Hi Louida, I’m in the process of checking the companies that you have posted here. And I’m interested in Pinecone Research, which is by referral. Can you refer me? My email email@example.com. Thank you
UPDATED! Looks like this site got a major design make-over. If you like “I Love to Review”, then I think you may enjoy this site. Reason is that it appears they are taking a lot of notes from the way ILTR works, which is a good thing. Available for reviewers in USA.
I do NOT contact companies before I write a bad review about a product. There was one time where I wrote a bad review about some earphones and the company sent out another set because they thought mine were faulty. Second set worked better, so I amended my review. I also once got asked to take down a bad review stating ‘I did not know how to use the product’ (they were ear buds.) I do not take do reviews, only amend them.
Scott, I am not sure about Product Testing USA. To me it doesn’t look like a real product testing site. I get the feeling it is more of a “feel out a survey for us and you may be chosen to test a product” kind of site. So, if you are looking for real product testing, stick with the sites mentioned in this post, or other legit companies. Hope that helps.
This is due to a combination of factors – the fact that the vendor or seller has likely sought out those reviewers who are less critical, and the fact that reviewers may believe they would no longer have the opportunity to receive these sorts of offers, if they chose to say negative things.
There is a separate forum for sellers. Go to top reviewer forums, or any other forum from the main amazon site (not seller side) – they’re all called “customer forums” for one thing, but you will see it is all customers.
I don’t think reviewer ranks plays a heavy role. Maybe some companies think top reviewers are better. But the fact that there are so few reviewers on Amazon with contact info leads me to believe that profiles that have recent activity and at least a handful of well-written reviews are good candidates for companies to reach out to.
“I have been using Amazon feedback software, FeedbackExpress, for a month now and without question, my seller metrics are improving. The carefully worded emails they have produced are without question getting more customers to leave positive feedback and product reviews.”
Love your help. First day and already receiving first item to test. Check out freakyfreddies.com its not a survey site but has links to free samples. Some are legit and have got several items from there. It’s worth a try!
The products on display at Elf is impressive (perhaps only second to AMZ) and they do an amazing job to keep their website updated almost on daily basis (so the freshness is always there – in term of product variation and look and feel of the web page).
The Result? Online reviewers, journalists, bloggers, and podcasters meet product promoters, marketers, public relations, and publicity pros, to help each other find new products and review them online. Hopefully this now includes you, too!
