“how to get free products in exchange for amazon reviews amazon product review request”

Since I wrote my answer many things have changed. Over a year ago Amazon changed the reviewer rules. You no longer required to leave a review for a product you get for a reduced price. You can only leave about 4 reviews a month for things purchased at a reduced price. AMaxon rejects so many reviews especially bad reviews now. And because they can no longer require you to leave a review, the merchandise is no longer free and is not discounted as much. I was always a truthful reviewer. I told it like it was. But I stopped because it is no longer worth it.

While soliciting reviews can seem to take a lot of time and effort, their value cannot be underestimated. Reviews immediately add credibility to your book, communicating to potential customers that it is a worthy read. They also improve your book’s ranking when consumers are searching on Amazon, which is the primary reason to stay committed to getting reviews. If you’re able to move your title into earlier search pages, you’ll be discovered by readers who wouldn’t otherwise find you. And that, hopefully, will translate into more book sales.

These are the same as paid reviews… they payment is the product (for free or deep discount). You said it yourself in your other comment, you wouldn’t have paid full price. Even if something works well, that doesn’t mean it is worth full price; you can’t review that part of it, which is a very big part of the purchase evaluation (which reviews help with). Just because you used the product, doesn’t mean you are reviewing the same experience as a full-price purchaser.

In general, shoppers have begun to distrust these reviews because they believe them to be biased. That’s not just a “feeling,” as it turns out – a recent study of over 7 million reviews indicated that the average rating for products with incentivized reviews was higher than non-incentivized ones. (That is, a 4.74 average rating versus a 4.36 average rating, out of 5 stars).

That’s good to know. I’ve been frustrated with Amazon’s tendency to group reviews for multiple versions together. People have even complained about one of my reviews because they thought I had posted the review to the wrong item.

s mentioned above, I highly recommend you start reviewing items around the house/office you use often so companies can get an idea of how you write. Also, keep in mind that the type of products you review can dictate what companies contact you. If you only review headphones, you will likely get more requests to review headphones.

They don’t have a large product selection, and it’s really difficult to find products for free on Dollar Deal Reviews. This is because most of the freebies are gone quickly and they don’t update their selections very frequently.

I like “Loot Hoot” all the deals have working promo codes and there is no seller approval like trader. I get coupons for the deals I want w/ no probs. No need to give the amazon profile url or credit cards.

When asking for reviews, make sure you’re asking the right questions. You don’t just want to know if your customers liked the product. You want to know how they’re using it (explanation, photo, video), who they’d recommend it to, and if the product has changed something in their life.

Many Amazon sellers have been concerned about the future of feedback solicitation since Amazon.com, Inc. (“Amazon”) began allowing buyers to opt out of non-critical communication from merchants. Some have started thinking things like Is feedback solicitation really worth it? and Is this even allowed by Amazon?

New review site. It’s pretty simple, offers are through email but you actually have a shot at them. Excepted me after 2 days on my 4th review. Emails are completely unpredictable so I try to check often. All free except 1 was $1. Product Frenzie is the address just add the rest since it won’t let me post urls.

Loot Hoot has offers for every Amazon marketplace, not just the U.S. and Canada. That being said, it can be difficult at times for American shoppers as items are listed with foreign currencies and even having shipping prices already included. You can filter by country to make searching easier.

We’re a little different from other product review sites in that each one of our product groupings are displayed in an easy-to-follow format. While we may have researched dozens of products in a category, we’ll only show you the best picks because who has time to wade through hundreds of products in an industry? Our reviews are the perfect combination of product comparison, expert analysis and industry data so you can find the right product for you.

Do you know if the email that you put on your public profile needs to match the Amazon-registered email? I would really love to put an email to be contacted on but would like to use a disposable one for when it eventually gets picked up by spam bots.

EtekCitizen likes to give away their products free. The only catch is that all products being featured are just from one particular brand: EtekCitizen. Due to this limitation, I would often browse the products first at Amazon, instead of their site. If there is any item from them that catches my attention, I would then go back to EtekCitizen for a review opportunity.

This new product promotion program is owned and operated by the same veteran team that ran The Review Effect. Enjoy a simple email-only program to get up to 99% off on great new products. Available to product testers in the USA.

AmzRC is not a very good review site if you are a seller. I used this club for one month. I was happy to see that my coupons were being snagged fast. My happiness turned into dismay when I saw my products appeared on Amazon.com offered by another seller. I own this brand so no one else can sell them. This seller bought my products with my coupons and is now competing with me on Amazon. Of course he bought them from me at less than what they cost me.

Hi, Megan It is reallly useful to read your article . But I have a question . As you said ,Be prepared to offer your product for free in exchange for a revieBut as far as I know , it is not allowed as it is agaist Amazon policy . Also if he does not pay the bill , will amazon allow top reviewer to make a review ? Waiting for your fast reply . Best regards

Lum, a genial Canadian, offered this assessment: “The products Amazon shows you are the products that are most profitable for Amazon as a company.” If Amazon were to suddenly do a massive sweep of existing reviews as aggressive as what Fakespot or ReviewMeta might do, you’d suddenly see a lot more products with far fewer reviews, and a lot of customers suddenly uncertain about what exactly to buy.

I’d recommend Dollar Review Club. Free. I’ve reviewed 4,5 deals there with little issues. Happen one time that the code went expired and their customer service feedbacked to me within several hours and I got my quota back to claim another product. Better than what I experienced in other review sites where my question kept no response and I could only find it through FAQ with anger. If you are reviewer I think you can give a try. (Also found that it’s also free for seller to upload products there now…? interesting)

Call up any established product at Adagio Teas, for example, and you’ll see hundreds, if not thousands, of reviews. This is due in part to the fact that customers are rewarded five loyaltypoints for each review written.

While an interest in the products enrolled in the program is key to getting an invite — aside from looking for Vine reviews on Amazon (which is not an easy task), there’s no real way to know which products are enrolled. All we know is that vendors pay to have their products included — a fact that Amazon did not initially disclose, leading to some negative coverage of the program in the past.

I know this list can be overwhelming, but you can start from the beginning and work your way down. The more panels you join the more chances at getting products to test, plus you can make money too with these panels.

With product testing sites, the latter is less common than the first. Furthermore, most sites send coupon codes so they and or the Seller can use the Amazon Seller Center to track usage, and more importantly, get the “Verified purchase” badge on the review.

No. Starting on May 6, product reviews will be available for those listings that are eligible. eBay sellers who previously opted out of product reviews on My eBay will will be opted back into product reviews. If you opted out and want to opt in to take advantage of the benefits of product reviews before May 6 you can do so on My eBay.

It’s been a while, but you might remember that this ridiculous wolf-themed T-shirt became an ironic best-seller on Amazon back in 2009, paving the way for countless product reviews. I mean, it’s not every day that a t-shirt warrants its own Wikipedia page.  With so many great reviews to choose from, it was almost impossible to narrow things down to just one representative example. That said, this one here, which was one of the first to grace the product’s Amazon page, might just do the trick.

When it comes to get paid to review websites, RS is one of the most famous one. Its an international review site. You can write reviews on just about anything from electronics, hotels and restaurants to fashions, toys, books and everything else. Each review that you write, earns you $2, if it is on the hot topics requested by Review Stream. For any other reviews, members are paid %0.25 per review. On the top of that, each time a member votes for your review, you earn an additional $0.1. Once you have $50 in your account, you can request a payment, which will be paid to you via PayPal.

Run by Lisa Koivu, a former contributor to the U.S. News Frugal Shopper blog, ShopGirlDaily.com keeps you abreast of the latest trends in the retail world, including the best ways to score a deal or where to find the best price for fall boots. She also publishes gift guides and information on affordable subscription boxes.

The Bad: EA put too much hype out there about it for way too long. They had everyone drooling over this games possibilities for YEARS. Talking like if gamers played this game every day, all day, it would take almost 80 years for them to explore all the games possible stars in the galaxy. And of course when the makers of Sims say something like that, it’s very believable and appealing. But the game just didn’t live up to the hype.

And, as best I can tell, you didn’t miss anything – there’s no average rating or most helpful reviews pulled when you filter it down. You just have to slog through them until you get the information you need….

While receiving free and discounted products is fun, the most important part of the transaction is writing the honest review on Amazon. It is worth noting that all items that were provided free or at a discount need to have the following sentence included in the review per Amazon review guidelines: “This product was provided at a discounted price in exchange for my honest review.” Taking the time to provide an honest review is important because companies want to hear what you have to say about their product, but more importantly, so do your fellow shoppers.

This is another exclusive review program that requires an invite in order to sign up. Click through and use the application form we found to apply for your invitation. Since FAQs are closed to members, info is limited at this time. (Likely) available for reviewers in USA.

I stumbled across this blog about 6 months ago and it inspired me to push myself to write as many reviews as possible, with the aim of climbing the Amazon reviewer rankings and becoming one of Amazons top reviewers.

I was a vine reviewer. Till I gave 1 star reviews and told the truth about some children books. Amazon took my Vine priveledges away…And told me why. Sorry. I could not lie to other parents, and yes I do not regret my decision. Even if I don’t have a vine membership any longer. Even if I could get laptops, HD tv, furniture, appliances, and the latest technologies FREE….I am sticking to my morals and honesty.

Books definitely have fake reviews. I know, because I’m the assistant to an author, and it is ridiculously difficult to get real reviews. So when you see a LOT of them, you can pretty much bet the majority are fake. Fan letters can flood in via email, but just try and get those very same fans to post reviews on Amazon. They just can’t be bothered. (It would be great if Amazon offered discounts or something to incentivize real reviewers.)

On the one hand, I do have sellers that solicit me for product reviews, so I would be doing something that would also help their small businesses grow. Would I be discerning and not contact sellers that either sent me inferior products or sellers that I declined products from because their product seemed inferior? Or would I handle it from a perspective of more seller referrals may net more money for me and increased free/discounted products for me and the review community? On one hand, we are each responsible for deciding whether to perform due diligence prior to accepting to review a product. On the other hand, I may not want to encourage relationship building with sellers of inferior products as it may result in an (likely unwanted) increase emails from them asking me to review (likely more inferior) products?

However, since I bought it for him, I was the one that had to load it, and that was not fun. I am not a computer programmer, but I can usually load a new piece of software on a PC. This took my sister and I an hour to get it to load. We had to go to youtube to figure out how to load it. That is why I gave it a 3 star. So other than the loading issue, I got a good price on Amazon and it shipped in plenty of time for his birthday. So if you are buying this for a kid I would recommend it.

When you want to try out an item on Product Elf, you click the “Get Coupon” button. Some sellers have their products setup for instant approval while others need to be manually approved by the seller. Once your request is reviewed and approved, you will be emailed the coupon.

Amazon product review software places your feedback and product review requests on auto-pilot with professionally written messages, delivered to the right customers, at the right time the right products.

Snagshout is one of the most popular review sites because you can theoretically test one new product every day when you redeem a “snag.” You get a new snag every three days and can accumulate up to five snags at once. They will send you a regular newsletter to make it easier to find

You have to wonder If there is a negativity bias behind this article. Its like they’re implyingnyhay negative reviews are more legitimate than positive. However. When someone has an ax. to grind its not unusual for them to get friends to gangup on a product and lost very extreme negative reviews in an effort to take down someone they dislike. That’s a far worse problemproblem the negative review trolls.

You may also want to try using one of the many campaign companies to help you get reviews. Companies like Honest Few, I Love to Review, and Reviews for Free (to name a few) can help get your product in front of reviewers and reviews posted with in a week or so thereafter. It’s far easier than doing it yourself.

If you are selling a book, then perhaps even insert a link (or short description) on How To write a (book)review. If you have just one or two reviews, then insert the topic as a quote and just ask your customers if they agree.

How do I know they are fake you ask… Easy, look at the other products that the person has reviewed, there usually are not any, but when they are they are all from the same seller. Another way is that someone will have like 50 reviews in a 2 day period, but then no other positive reviews, ever. Another way, You will see a reviewer review different products with different descriptions about who they are (e.g., “I am a professional plumber so…”, “As a professional photographer, I think…”, “As a large man, I found…”, “As a single mother…” all from the same person). Another indicator is when they use the same broken English in multiple 5 star reviews or misspell the exact same word the same way under different names (no verified purchase, of course). Of course, none of these are 100% guarantees they are fake, but once you start looking for them, it becomes obvious.

Since I began receiving free products I have kept a spreadsheet of all of the items that I have received. Since 26th June I have received 128 products with a combined value of £2,392.00 ($3,588.00). I find myself reviewing lots of similar products, most common items are Bluetooth Speakers, Bluetooth earphones & Headphones, Power Banks, Phone & Tablet cases & IP Camera’s, but I also received kitchen utensils, lighting, tablets and computer peripherals. As a consequence I now only accept approx 20% of the items that I am offered, you can get fed up with reviewing Bluetooth earphones!

A few years ago I noticed something some companies are doing to game Amazon reviews that’s either genius, evil, or totally a figment of my imagination: product placement in Amazon reviews of related products. So, for example, you hire people to place fake reviews for stereo speakers across Amazon, but make sure all of them mention that the customer bought the speakers for your particular brand of stereo. Then it doesn’t matter if the review is positive, negative, average, etc. The important thing is that everyone reading reviews of speakers is suddenly learning how popular your stereo is among people who care about high quality sound. It’s practically untraceable. It’s the perfect review-gaming crime. I wrote about it in 2011 here: http://www.ironicsans.com/2011/02/product_placement_in_amazon_re.html

This review program is part of the Honstek brand of headphones speakers. Like Mengo, GMYLE Lab, and Anker, they only offer their own brand’s products for review. Available to reviewers in USA, UK, France, Canada, Germany, Italy, Spain, and Japan.

Another key indicator that a series of product reviews is fake is that the “Customers who bought this also bought the following items” section is littered with products that have no conceivable connection at all to the reviewed product. E.g. if you see that customers who purchase a particular brand of power drill also happen to purchase a particular pedicure kit or makeup mirror, that’s highly suspect.

Also, they asked me to check some of the existing reviews, and to click that one helped me. They suggested the video review that was included, but said I could choose any one that I liked. I did click and choose to say the video review helped me, because it’s a solid review and it did a great job of showcasing the product features. But the whole thing just seemed different than what I expected.

This site has one of the largest public marketplaces I have ever seen on a review site! Lots of ladies fashion, phone accessories, cables, umbrellas, jewelry, and toys (at time of writing.) Available to reviewers in USA.

Katia, thanks for the heads up. I did some digging and found out that they didn’t actually end the program. They updated their site and in the process have changed some of their pages and their URLs. I found the correct page and have updated the link. It should now take you to their signup/login page for their panel.

Trust Review Network has some enticing offers on their homepage. You can buy valuable items like unlocked smartphones, laptops, and mini espresso machines for pennies on the dollar. In regards to the smartphones, the normal retail price is $179.99 and they can be purchased for $0.99.

wow, louida, you have a nice picture in the meet me. and the other small one under hello is a good one too. its nice to meet you. you are a really nice person. you deserve to be thanked for all of your help. you are so kind.

Suppliers often find you based on reviews you have written before. Example: a camera manufacture will go to Amazon and open up detail pages on cameras that are similar to the one they want reviewed. They will likely sort the reviews by the latest ones and start scanning them for well written reviews. As we mentioned before, this would be a review of good length, the content covers the product features, has some constructive criticism (not too much), and the tone of voice is neutral yet leaning toward supportive.

NOTE: the difference between this company name link and the other company name link above it is that the one under the title of the product is a search link (does an Amazon search for that name), and the Sold by link is a link to their Amazon storefront.

I had already sent the reply I copied here, and I heard back from them asking me to proceed and providing the discount code. However, the code drops the cost to $2.99. Is that normal? Should I proceed? Honestly, I like the look of the product and it’s something I wouldn’t mind having.

They have a huge marketplace with a broad range of products from apparel, home decor, headphones, accessories for electronics, kitchen gear, knives, workout supplements and much more! Available for product testers in in the UK, USA, Ireland, France and Canada.

I have only ever reached out to 1 or 2 companies that I can remember. I get about 1 offer a day now, so I don’t really have that much time to request more. And it is always via the email address I have listed on my Amazon profile.

Once you become a Top Reviewer, companies sometimes request you give them shout-outs on multiple social media accounts. The more expensive the product, the more advertising the companies will want from you in order to get items for free.

For more targeted marketing, link to your product pages – An often overlooked practice is not linking to specific product pages. For example you might sell a “green widget” and have a specific webpage for “green widget” located at http://mywebsite.com/green-widget.  Having reviewers link to these specific product pages will help these pages rank higher for specific searches.

“I’ve been using AMZRC for the last couple of months and initially I wasn’t sure of what results I would get because there’s so much competition out there with similar review websites. However I was pleasantly surprised! Initially I got a great deal as a seller because I signed up for the annual membership which allows me to post deals for my Amazon products every 3 days. I had amazing results such as an increase in sales as well as loads of genuine 5 star reviews for my product. This worked wonders for my Amazon listing and my product was rated top 20 in its category. Thanks to the team at AMZRC you guys have great support and I’m loving the new website.”

As someone who frequents Slickdeals, a website that aggregates the daily online deals, I’ve witnessed myself and others fall victim to the herd mentality. Many silly purchasing decisions have been made all because of a forum swarming with users saying, “in for 3, what a great deal!” or “unbelievable price on these, they’ll sell out quickly.” This results in unnecessary, even down-right useless purchases – an outcome that many on the site dub the SD affect. The truth is that we’re programmed to act quite sheepish.

BuView is more of a focus group but it is another way to test products that are pending release or will be soon. Like other paid survey sites, product offers are based on your profile and interests and the vendor’s target audience.

I’m a Vine reviewer and I take my role very seriously. There is a bias in that I won’t request products I don’t think I will have a use for, but I have no problem leaving a 1 or 2-star review if I think the product warrants it. My most popular reviews tend to be the longer ones – 600+ words – as I get into a lot of detail you won’t get from the product description. I also review a lot of my own purchases.

Upon registration, the website will award you with 200 deal tickets that can be useful for immediate redemption or discount codes. Your deal tickets will accumulate after you put in more and more reviews!

Product testing is when you try out a product for a company and you give them your honest opinion of that product through a survey, quiz, or discussion questions. Most of the time this happens online but sometimes you may be asked to do a product testing in person.

With Survey Panels, you get paid to take surveys, do product testing, join paid focus groups, and joining online communities. Some surveys you’ll qualify for and some you’ll not because it depends on what demographic the company is looking for.

Overall, it’s a great game for a 9 year old kid. Some people think the game is shallow and have all sorts of critiques, but my son thinks it is fun and I think the concept of the game is cute. I don’t really care about DRM issues in general because I had only planned for my son to use it on his computer; however, with EA’s history of customer service and the suspected hacking of their key codes, it does become a problem.

A review may not show on your item for one of two reasons. First, your item may not be eligible for review. Second, a review may not have been provided by a buyer. eBay prompts buyers to be the first to write products reviews.

Amazon is doing their best to combat fake reviews, but honestly, they aren’t doing a ton. In a way we’re dealing with the same black vs. white hat problem of whether or not you should buy Twitter followers, which is a tremendously controversial topic.

Most of the offers ask me if I am interested in the item first and then give me the info to get them. A few, however, just send out a lists of codes with a first come, first served approach. I can’t check my email non-stop, so I have missed out on all of those.

However, Amazon hasn’t stated yet what makes a brand “Vine-worthy” or how to get invited for this program. We could expect this to change in the near future once the interest on the Vine program increases.

I pretty much skip over the Vine reviews — or consider them more of a product brochure than a review. Most of them are too long. All I really want to know is in general, are the purchasers pleased with their purchases and why/why not. Wish Amazon would limit the length of reviews.

“[They] provide these “Verified Reviews” only if the reviewers obtain the product for free, in addition to receiving payment for the “review.” In at least one instance, the seller of a “Verified Review” was willing to receive an empty envelope …simply to create a shipping record to .. avoid detection by Amazon.”

Cross-Reviewing (CR) is a new innovation that allows reviewers to see each other’s reports once all reports have been submitted. It provides reviewers with a short window of time in which to discuss the reports. During this time, they are given the opportunity to provide additional information or make further recommendations to the editor based on this discussion, before they make a final decision.

You’ve spent months (years!?) carefully crafting every word, patiently navigating the editing and printing process and, finally, you’ve reached the promised land – your book is on the Amazon marketplace. The hard part is over, right?

The active way would be to come right out and say that you enjoy reviewing products on Amazon. While there is no hard and fast rule against you saying that you would take products in exchange for honest reviews, I would advise against it. Since Amazon has the Vine Program in place, I’m not sure how kindly they would take to you overtly circumventing the program on your profile. It’s not that Amazon doesn’t know people are sent items for free in exchange for reviews, but I am sure they would prefer you not advertise you do so outside of Vine. But, if you are super eager to be sent products to review, then maybe the active approach might be best for you.

To my eyes, Amazon could make its reviews more reliable in several ways. For one easy thing, it could weight reviews from verified purchases more heavily in its system — if every positive review of a product isn’t a verified purchase, while every negative review is a verified purchase, that should have a much larger impact on the displayed average score. Amazon says it’s reducing the number of unverified-purchase an individual account can leave per week; this is a helpful step forward, but more can and should be done.

SnagShout launched recently and varies quite a bit from HonestFew. You still need to register for an account, however, and at that point you will gain access to a marketplace of items that are available from Amazon at discounted prices. The majority of the discounts offered are between 30 and 90 percent off, depending on the product, but you will even find a few items that are free. Items listed on the site run the gamut from toys to beauty products to general household items such as flashlights and bedroom sets. There’s a little bit of everything.

The Chinese crap on Amazon is out of control. Not only the non-UL listed electronics, but the sweat-shop clothing that no ethical store would ever import (easily recognized by the measurements being in centimeters and the fractured explanations of how size XXL equals an American/European size S).

Even if you don’t manage your feedback in FeedbackFive, you can still sign up for an account to track product reviews. If you do that, you will have access to the “My Product Reviews” interface and will be able to see other pages, but we won’t import orders or send emails on your behalf. If you’re a FeedbackFive user already, “My Product Reviews” will appear in your dashboard’s sidebar. You can track two ASINs for free, or you can sign up for this enhancement to your account, which starts at $9.95 per month.

First and foremost, we are a review site – not a news site. We won’t have updates and announcements of new product launches or news about upcoming changes to the latest and greatest handheld gadget before its released. You can visit one of the other Purch brands for that.

Lol. I got my Vine membership taken away for writing an honest review. I agree 100 percent. And just tried to review an item I purchased last week and amazon rejected it at 1 star, and truthful. I am thinking of returning, try more stars, and lie and I bet my new review will be accepted.

Wonderful post. Thanks for sharing the insights. Would you mind throwing some light on not your product itself but the competition your product had prior to you For example – I sell essential oil in the geated beauty category and since the competition is so fierce, I’m struggling to make organic sales. Indeed, sales and reviews seem to be the mantra for AMZ algo. I’m currently trending at 31 reviews and should hit the 50 review mark in 2 weeks hopefully. I’m truly hoping things start to change then.

Have you tried houseparty.com. You don’t get paid but can get free products (food and beverages, tv, movies, music, household products, and products for kids). I think you have to apply to be a host for whatever products you are interested in, invite friends and family, and best of all, have fun!! I’m going to apply to a few today.

It is in Amazon’s best interest for products to have positive reviews – this builds faith in the Amazon Marketplace (makes people feel good about any potential purchase) and encourages sellers to pay for amazon shill services, (VINE) much like YELP extorts local business owners.

If you like customized cases for your smartphone and other technology devices but don’t want to pay top dollar, you will like GMYLE. By signing up for their Laboratory Programme, you can sample upcoming and existing products for free. They have some neat designs that include marble, wood, bamboo, and galaxy patterns. These products can definitely turn some eyes.

Personally I filter out the Vine reviews, quite frankly I don’t care about the opinion of someone who got it for free. I want someone with skin in the game to tell me if it is worth the price they paid.

Join Amazon review sites to get coupon codes for the free products to review. Some offer 100% free codes and others offer deeply discounted codes. Start with a few sites then once you get the hang of things, join more.

Amazon is the place where people can find essential items at good prices or profitably to sell their merchandize. This website has been helping out business owners and common folk for many years. Time for you to harness its potential and make profitable deals.

“how to get products for review amazon |amazon product review api”

Another problem in not having any control over who takes the coupons is that not all reviewers are sane people. My products are good. Less than 5% of the reviews have 3 stars. All the rest are 4 or 5 stars. But someone gave me a 2 star. When I looked at this person’s other reviews, I saw that she habitually gives bad reviews to products that generally receive good reviews. She is obviously a disgruntled or maybe careless/thoughtless/jealous individual. Had I seen her track record I would never have approved her to receive my product.

I do my best to only request items that I would buy, and hold items to a standard that corresponds to its price. On top of that I’m a horribly picky person and prone to buyer’s remorse. However I’m still not sure I’m giving an item a fair shake. The best I can do, really, is to give far more extensive and thorough reviews than I would for some random item I’ve bought.

Give your customers a reason to review you. It may be something as simple as writing a personalized thank you note, but that gesture will go a long way in making your customers feel warm and fuzzy. Delush Polish does such a great job at going the extra mile that customers actually share the packaging on Instagram.

Getting your customers to leave feedback on Amazon is a breeze, thanks to FeedbackFive’s automatic solicitation and timing rules. Customize your timing preferences so that customers receive emails at the time when they are most likely to open the message, click through, and leave feedback.

And incidentally, Amazon specifically tells us not to talk about shipping and purchase process in reviews in their guidelines so that isn’t a flaw of the free-item/Vine review system as is mentioned here. They want that information given in product/seller feedback. Check their review guidelines page about what reviews are rejected. No one is supposed to include that information.

To clarify, I meant the example of put and “out,” strictly as an example. I typed the above reply….and this one, on my phone. I intentionally misspelled proofreading for fun, but then I read it after posting it and notice more mistakes so I don’t want anyone to thank that Grammarly wouldn’t have caught those. And on my phone, editing is a pain, so I typically hit submit and then k read and edit where it’s easier to scroll. I didn’t realize this format doesn’t allow editing after submission.

This site launched at the end of July 2016. They show a handful of sample products on their home page: costumes, toys, beauty supplies, electronics, speakers, phone cases, apparel, video camera, and more. Available for reviewers in the UK.

Once you become a Top Reviewer, companies sometimes request you give them shout-outs on multiple social media accounts. The more expensive the product, the more advertising the companies will want from you in order to get items for free.

No. Members are not paid to participate in the program or to write reviews. Members will receive free product in exchange for writing reviews. There is no pressure or expectation to write positive reviews, and negative reviews do not affect membership in the program.

If anything is childish, it’s your comment. Anyone who thinks there are not many, many people who are jealous of those who get things for free has very limited knowledge of human nature. I didn’t say everyone was jealous. Once again, if you want to believe all Vine reviews are worthless, be my guest. It’s totally untrue, but imagine whatever you want.

However, Amazon hasn’t stated yet what makes a brand “Vine-worthy” or how to get invited for this program. We could expect this to change in the near future once the interest on the Vine program increases.

With hundreds of millions of items for sale, from electronics and books to pet supplies and diapers, Amazon is unquestionably the largest online retailer on the planet. In fact, Amazon, from a market cap perspective, is even larger today than Walmart.

On behalf of Giveaway Service Team, I wish to thank you for writing such a positive comment about us. I would also like to point out that the discounted price on our website must not exceed $2. This means authors review products they got for free or at a highly discounted price.

Still, the Echo is more than a souped-up speaker with Siri-like smarts — it’s the connected home experience you didn’t know you wanted. It’s no longer the first Alexa gadget I’d recommend, but it’s still a fascinating product and a worthy buy if you can catch it on sale during Prime Day or Black Friday.

Have you filled out your profile completely? Also, it really what ever demographic a company is looking for. I fit the demographic as a young mother with children who is the main shopper in the family, so I get a lot more opportunities to test products.

With banks and retailers increasingly communicating their best deals over Twitter and Facebook, it can literally pay to follow or friend them. You can also use social media to request refunds or report problems, which can translate into savings. Just be sure to keep personal information like account numbers offline or in private first time you write a review, you earn $3 for it. After that, each review earns you $1.00. Reviews are rated based on their quality. There is a quality review threshold, which if your review score reaches that point, you earn an additional $10.00 on the top of what you already earn for the your reviews. The minimum required for payout is $10.00. Carrotreviews has one set back and that is the fact that you are restricted to writing only 5 reviews a month. Although this rules changes from time to time.

Yeah, I too have noticed that lately the lists I am signed up for run out of product at a much faster rate than before. I can’t complain since I am running and promoting a site with a main purpose to open up the review-in-exchange practice to many more people.

When it comes to purchasing a product or a services, reviews play a big role in the decision making of many consumers. That’s why, many companies spend a lot of money to understand what costumers think of their products and how they would like it to be improved. It’s almost like paid surveys and mystery shopping in a sense. It works in a simple way – you get paid to share your experience with others about a product or a service that you have used in the past.

@lee_fyock:disqus Products have trouble standing on their own because we’ve all trained ourselves to be biased against anything “new”, and need the consensus of many others to overcome that. While that’s generally great, it does mean new products and brands have a hard time getting the initial momentum they need to get the more organic word-of-mouth going, even if they are delivering something of real quality.

This is a relaunch of AMZ Review Trader under a new name. They have a huge marketplace of discounted products. Typically a LOT of products per email with even more on the site. Available to reviewers in USA, UK, Brazil, Canada, Germany, Spain, France, India, Italy, Japan, Mexico.

Save time and simplify the task of brand management with Review Central. Gather and organize your product reviews for the past 90 days (up to the first 10 pages), stay informed about what customers are saying about your products.

We are all about helping you find the product or service that works for you. We exist to make your complicated buying decisions easier. If you ever have any specific questions about the reviews on our site, please contact us on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram.

Amazon is a systemic, fraudulent, corrupt company. Bezos is aware of all of the issues that the programmers utilize to maximize profit. None are “mistakes” or errors. Doesn’t anyone realize that Amazon makes $$ from EVERY item? So sellers that “ship” from China with goods never coming, to blocking sellers accounts and holding their money, under the guise of protecting the consumer, to not really caring about fraudulent reviews (bad reviews mean the item may not sell), to the most outrageous and systemic gravy train there is = subscriptions! Going down card after card until something is approved, singing people up for “trials” knowing that they already had one, so it’s charged right away, to allowing children to sign up for subscriptions, to IMDB – the company is the devil reincarnate. When will someone sue the bastards?

Still, if it’s audio quality you’re concerned with, you can find better-sounding speakers at this price. The option to sync the Echo up with an external sound system and use it more strictly as a point of control would be a good fix, and a nice touch for the audiophiles out there. That’s an option with the pint-sized Echo Dot, but not with the full-sized Echo. Amazon seems pretty committed to the idea of the Echo as an all-in-one device.

This is why a responsible reviewer sets aside time each day or week to update reviews. I do mine weekly. If, during the week, I notice a product has failed to perform, has performed better than I thought initially, or has some feature that I’ve just discovered, I go back and update. Products have gone from five stars to one, and from two to four. Each time, I leave my original review, and amend it to add my new thoughts or findings.

Have you filled out your profile completely? Also, it really what ever demographic a company is looking for. I fit the demographic as a young mother with children who is the main shopper in the family, so I get a lot more opportunities to test products.

From what I understand, companies are looking for buzz on new products, and, most of the time, some reviews are better than no reviews. There have been loads of great Vine items that no company would have been insecure about, desperate for a kind word. My guess is they are also hoping to make Vine reviewers loyal to their brand; just as Amazon probably hopes Vine reviewers will stay loyal to Amazon.

What I do care about re:reviews is that while you may be as good as gold, there is an unfortunate connotation that if someone gets something for free that there might be a tendency to review less harshly. When it’s your money on the line you get more annoyed if something isn’t up to snuff. That’s a tendency.

You will find yourself leaning towards buying from Amazon more often than other sites if they have an item available, just because the shipping is free, and you get it it two days…I sure do! Wouldn’t work at all if prices weren’t competitive, though.

Pick a seller (if the product has more than one) to send your request to. Try to find the sellers email on their page, or thought Google or Facebook. If you can’t, just message them on Amazon by clicking “Ask a question” on their page.

I tried signing up for a few of these, including the Amazon Review Trader. But when I try to review a product, I get a notice that I have not added my user profile. When I add it, I get a message saying “that profile URL is already in use”… I’ve tried a number of times, logged out of anything using my Amazon log on, restarted my computer, but it persists.. I tried contacting them to ask what could be causing this, but received an email saying they have too many requests for help so my email will not be answered.. Can a person only sign up for one of these programs? Could that be the problem?

I would say, mostly there are restricted to the U.S. consumers. That said it wouldn’t hurt to contact each site or at least check out their FAQ section to see if they accept members from other of the world.

I think Amazon has answered some of your requests. Reviews that come from the Vine program are labeled at the very top of the review with the phrase “ Vine Customer Review of Free Product”. This phrase is in bright green text so you can’t miss it. This blurb is automatically attached by Amazon to any Vine review.

As of now, the Echo is available in the US, Germany and the UK. One of the challenges in launching the Echo in a range of countries is making sure Alexa understands different accents and knows when words are used in different contexts.

This company is highly involved in products research and development. And under their KabelDirekt Premium User program, they often solicit qualified members to provide feedback. And contributing members will be rewarded with free products.

This tank R-O-C-K-S! Literally- the 400-watt sound-system keeps me rockin like a crazy man as I’m dishing out justice commando style. Wow. I just can’t say enough. And the kids love it, too- imagine the look of terror in the eyes of the enemy as I’m dropping off my kid’s team to their soccer game. Shock and awe, my friends, SHOCK AND AWE!

Elite deals and uber are pretty bad. Deals sell out within seconds so its hard to get them. I have gotten a few through elite, but they have grown beyond their capabilities. Uber…I have attempted numerous deals only to get the invalid code error every single time.

Some of these Amazon reviewers make a living doing this – it’s serious business, and some may do as many as 100 reviews a month. Be prepared to offer your product for free in exchange for a review – depending on your product, this could be a pricey expenditure, so you’ll have to decide if this is a strategy you can afford.

Experienced online shoppers know what to look for. They’ll typically read the most positive reviews first (to see if the product does what they want), followed by the worst. They know that a decent percentage of bad reviews on otherwise good products aren’t necessarily related to the product itself.

Tracy, there is no telling when they will get back to you. I’d imagine it all depends on how busy they are and whether or not they have an upcoming test. I would wait a few weeks and then try to contact them. Good luck.

I often rely on Amazon product reviews when I make a purchase. This article is 7 years old. I certainly hope that if it is no longer relevant, that Amazon still monitors reviews for fraudulent entries.

They don’t have a large product selection, and it’s really difficult to find products for free on Dollar Deal Reviews. This is because most of the freebies are gone quickly and they don’t update their selections very frequently.

I just got OB tampons through them get something I can’t use now since i had surgery to fix some women issues. I have been quite a bit from crowdtap lately I am going to be getting some shampoo and conditioners and hair color here soon.

I haven’t seen anything forbidding gift cards being sent to a reviewer. Could you post a link to the page that states that? As for refunds, forbidden or not, I wouldn’t recommend anyone get into that mess. Be sure to get the product up front, or at least a 100% off coupon code to purchase it via Amazon Checkout for $0.00. Do NOT buy a product with the expectations that they will refund you after a review is written. It’s payment for review (a gray area, or flat out forbidden), and open for being taken advantage of by the person requesting the review.

Just as a new car loses value as soon as it’s driven off the lot, new products also lose value after a customer opens them and then returns them to the store. That’s where Blinq.com comes in. The site partners with retailers to sell discounted items to customers who don’t mind minor signs of use or the fact that the packaging has been opened.

To get some perspective, we spoke with Bing Liu, a professor in the department of computer science at the University of Illinois at Chicago, whose focuses include sentiment analysis, opinion mining, and lifelong machine learning. He has written textbooks on the subjects. We wanted to know his opinion on whether it is possible for a program or group of programs to evaluate reviews and correctly determine their validity. Liu’s thoughts:

Ok, so I have not played this game as I bought it for my nephew and this seems to be the target audience. My nephew has played this allot since I bought it for him. The concept seems fun as you walk a creature through evolutionary steps. He is always laughing and showing off his creations. If my rating was based strictly on how much fun he is having with it I would give it a 5 star.

As for being attacked, don’t write your review with that fear in mind. You are supposed to be writing for the customer in mind. I wrote a negative review about some probiotics once, and it gets more up-votes than any other product I reviewed recently. I still get asked to review probiotics (which I don’t accept anymore.)

Make a plan to check on your reviews at least a few times a day, or use notifications so you’ll know whenever a review is submitted. If you moderate your reviews, approve or reject them as often as you can to keep things moving.
