UK based sellers on Amazon UK seem to be way behind U.S. and Chinese sellers as they likely don’t realize that they can send their products to reviewers in exchange for reviews. From all the products he reviews, only 0.5-1.0% are UK-based.
Thanks for your reply. It seems the UK are sooooooo far behind the USA, it’s crazy. I lived in America for 3 years, wish I would of known about all this back then instead of spending half my time couponing lol (which I have to admit, I loved). I will check out that link too. Thanks 🙂
The Vine program, and similar methods of eliciting feedback, give away products for free (or sell them at a deep discount) to potential customers vetted (by Amazon in the case of the Vine program) for the helpfulness of their reviews, in exchange for an “honest review.” While these sorts of reviews are far more ethical than paid-for reviews, they can also be a little problematic. Even if the way the review was obtained is disclosed on product pages, several aspects of the purchasing process don’t get considered as part of these programs.
In a statement to Select All, Amazon said: “Amazon is investing heavily to detect and prevent inauthentic reviews. These reviews make up a tiny percentage of all reviews on Amazon but even one is unacceptable. In addition to advance detection, we’ve filed lawsuits against more than 1,000 defendants for reviews abuse and will continue to pursue legal action against the root cause of reviews abuse as well as the number of individuals and organizations who supply fraudulent reviews in exchange for compensation. Customer reviews are one of the most valuable tools we offer for making informed purchase decisions and we work hard to make sure they are doing their job.”
CR tests showed two-thirds of seat belts failed basic safety and durability tests, leading CR to call for better belts and for federal standards that incorporated crash testing. The government later mandated them.
Hi Lou:) Congratulations and continued $ucce$$ with your blog site. It is absolutely awesome!:) Ive been doing product reviews online at Amazon and a few at my wordpress site (firstname.lastname@example.org) with the hope of finding a way to earn while I write. I have already reviewed the good paying product companies and see that you have endorsed them. Good minds think alike:)) I am still deciding which one works for me and hope to enjoy what I love doing most, that is, besides dancing (Astaire) which also takes top priority, of course:)) That said, again many thanks and hope to share some good news soon. Be well and God bless….lilvix811 (Lori B)
No. We welcome honest opinion about the product – positive or negative. Of course Vine reviews must conform to all our posting guidelines. Customers can vote on the helpfulness of Vine reviews just like they can for any other review.
Reviews can also help you better understand your products. You can spend hours using a product, but chances are customers will notice things you never would. That means your customers can give you great feedback, ideas for improvements, or even incredible marketing ideas!
I have 390 organic reviews in almost 2 years of selling only one product and my business was doing great on Amazon until some new kid on the block came up with over 300 unverified 5 stars reviews in one month to advertise a product similar to mine. I contacted Amazon to complain and the answer was: Anyone who has purchased $50 or more can post a review of any product. Seriously?! Totally dishonest, and deceptive. The story is that now my sales have dropped more than 50% thanks to the Amazon algorithms that show the other product first and although mine has 4 Stars reviews all organic vs 5-Stars from the competition, anyone will think the other product is better because of the reviews (fake reviews). I’m hating Amazon now. If anyone can guide to the company that can get me unverified reviews, I will greatly appreciate it.
product testing usa swnr me a tfal opti grill that is the only thing i have bewn able to testfor them they randomly select 1 tester for each item. its like a 1 out of a million chance u get something i was lucky
Write your message. You can say something like “Hi, my name is XXXX. I really enjoy doing product reviews for seller’s and I would be happy to provide an honest review in exchange for a free product. Here’s a link to my Amazon profile (your link goes here) and here are a few reviews I’ve recently done (include the permalink to the reviews, if you have any).”
Sounds about right (par for the course). Get an listed telephone number and then use the old one solely as an Amazon dedicated line, if the additional expense isn’t prohibitive. Also, naturally, now the vendor will start retaliating by “negging” your other reviews (happens all the time).
Just as you can buy almost anything on Amazon, it is also possible to get almost anything for free or nearly free. Whether you want to join a program with flexible shopping options or only want to join one that offers products for one particular brand, there is an Amazon review site for you.
We identify the writer as either a verified purchaser or un-verified purchaser. This aligns with normal ecommerce practices to capture the user ID of the person who writes the review and provides for better authoring, and discourages bad behavior.
One downside here is that they tend to mix it up here! Sometimes you find fabulous deals that save you a lot but there are also lots of what I call cheap deals. I mean, 50% off is great but then it is not great saving when you apply them to those that cost little (like 5 bucks) in the first place.
Snagshout is one of the most popular review sites because you can theoretically test one new product every day when you redeem a “snag.” You get a new snag every three days and can accumulate up to five snags at once. They will send you a regular newsletter to make it easier to find
Stay alert about negative reviews that are published about your business. Automated email notification helps increase your respond time to customer complaints, so you are in a better position to resolve product issues.
I am signed up with a few different places. Loreal is good. you get a nice gift bag with full size products worth over $100. I go to their Clark,NJ location. also CRL in Piscataway,NJ. good studies there too. Coty in Morris Plains,NJ. doing two now. will get paid $100 for one and $30 for the other next week in cash. not bad. Revlon in Edison NJ too.
When we say that we will get you a product review on social media, we mean it. We will research your product features in order to give them most relevant and accurate description. We do not tolerate clichés and carelessness! Neither you, nor your buyers will be disappointed.
I’ve heard of Houseparty.com and forgot to mention them on this post, adding now. Even though they don’t pay it’s still great to get all the free stuff and have a get together at your house. Thanks girl!
With products in hand, our reviewers begin the meticulous review process, which includes using most products just as you would. This ensures we’re able to identify and communicate each product’s strengths and weaknesses in a way that makes sense to you.
The process to claim coupon codes is different than other sites. It is free to join the Buyers Club and you get 200 credits that can be redeemed for two coupons (i.e. 100 credits equal one coupon code). Leaving reviews allows you to get more credits.
I recently signed up with Elite Deal Club. Basically you can get free/ deeply discounted products in exchange for an honest unbiased review on Amazon. I don’t think it would be worth it if you don’t have Amazon prime, since you would have to pay shipping. I have gotten 18 products so far. Totally worth it!!!
There is also a new site that offers products to Amazon reviewers. good if you have prime. It is called Reviewmyitem.com I have not received too many offers from them, but the ones i do receive were very good offers.
One of the more famous Amazon products to receive an onslaught of hilarious reviews is this gallon of Tuscan Whole Milk. In fact, the initial spate of sarcastic reviews that accompanied this product listing became so well-known that it even became the topic of a 2006 New York Times article.
We want the Voice program to reflect the best of our growing body of customer reviewers. We invite reviewers to participate in the Vine program based on feedback from other customers. A reviewer’s rank is determined by the overall helpfulness of all their reviews, factoring in the number of reviews they have written. More weight is given to recent reviews. For more information on how reviewer rankings are determined, please visit How Ranking Works. Ultimately, Vine Voices become eligible based on the value and trust other Amazon.com customers place in the Voices’ ability to provide helpful and insightful reviews. In addition to the reviewer rank, we also weigh customers’ demonstrated interest in products similar to those enrolled in the Vine program. This facilitates product reviews by people who are familiar with the category they belong to. For example if a Vine Voice mostly purchases and/or reviews home and garden products, it is more likely they will be offered similar products.

I am a voracious reader and often read 2-3 novels and non-fiction per week. However, I don’t care too much for sci-fi and when I discovered Wool, I was concerned if it would appeal to a person who isn’t typically interested in sci-fi. The book was at the time the #1 ranked purchase on Kindle and had been downloaded almost double as many times as its nearest competitor. Thusly, I ordered and read the book despite the fact in all the reviews I couldn’t find one mention of anyone enjoying it despite not typically reading sci-fi.
On a regular basis I received from the Seller Home Town message announcing that the pick-up for return and refund will be organised soon (in the next 24 hours, then in the next 48 hours, then in the next 72 hours).
Hey Guys, I found a site better than most of the sites listed here. Same discount exchange for honest review concept. They have thousands of goodies online, and seems they always send you the promo code right away. Good for starter like me. It is very difficult to get a code from Amzreviewtrader.
Hey I just stumbled upon your page and you have some good freebie sites. My question is I signed up for the L’oreal product testing, and once I enter all my information it redirects me to the sign in page. They mention I need my tester ID and password though I don’t get an email. I did it twice. any suggestions?
