Trek to Teach is a nonprofit organization that sends fluent English speakers to teach in Nepal near the Himalayas. In addition to teaching, Trek to Teach strengthens local communities by helping schools build infrastructure, paint their classrooms, and find furniture.
They’re looking for bloggers, website owners, online publishers, journalists, YouTubers, Amazon reviewers (Vine), Yelpers, podcast show hosts, and other reviewers worldwide. They fill out our easy Product Offer Form (HERE). Then we publish their requests for reviews in our free email newsletters.
It is hard to say without knowing their techniques. The problem with this task is that there is often no hard proof that the detection is actually correct unless the author of the actual fake reviews (not made up fake reviews) from a review hosting site confirms it. Of course, it is easier if the company actually hosts reviews (e.g., Amazon or Yelp) because they can analyze the public information that the general public can see and also (more importantly) their internal data which tracks all the activities after a person comes to the website. A lot of unusual behaviors can be detected. Unfortunately, such data is not available to people outside the site.
With testing products it all depends on what demographic the company is looking for and they’ll send you a survey to complete to see if you qualify. Don’t expect to get a whole lot of products to test every month but if you stick to completing surveys all the time then you’ll start noticing product testing surveys to pop up in your email box quite a bit.
Any tool that allows me to grow my business, instead of managing the repetitive minutiae, is a worthwhile investment. An added bonus is how I can also make additional sales through Jump Send using their deals platform.
I know, I know….I should just type and not bother with any edits until I finish completely. But I’m a little OCD, and as soon as an error pops up I have to fix it. I’ve gone back and forth with editors, professors, up to and including my wife! But it’s just me, as my compulsion forces me to fix edits as I go. Grammarly has been very helpful, working along with me, together merrily Fixing edits as we go and keeping my blood pressure down!
If you want to add more emails to your email sequence, you can do it. However, I wouldn’t recommend it, because that could be considered both spammy for Amazon and annoying for your customers. Also, if you combine marketing inserts with email follow-up sequences, the chances of getting more reviews will considerably increase.
At No Kidding Coupon, my coupon to get a product did not work on amazon. I also was unable to reset my password when I had trouble logging into their site. Their Facebook page doesnt have activity since 2014 but I did post a question there anyway hoping to get a reply.
This review program is part of the GMYLE brand, “developing MacBook, Tablet, Smartphone Accessories.” Like similar programs, they only offer their own brand’s products for review. When applying: Reviewers in “United States will receive first round pick. United Kingdom, Germany, Japan, France, Italy and Spain will become available after.”
Books definitely have fake reviews. I know, because I’m the assistant to an author, and it is ridiculously difficult to get real reviews. So when you see a LOT of them, you can pretty much bet the majority are fake. Fan letters can flood in via email, but just try and get those very same fans to post reviews on Amazon. They just can’t be bothered. (It would be great if Amazon offered discounts or something to incentivize real reviewers.)
One Opinion Panel is a Top Rated Product Testing Company and I receive several products a month. They have exclusive high paying focus groups to join paying their members $100 or more! 💰 Pays by Cash, PayPal and Visa Prepaid Cards
FeedbackFive now has a great way for Amazon sellers to manage product reviews for their preferred ASINs. Product reviews are one of the most powerful markers of a product’s success. Now FeedbackFive users have an easy way not only to solicit reviews, but also to track them and (in the case of a negative review) respond in a timely manner. This is a feature that has been highly requested by our sellers, and we’re excited to announce it.
Amazon Vine is an invitation-only program. Vine Voices are selected based on several criteria, but primarily on the helpfulness of their reviews as judged by all other customers and by their demonstrated interest in the types of products that are featured in the program. Customers who consistently write helpful reviews and develop a reputation for expertise in specific product categories are most likely to be invited into the program.
Contact those who leave you negative reviews. Ignoring these won’t make them go away. Try to respond to negative reviews, especially if you think the reviewer is justified in their complaint or other customers have complained about the same issue. Take this opportunity to learn from your clients and improve your business.
The process to claim coupon codes is different than other sites. It is free to join the Buyers Club and you get 200 credits that can be redeemed for two coupons (i.e. 100 credits equal one coupon code). Leaving reviews allows you to get more credits.
It’s tough making your living online – the web has a way of bringing out the worst in people as many users hide under the internet’s veil of anonymity to spread slander they’d never dream of voicing IRL. It’s not a matter of if you’ll ever get a bad review – it’s just a matter of when.

To recommend your products, I need to know you can appreciate the fact ethically I have limits I’m not willing to break, regardless of the fact Amazon has specifically banned this practice and my doing what you ask could get us both in trouble. Honestly, I have a feeling that eventually, someone you send this to will report you.
Look at the reviewer’s other reviews, SEE if they don’t blast stuff when it needs it. See if they don’t routinely try to point out problems with items. The public is often quick to say they’d rather see a “FREE” review that is fair and detailed, than an item with no reviews at all. It would be nice if people would SUPPORT helpful reviewers, and review more often themselves. A lot of us will answer questions that are emailed to us, or comments left with questions.
Also, they asked me to check some of the existing reviews, and to click that one helped me. They suggested the video review that was included, but said I could choose any one that I liked. I did click and choose to say the video review helped me, because it’s a solid review and it did a great job of showcasing the product features. But the whole thing just seemed different than what I expected.
Great article, but I did not set up reviews as all my items are one of a kind antique etc and when it is sold it is removed is there a way to set up reviews for the store or web site? Any suggestions?
It’s more complicated than that. Amazon doesn’t ship everything themselves, so you have to deal with shipping from potentially multiple marketplace sellers. You can post feedback about that in the seller feedback, but I doubt many people read that.
They are another recently launched site with a large marketplace of discounted products: lots of electronics, as well as watches, apparel, toys, kitchen/BBQ, pet supplies, hand bags, leisure, personal grooming items and more. Available for reviewers in USA.
While you want to keep those review forms as short as possible, consider any vital information others need to make an educated buying decision. A fashion store may want to ask if a product fits “true to size” or not. A photography store can benefit from knowing if the reviewer is an amateur or professional.
Shvoong is a kind of get paid to review site, where you can make money by writing reviews on written publications such as books, magazines, e-books, websites and etc. The reviews are written as brief summaries so that the readers can quickly get the information they need and move on. Shvoong earns money from the advertisement displayed through out the site, which in return for your reviews, they will share 10% of the total revenue earned from ads displayed next to your reviews. When you have $10 in your account, you can request a payment which will be paid on the 5th day of every month.
Hi we’ve been running some experiments with different shipping price points to see how much free shipping vs cheap shipping vs “at cost” shipping effects conversion rate once a product has been added to cart.
