“products for amazon reviews _review my amazon products”

We’ve already shared some great ways to make money, but this nifty guide will teach you everything you need to know about making money specifically from product testing. From assessing the benefits to finding the best (and legit) sites, we’ve got the essentials covered! Read on…

Within seconds after signing up, your FeedbackFive account goes to work and automatically solicits feedback from customers. Based on your preferences, you can tell FeedbackFive how often and for which products to solicit Amazon feedback. Set it once, and watch the feedback roll in.

After registering for an account, you will begin receiving emails letting you know if there are new products available for review. If there is a product that you would like to review, you will need to grab a coupon code, purchase the item from Amazon at a super discounted rate and then post your review to Amazon within two weeks of receiving the product. Once your review is posted to Amazon, you also need to submit the review link to HonestFew. Those who do not review the items they are sent are removed from the program.

Great article! Thanks for your help personalizing my profile- I didn’t realize that was something I could do! I was wondering if you’ve ever personally contacted companies to test their products or if they generally just approach you? I really considered going the “bold” and “direct” route you mentioned, but I don’t want to get into trouble from Amazon either, haha. Also- if they contact you- is it always through your email- or is there a way for them to contact you through Amazon?

No. Writing a negative review will not impact a Voice’s reviewer ranking. A reviewer’s ranking is determined by the number of helpful votes from other customers. Customers tend to value substantive, informative, detailed and objective reviews, regardless of whether the review is positive, negative, or neutral.

Amazon doesn’t provide much information on how it makes that decision. For example, we found Vine Voice reviewers who received 4,000 helpful votes. Some Hall of Famers have received over 88,000 votes but are not a part of the program. There is clearly no exact science in play here. One Vine Voice reviewer posted on Quora that he received his invite with over 30 reviews and over 300 votes. In addition to numbers, according to him, it also depends on which categories Amazon is looking to add new Vine Voices — in other words — there’s no guarantee.

Oz Naturals is another review site that only sells products for their brand. In this case, you can review skin care products for only a few dollars. This can be a good option for the health-conscious as Oz Naturals only use natural and organic active ingredients.

Return to your cart and Delete the item. Open a different browser tab or even window and go back to the original product and add it to your cart starting the check out process all over again. Do not add it from any Wishlist or Saved for Later lists.

Upon registration, the website will award you with 200 deal tickets that can be useful for immediate redemption or discount codes. Your deal tickets will accumulate after you put in more and more reviews!

6. Always fill out your demographic information with each product testing website you’re signed up with. This helps them know which product testing surveys are better suited for you, and more than likely you’ll will qualify for.

6. Repeat forever. This process takes two elements that scares many people away: time and money. You need to make an effort (time) and you need to send a product to a reviewer (money). Ironically, this is your biggest advantage, since your competitor is unlikely to do this, even though it’s as easy as pie! They will stay stuck with their 14 reviews, while you pile up 463 and more. If you stick with this, you will win!

An easy way to find the best deals on Snagshout is browsing their “Under $5” section that includes snags from every product category. While the deals are always changing, one example of getting a product for free is a premium Berberine supplement for 95%.

When I first started completing surveys back in 2008, I believe I received my first product test survey within 1 to 2 months and I remember it was from SurveySpot to test coffee and I was paid $150! When I did this I was hooked! I started to sign up with as many Survey Panels I could find and I’m so glad I did!

I wrote the following as a review of the product in question and it was rejected. I understand the reason – I was not really reviewing the product. I have not been able to find a place where I can send it to Amazon.

Amazon, the Amazon logo, Fulfillment by Amazon, FBA, Seller Central, and any other Amazon owned company names, products, and/or logos are property and the trademarks of Amazon.com or its affiliates. eComEngine is not directly affiliated with Amazon.com, Inc.

They have a huge marketplace with a broad range of products from apparel, home decor, headphones, accessories for electronics, kitchen gear, knives, workout supplements and much more! Available for product testers in in the UK, USA, Ireland, France and Canada.

I have no idea if this helped anyone, but it would have helped me. I think in most of my reviews I have approached them as such, and will likely continue to do so. To me the key to any review is to stand out as offering a critique or kudo, that isn’t what has already been said. Otherwise, just click a star rating and move on.

To get started, you will need a Facebook account. Most sites either require an email address or valid phone number, so this registration method is a little different but makes sense as Loot Hoot is a global website. It is free to join Loot Hoot.

I’ve notice with Survey Panels that women with children get more opportunities to test products. This may be the reason why you don’t get as many. There is no way to say how many products you’ll be able to test each month with companies, it all depends on your demographic. Make sure to fill out any screeners a survey panel sends you for a better chance to get into product testing.

Paid Reviews – We do not permit reviews or votes on the helpfulness of reviews that are posted in exchange for compensation of any kind, including payment (whether in the form of money or gift certificates), bonus content, entry to a contest or sweepstakes, discounts on future purchases, extra product, or other gifts.

“Thanks for asking me to review your product. I want to let you know that I feel uncomfortable being asked by a Seller to up-vote other reviews since this goes against Amazon’s policy forbidding “solicitations for helpful votes” (source: http://www.amazon.com/gp/community-help/customer-reviews-guidelines).

I posted before about being an Amazon top reviewer. I just wanted to let you know that I recently found out that BzzzAgent MAY be involved in activity that violates the Amazon terms of service. I don’t know about Smiley 360. However, if you are serious about being a top reviewer, I would recommend not joining any groups or clubs outside of Amazon. It is more likely to get you in trouble than anything else. I just wanted to let you know.

Last occurence, not later than yesterday is that my Security Guard who called on my behalf (I do not speak Hindi and it seems that people at HomeTown does not speak English) was informed that our response was too late and pick-up is cancelled.

Yup, that sounds like Amazon! I have had two experiences with them that blew my mind and opened my eyes to how they treat customers (and I’m a customer since 1996 who has spent tens of thousands of dollars with them).

Hey Angela! I have won a couple of sweepstakes, but that was years ago. Surveys are pretty saturated with people, so it’s more harder to win them nowadays. You’re better off completing surveys that offers money, points, and product testing.

That is a great tip to show you actually own the product! As for tips on taking better product photography, I would say not to worry about it. The pictures should look natural and from your point of view. If they start to look too good or staged, a person could think they are not from a real person but from the company themselves.

I now want to include the first email, as it doesn’t contain the same sort of errors. Which to me, says that I received a form email that has been prepared for employees to send to potential reviewers. And the reply was from the employee and was typed uniquely. Overall, that makes me feel better about it, but I still appreciate your feedback.

Additionally, reviewers may give their opinions on items for which they have no expertise or real experience and therefore have no frame of reference about how well something works by comparison. It’s hard to say how good something is if you don’t know what else is out there.

Requesting and publishing customer reviews in an essential, ongoing part of doing business online. Using the steps listed here can convince shoppers that you’re trustworthy and have great products. They can also inspire other customers to share their thoughts about the products you sell.

Write your message. You can say something like “Hi, my name is XXXX. I really enjoy doing product reviews for seller’s and I would be happy to provide an honest review in exchange for a free product. Here’s a link to my Amazon profile (your link goes here) and here are a few reviews I’ve recently done (include the permalink to the reviews, if you have any).”

The sole exception to this rule is when a free or discounted copy of a physical product is provided to a customer up front. In this case, if you offer a free or discounted product in exchange for a review, you must clearly state that you welcome both positive and negative feedback. If you receive a free or discounted product in exchange for your review, you must clearly and conspicuously disclose that fact. Reviews from the Amazon Vine program are already labeled, so additional disclosure is not necessary. Read more about promotional content.

Message: In this email, you focus on making sure the customer got the product in good condition while looking to see they don’t have any problems with it. This can help you reduce the number of negative reviews you get for your products.

Influenster: Influenster is looking for social media influencers to spread the word about products that range anywhere from single cup coffee makers to the newest cosmetics. You can get one item to review or a box of products to review.

I have used over 25 codes and all have gone through for me. You have to open the unberclub email asap to still have codes available that work and aren’t sold out. Good luck ladies. I would say 1 in 10 codes don’t work by time I get the item into my inbox.

This is my favorite page on the web! I have it bookmarked. Thank you so much for all of this information. I have linked up your page on my site so other freebie lovers can check it out for themselves as well. I sent you an email too. Showing some love from http://enjoyfreebies.com ☺

You know that review site we have all been looking for? The one that has a close relationship with reviewers and offers high end products for review? Yeah? Well, after talking with the owner, it sounds like Review Directory is that review site! Available to product testers and bloggers in the UK, USA, France, germany, Canada, Israel, Spain, and Italy.

However, with this new situation, many brands should start to reconsider this, since it’s the only way to get incentivized reviews when launching new products. Brands with better cash flow won’t be affected by this, but smaller brands will. This does nothing but increase the barrier of entry to anyone who wants to launch a new product in the Amazon ecosystem.

Thrilled to see a new update. I’m considering the upgrade to the LG OLED, but the price for the 65″ model is a bit daunting. Given my room size (small), the 55″ is an option. I recall in the previous incarnation of this article there were some concerns about display quality / panel in the 55″ Vizio P-series sets vs. the 65″ ones, such that you weren’t able to recommend the smaller TVs even though the 65″+ models were excellent.

If you’re like me and do get an opportunity to become a Professional Reviewer TRY to remain honest with the people. If you review NEW Product that’s, “NOT YET READY FOR PRIME TIME.” say so. Both the manufacturers and the customers will be grateful for your honesty. Remember Manufacturers LEARN from their mistakes while customers PAY for theirs.

What I hate is when the public assumes that you give something 5 stars you are a ‘FAKE.’ One thing that needs to be made clear is that a FAKE reviewer, as used in the lawsuits, involved people that were taking money and NEVER SEEING an item, just writing whatever the vendor told them to write! Realize not everyone has the same working definition of “FAKE.” Fake is not the same as compensated or commissioned.

Hey i was wondering if there are any companies that need international testers. I am from India and I’ve searched everywhere but there aren’t any companies that have such a program here and all the international ones have localised their program to UK and US. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

That is a conundrum for sure, and I think Tristan gives a good resolution idea as usual. Considering the problems existing for reveiwers, both those our peers have brought on us, and those sellers bring on us; I’ve concluded that to ever type, like, or in any way give a review or a like for something I didn’t try isn’t acceptable.

I Love to Review (UK) is the sister site to the original USA version. I feel they are the most professional and well-run review site I have ever worked with. They even have an automated review checker so you don’t have to post them to your ILTR account! Only for reviewers in the UK.

try the new site out ReviewMyItem I’ve had very good luck with their offers. there are not too many a week, but when they do send them out they are usually very good offers. I have prime so its great for me

I’ve not, but thanks for the information. It seems to me the best, and most unbiased, straight-forward way to become a reviewer is just as Tristan has described. I’ve always reviewed my products, and admittedly many of mine are very good (I do a TON of research in advance of virtually any purchase, and am happy to report that is the primary reason for so many four star and higher reviews).

Take a look through the list of Amazon’s top reviewers, and create a spreadsheet where you can start logging info about your potential reviewers. You are looking for reviewers who have already reviewed books in your genre, and once you’ve found them, any additional information you can grab about them, including email addresses, and any personal interests.

4.      Reach out to users who reviewed similar products. You can find users who have reviewed products similar to yours (even your competitor’s products) by visiting your product page, going to “Customers Who Bought This Item Also Bought” and “Customers Who Viewed This Item Also Viewed.” These are your competitors, and you could do well simply taking note of them and reading their reviews (paying attention to what they do well and what they fail at), and even checking out their website.

I turned to two sites, Fakespot and ReviewMeta, which use publicly available review metadata and algorithms to try to suss out which reviews are “unreliable” or “unnatural.” The Samcable listing with 673 total reviews got a grade of F from Fakespot, with it declaring that 100 percent of the reviews were “low-quality.” After discarding what its algorithm determined were untrustworthy reviews, it adjusted that 4.6 average rating down to a 0.0 rating. ReviewMeta wasn’t much kinder. The highly rated Samcables went from an average review score of 4.6 to 1.1 using ReviewMeta’s criteria, deeming only 81 reviews out of the 673 not unnatural in some way.

No argument there! I only found it recently, when I was looking at stereo equipment, and trying to get things that were only the specific item, so I took to clicking on all the things trying to find a filter.

I think Amazon should take this review devaluing more seriously! And maybe a few rounds of region-based boycott’s would help them take notice? Instead they dink around w/ taking or giving Prime Benefits or spin off more fee based memberships with new names! Aye! BTW, has anyone made a Hitler reaction video yet?

No. We welcome honest opinion about the product – positive or negative. Of course Vine reviews must conform to all our posting guidelines. Customers can vote on the helpfulness of Vine reviews just like they can for any other review.

Compared to the earlier one, this Honest Society function more as an online community, where members are encouraged to offer their honest and unbiased opinions. “amazon product review website how do you get free products for amazon reviews”

The best way to find UK reviewers is to go to Amazon UK and search for products that are similar to the one(s) you want reviewed. Look for the most recent well-written reviews and click through to their profile pages until you find ones with email addresses listed. Reach out to them that way.

Last May I bought the SB6141. It had 4 stars on Comcast’s old device list and was the # 1 pick here. Its been flawless until about 7 weeks ago. Latency has increased and speeds have slowed down. I just spoke with Comcast they say they’ve EOL’d support for this modem (see here: http://i.imgur.com/8fzh4Gc.png).

I’m finding almost as many paid false negative reviews against competing products on Amazon and other similar shopping sites as I do positive. I no longer bother with reading anything but the 3 star reviews on products I’m considering to purchase.

Was wondering if Vipon (formerly amz review trader) is dead? If you look at their Facebook page a lot of shoppers are not getting any activity, either approvals or denials. I’m one of them. Since there is no way to contact company personnel, we have no way of knowing if amz is no longer doing business (there are still new products being displayed) if they are having technical difficulties. Either way, very annoying.

The best chef knife can’t be defined by a single aspect or even a set of features. It’s really all about hand-feel: The knife you choose should comfortably tackle a variety of tasks in the kitchen and it should ideally function as an extension of your forearm. I used to review products which I sometimes received for free, and my wife has been on a kick lately with these websites which specialize in selling deeply discounted products in exchange for a promise to review it.

I have had a couple companies send me an Amazon gift card that I used to purchase their product. Same benefits as above, with the exception of the first benefit: the reviewer can only use it for your product. They could use it for anything on Amazon since it is just like cash. That would be unethical, but possible.

Yea I agree about product testing usa. It’s kind of wrong to get someone’s hopes up and then to find out your entered in a drawing. And the fact the item you want doesn’t even draw every week maybe like once a month.

Be aware that Amazon is cracking down on these things! We have had several customers who have left reviews that Amazon either chose not to post or pulled down after they were posted. We are talking about verified purchases too! After contacting Amazon, they could not give any real solid answers as to why, and that the customer should contact them directly. They are really difficult to work with as a seller!

It is my understanding that companies offer their items in exchange for reviews because the more reviews you have – good or bad – the higher your product will appear in Amazon search results and this can be important if you really want to get your items in front of shoppers. For instance, I just did a search for “pink shoes” and received 152,080 results. Most people aren’t going to take the time to scan all of those results, so appearing on the first few pages will help the company sell more product.

If the reviewer did not purchase from you, unfortunately there is no way for you to contact him privately. However, it is still possible to leave a comment on Amazon. In fact, Review Central enables you to post a comment for a specific review on Amazon immediately instead of searching and browsing for that reviewed product page on your own.

Take a cool down. Negative reviews can sting, which is why your first step upon receiving a negative Amazon customer review should be to simply step back. Take a day or even several to cool down and then assess the situation with a clear mind. Is there any merit to the review? Maybe this is a clue to how you can improve your product. Is it a pure emotional tirade? Other uses can sense a baseless rant, so while your star ratings may be affected, users who take the time to read your 1-star reviews may see the senselessness of a bad review. If the review is blatantly emotional, these cool down days may be as beneficial for you as for the reviewer – they may be able to realize their earlier review was unreasonable and be open to editing it.

Each of the John Doe defendants has offered, and continues to offer, to create Amazon reviews for $5 or more. Amazon has conducted an extensive investigation of the defendants’ activities on Fiverr, including purchasing “reviews” for products and communicating directly with some of the defendants. Most of the defendants promise  positive or 5-star reviews for Amazon sellers’ products. Indeed, many encourage the Amazon seller to create the text for their own review. For example, Fiverr seller “bess98” in her “I will do, Amazon, Reviews, Amazon, Reviews, for $5” Gig promises to post “awesome review on your amazon product.” Below is a screenshot of bess98’s Amazon review Gig overview, which is typical of the offers on Fiverr to create inauthentic Amazon reviews: 6.

There is a very good reason to suggest that people do NOT use their regular Amazon purchasing e-mail address in their profile. There could be scammers lurking the info pages looking for addresses that they might be able to use to try to get fake orders placed through Amazon.

While soliciting reviews can seem to take a lot of time and effort, their value cannot be underestimated. Reviews immediately add credibility to your book, communicating to potential customers that it is a worthy read. They also improve your book’s ranking when consumers are searching on Amazon, which is the primary reason to stay committed to getting reviews. If you’re able to move your title into earlier search pages, you’ll be discovered by readers who wouldn’t otherwise find you. And that, hopefully, will translate into more book sales.

We then lay out each product grouping in a side-by-side comparison that’s unique to Top Ten Reviews. Of course you can click on each product for a more in-depth look into what sets it apart from the others.

Home Product Testing has a relatively smaller base with only 28,000+ registered product testers. They do have good offers if you are looking for products to use in your kitchen or around your house. It is also possible to try out supplements, fashion accessories, and other items like sleeping bags.

However, Amazon hasn’t stated yet what makes a brand “Vine-worthy” or how to get invited for this program. We could expect this to change in the near future once the interest on the Vine program increases.

While Vine members used to receive a monthly newsletter featuring books and other products they chose from to review — with products valued at anywhere from a few dollars to close to $1,000 — they now have access to a rolling list of items they can order at any time. According to NPR, Vine members cannot sell or give items received through the program away and Amazon can ask for the items back — although they don’t appear to do that.

You can find many items as low as 10 cents. Sometimes, you can even buy something for a penny before shipping. While other review sites have a books category, Jump Send also seems to be one of the few that usually has books available at discounted prices and several free downloadable PDFs.

This has been really helpful to me. I review on Amazon too but not a Vine member. I have always wondered about some of the things that you have shared here. Thanks. I sure hope I get to be a Vine member eventually.

Look at the reviewer’s other reviews, SEE if they don’t blast stuff when it needs it. See if they don’t routinely try to point out problems with items. The public is often quick to say they’d rather see a “FREE” review that is fair and detailed, than an item with no reviews at all. It would be nice if people would SUPPORT helpful reviewers, and review more often themselves. A lot of us will answer questions that are emailed to us, or comments left with questions.

My question is, on my profile should I have it set on “Hide all activity on your profile”? I didn’t want other people/reviewers looking at my reviews to purposely give it a” not helpful” mark. Will this prevent me from receiving offers from sellers? I didn’t see this covered. I appreciate your help.

We currently fully support the US and UK marketplaces with promotions and email campaigns. Jump Send email campaigns are also available for Canada, Mexico, Germany, France, Spain and Italy. More marketplaces are coming soon, we will notify all members when they are available.

As for ProductTestingUSA.com, I did some research and found out it’s a scam. They take your info and sell it to companies that will spam you with offers and junk up your email box. Be careful with that website!

“how to review products on amazon for free _review items on amazon for free”

The book and product reviews on Amazon work the same way. The more reviews that people see for your product, the more likely they are to buy it. It triggers the social proof shortcut for your consumers. “Obviously, many others are buying it, so I will buy it.” Even if it sucks.

I am a product designer and create a new brand in Amazon. I read lots of promotion and started to invest my time and resources however there are millions millions of “case” even though I am offering some designer’s fashion but it will take long long time for my design to surface out, should I need to wait for “step by step” moving or aggressively shift to other less competitive catalogue to start other product design?

The reason for product testing is that Top Name Brands would like to know what consumers think about newest products they’re developing to be sent to stores, but before they do that they need your opinions.  This way, it’ll save them time and money if the product doesn’t do well and need changes.

This is a review program run by Milliard Brands to get reviews for their own line of “bedding, pet supplies, pool items, cleaning products, yoga and fitness equipment, organic teas and nuts, candies, grocery items, and more.” Available for reviewers in USA.

Being an ecommerce business owner requires an adaptable mindset and a can-do attitude. Especially when Amazon change the rulebook. Download this E-book to learn how to launch a product without incentivised reviews.

We’ve already shared some great ways to make money, but this nifty guide will teach you everything you need to know about making money specifically from product testing. From assessing the benefits to finding the best (and legit) sites, we’ve got the essentials covered! Read on…

If you think it’s necessary, you may also ask customers to write a title (or headline), and to provide a broad location (such as a city and/or state). If you want customers to be able to include images or video, use an upload function that you’ve tested on all devices.

The purpose of the Amzrc Amazon product review service is not just to make profit. The concept was inspired by the desire to help people, who need their first push to success. We know, that buyers can be reluctant to buy products from a new seller, this is why they need some encouragement. We are ready to provide it!

Hi Kristin, I replied just above your comment about being careful posting your personal Amazon profile publicly. I understand why you want to do it, I would too if someone had not told me all of the horror stories about things people do with other people’s profiles. Another big problem right now is people stealing other’s reviews, copying and pasting them word for word. Good luck and stay safe, LW

Hi Megan. Truly fantastic advice. In fact could be a great book! 🙂 I have already moved to phase 2 of taking action after reading this pleasurable piece of advice.  Many thanks and may you have a great weekend. Happy Halloween! Greg

I fill out surveys and some leads to testing a product that I get invited to try at home. Some surveys leads to focus groups where me and other people are in a chat room setting discussing different products.

I participate in the Home Depot Seeds Reviewer program as well where you choose 5 items each month (1 of which can be a premium item) and as they randomly come up, bonus campaigns where you may be able to select a single item or multiple items depending on the individual bonus campaign. Items are shipped free to the reviewer address, and I have not come across an item yet that I had to return within the 6 month vendor recall period.

Thank you Tristan, your blog is great and very insightful. It is very helpful for someone like me who is just getting started. I made it onto the top 10000 reviewer list hopefully it helps. I am reviewing for a few companies and love it. Thank you for the tip about the Genesis Reviewer Programs I have contacted a couple of them.

The comments are interesting but most are incorrect if they believe that all discounted reviews are shill. I just received a request from an Amazon partner to do discounted item (for my honest revie). I though,t well if they think they are buying stars from me they are very wrong. I have no incentive to give bad or good reviews artificially. I don’t get anything extra. So people that paint a negative brush are quite wrong. It matters more to me to be honest because I buy items there at full price and don’t want to be fooled. Think about this too. Send it back. It’s easy as that. It’s a pain, but the situation isn’t all fake.. Common sense tells you that Amazon would nosedive.if this was the case.

Childish, my foot. If you don’t think others are jealous of those who get things for free, you have limited knowledge of human nature. No one said the program does not have problems. It’s certainly not a perfect program free of problem reviews. But look at all the non-Vine reviews at Amazon–you think they are all wonderful and honest simply because the reviewer may have paid for the item? No, they are not. Personally, I like to think most readers of reviews are intelligent enough to tell a good review from a bad one; an honest one from a fake one; and who certainly don’t simply look at how many stars the reviewer gave, as opposed to reading the review in a critical manner.

Jungle Launch has an interesting concept where it actually consolidates multiple Amazon sellers in their collective effort to enhance the visibility of their products in the market. This arrangement certainly works well for me as I can be exposed to a great variety of products without going many places to look for them. Again the reward is free products or super fantastic discounts.

As for the second criteria – Amazon looks for your interest and expertise in specific product categories. Anecdotal evidence shows that sticking to one product category, and becoming a recognized and helpful expert in that field gives you a better chance of becoming a Vine member.

I just found this comment in one of the sections of the club site…it is about a seller lamenting the fact that someone bought all of his product, and resold it…As a small business owner, I feel for some of these folks…but if you dance with the devil, you’re bound to get burned.

“Used to order from amazon for years but this past year has been consistently bad and I think I’m done ordering from amazon. No one else has issue that to me. I paid 12 dollars for guaranteed delivery. Call customer service. They send the driver back out several hours later. DRIVER DOES THE SAME THING. they have my number and address, I tell them to call if have any issues. Nothing. Receive notification for fail delivery attempt. Cancel my order because I’ve had enough”

I’ve tried repeatedly to reach out to AMZ Review Trader because I always get a pop up that my URL is already in use.. I don’t share my Amazon account with anyone, and this was my first time trying to sign up (several times), so apparently someone is using my URL. No one is answering my emails, they just have an automated response system that directs you back to the FAQs page because they don’t have enough help to answer the reviewer emails. I have also tried the FB page, nothing. I’ve tried all avenues to get into contact with someone there who may be able to look up my URL in my system and see who’s fraudulently using it. I’ve worked very hard at my reviews, and the thought of someone swiping my URL really, really annoys me.

If anyone is looking for a group to get amazon products for free or deeply discounted go to Reviews4Success.com and they just added a bunch of new products. They are a legit company and if you are a seller you can use them for product promotion.

I actually came across this answer on accident so oddly enough and for the first time might I add I can answer this. 🙂…… This is assuming that the rules are the same in the UK as they are in the US, I can’t imagine why the wouldn’t be, you are allowed to contact the seller directly if you choose. If you do this everything I’ve read said to politely contact and point them to your profile as well as your enthusiasm for helping sell products with integrity and honest reviews. Last but not least sliding in a hint about your “portfolio” of previous reviews can’t hurt…😉

Just as asking for a review as soon as a customer purchases a product isn’t effective, neither it is to take too long to do it. Because of that, I would like to share a 3-email follow-up sequences you can borrow for your own campaigns. Just make sure you modify this structure to suit your own product and company’s message.

There’s always a chance for a scam and websites come and go. With any website, only invest a small amount of money (if any) before you buy a lot of products to sell to make sure you like working with the site and to make sure it isn’t a scam.

How I review is based on my personal experience with the item , value of the product for the price paid ( the listed price , not my discount ), quality of the product and if it really is as its listed . Everything I base my review on is the same as I base my reviews on full price items , I would be lying otherwise and not helping anyone who is really in the market .

I mentioned that an Amazon rep emailed me in response to an issue and told me in the course of our correspondence of the vine club; yet I was told repeatedly that just wasn’t so or possible. How do these people know who has contacted me? They don’t. I actually have the emails saved. Amazon has always had the best customer service or it has been my experience. I never would have believed that they allowed such to go on when they give this link to get help on products etc. Not one conversation I found was about about product. The conversations taking place were about club reviewers and how they would be purged and done away with. Matter of fact, I was told it was coming for me and I would no longer be an Amazon reviewer when Amazon was done with me.

Ciao is one of the biggest paid survey sites, in addition to that Ciao also pays its members to write reviews on verity of subjects, from electronics and CDs to books, restaurants and anything in between. You earn money every time your review is red or rated by other members. Once you have £5 in your account, you can request a payment.

Chattykathy16, I’m not sure how much Amazon is still promoting the Vine Review program. I haven’t received a listening of books from them in over five months. I do know that in order to be considered for the program that you have to write lots of product reviews for the site.

Paid or compensated reviewers are BS. They should ban this. It takes me 5 times longer to research products and more often than not I find myself unhappy with things I bought with 4-5 star reviews. These people need to get a real talent and get off their butts.

Here is what you do: First go to Amazon and locate the gear you are interested in. Then write a quick message to the seller(s) letting them know you are going on a family hiking trip and that you would love to try out their product(s) in exchange for an honest and detailed review. To increase your chance, mention that you will also be open to doing a video review of the product(s). Reviews are everything for Amazon sellers, and some sellers won’t hesitate to give out a few items in exchange for detailed reviews.

Ask. Can’t hurt to ask a Seller of a big ticket item you are interested in to send you a free or discounted product for a review. Give them some added value in that you will do a video review, share it on social media, and even post a review on multiple platforms in addition to Amazon.

There is none that specializes in electronics. Some of them do send you electronics here and there, but I don’t think there is much of a chance to get a phone. Its mainly small electronics like chargers, headphones, etc.

Thank you for sharing these many great opinions. Wanted to share some of my story. I started my e-business 6 months ago, I have my own e-commerce website KelementStore.com, as well as Amazon marketplace store, tried many marketing strategies to promote my own website, such as Google AdWords, social media, referral program, only to realize only Amazon can move some quantity, even when I didn’t do any marketing on Amazon (not eligible as a new Amazon seller). I’m very grateful for the initial 5 star reviews I got, those genuine words quickly brought in sales. Then when the sales grow, bad customers come up, they didn’t like the product or there were misunderstanding, and these people refuse to communicate, just threw you bad reviews. I’ve consulted Amazon customer service on how to deal with such unfair situation, Amazon only removed a couple that violates their review/feedback guideline. Just like we would meet mean people in real life, they exist on the Internet too. I agree with Megan that the best thing to do in such situation is to get more positive reviews to bury the bad ones, but once there’s a bad one, your sales drop, and you seemed to have to search for paid reviews, but will also worry about being caught by Amazon. It’s a painful dilemma, I’m still struggling on the decisions and looking for good reviewers. I become a more active and positive reviewer now, since I know how hard and important it is to maintain a good reputation. Hope the same for every other sellers.

I hope you did what Tristan said! That was some good advice lol. I had a similar situation recently. My husband generally has a beard. He’ll shave in the summer sometimes, but he has facial hair. I was asked to review some “beard oil”, and jumped on it. I left the house to run errands, and called the hubby several hours later to chat. I mentioned to him over the phone that I’d gotten the beard oil for him to try, and he made a kind of strangled sound. He’d decided to shave. We laughed, and planned to just return the item at our own cost because crap happens. But I got lucky and have a teenager trying to grow out his facial hair. I also checked other ways to use the oil, and tried it as a moisturizer on my own skin.

Overall, it’s a great game for a 9 year old kid. Some people think the game is shallow and have all sorts of critiques, but my son thinks it is fun and I think the concept of the game is cute. I don’t really care about DRM issues in general because I had only planned for my son to use it on his computer; however, with EA’s history of customer service and the suspected hacking of their key codes, it does become a problem.

Jump Send helps me to grow my business without spending hours on tedious tasks. The time I save is worth the investment alone, but what’s even better is that it also has a profound impact on increasing my sales!

I filled out so many testing item surveys it’s not funny. It’s been s few months and I don’t even get any emails for anything related to the site. It’s not worth it. I also did the surveys for offer bucks.com and you have to have all 10 validated before you get your $100, I have only had one validated and it’s been months. I emailed them twice and never got a response. Don’t waste your time like I did.

I am sorry I above written a long comment. I just would never want anyone to feel like I was made feel tonight just for asking a few polite questions as well as thanking in advance for answers. I also asked why you needed review votes. I have never asked anyone to do that as I didn’t know what it meant for one to want that. I just have enjoyed being able to get products I like or wanted to try at a lower price. I was then made fun of by what they call their group cabal has arrived and told I didn’t need to concern myself with that as I would be purged from Amazon. The vine were the only honest reviewers. Well pardon me if I think you are getting free items or discounted items for reviews. So why are they better than others. How do we know they are honest. I reviewed my products long before I ever heard of a review club. I do so thank you for posting this and not being condemning but you are offering help and tips those who are just trying to enjoy a little life. God bless.

Hi. I published my book “The Hidden Eagles” with A https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/d12abf7795140be2aa687479e5b375ff624513524c63ac27bd661e3ec623d4e5.jpg mazon last year. I’m trying to get in touch with these reviewers, but don’t see any contact information on the reviewers list. How do I contact them? My book deals with the way we see the american military establishment in Latin America, specificaly in my country of Panama. The message of this book is to make people realize that americans are not just soldiers carrying guns. Thank you.

Since I wrote my answer many things have changed. Over a year ago Amazon changed the reviewer rules. You no longer required to leave a review for a product you get for a reduced price. You can only leave about 4 reviews a month for things purchased at a reduced price. AMaxon rejects so many reviews especially bad reviews now. And because they can no longer require you to leave a review, the merchandise is no longer free and is not discounted as much. I was always a truthful reviewer. I told it like it was. But I stopped because it is no longer worth it.

I live in Canada, read many reviews and have written a few for different products. If I had been aware of the Vine program (and was eligible) I would have written reviews for all the items I own that are available on Amazon.

I just wanted to ask you a question about the l oreal product testing. Do you need to pay taxes on the gifts or products they send you? I recently moved to the US and I have no idea how the system works.

AMZBlitz is a new Amazon product testing program offering very deep discounts on Amazon products that you can test and keep. It’s so new that details of the program are very limited. Available for shoppers in USA.

Amazon product review software places your feedback and product review requests on auto-pilot with professionally written messages, delivered to the right customers, at the right time for the right products.

I know this list can be overwhelming, but you can start from the beginning and work your way down. The more panels you join the more chances at getting products to test, plus you can make money too with these panels.

As for being attacked, don’t write your review with that fear in mind. You are supposed to be writing for the customer in mind. I wrote a negative review about some probiotics once, and it gets more up-votes than any other product I reviewed recently. I still get asked to review probiotics (which I don’t accept anymore.)

I just started researching this to try out, I have never done this before. My question is I already have an Amazon prime account. Does this mean I have to use the email attached to prime account, or can I start a new email, like you suggested to have a dedicated email, for this review endeavor? Please let me know how I should do this. I rather open up a new email account so it’s separate from the one I use for my kids school, doctors, and personal things. Thank you in advance for your help.

An avid fan of the original E.V.O. Search For Eden, Spore is a wonderful game, that just doesn’t work well for later models of Windows unfortunately. Despite filtering through forums for solutions, nothing ever let me play this game again.

I can 100% guarantee you that BzzAgent does *not* pay you. They never have. I think you might be confusing them with another company. BzzAgent will award MyPoints for surveys and some activities, however.

This is the online guerrilla marketing method of PR. There is a unique benefit of getting product reviews from other websites that helps increase brand credibility and trustworthiness in addition to word-of-mouth marketing.

Through my struggles to find reviewers’ contact info on Amazon, I am going to show you how to make a better Amazon profile, one that helps the supplier choose you over others to try and review their products. This is not a guarantee that you will ever be asked to try a product, but a way that can vastly improve your chances of being asked.

KabelDireckt is open to the U.S. marketplace and several European marketplaces. Like EtekCitizen, the product offerings here are for only one brand, KabelDireckt. Their catalog is very slim as they specialize in computer cables. If you want to try one for free and are willing to write a review, this can be a good option to save a few bucks.

Most of these have deteriorated over the past year from offering high quality items for review into a dumping ground for sellers seeking to score more attention for their dubious supplements, cheap electronics accessories, Chinese-made “dollar store” type goods, and more recently adult “novelties.”

Survey Club is another great, well-trusted panel I get quite a few products to test a month with good pay; they’re very well rated company and been around for years!  Very fun panel to join!  💰 Pays by Cash and Gift Cards

One fatal flaw in *any* commentary on items that are purchased vs. items that are offered in exchange for review is that it assumes a higher quality review will come from someone who has paid. Some of the worst reviews come from people who bought products because they felt no obligation to really test them, but rated them based on something trivial such as the product not being the size they wanted or lacking a feature they wanted even though it was never advertised as having that feature and measurements were given clearly. People review DVDs not based on the media, packaging, or value, but on how well they liked the content and wanting to promote their favorite program.

Does that unfairly skew star ratings however? Probably, and maybe there’s an opportunity there for something like an extension to provide a weighted score by scanning for discount review disclaimers. I think there is real value for everyone in these types of reviews when they’re done right so as to minimize influencing the reviewer as much as possible, although it may be more qualitative than quantitative.

Are there certain types of products that are more likely to have fake reviews than others? Seems like cheap electronics might be one. But I would be surprised if books have many fake reviews. Do you have any info on that?

You are in no way obligated to give them a ‘good’ review, as you know. My advice is to simply respond with “I would love to review this, thanks!” After you get the product, feel free to send them feedback about asking you to write a ‘good’ review. Again, in my experience, no Seller has ever responded to my critiques of their emails. Which is why I wrote a blog post on the subject of writing better emails to Reviewers.
