I noticed you recently reviewed [other company’s product]. I’m a seller in a similar category and have just brought to market a set of [their product] in bright and fun colors that I would love to offer you for free in return for a totally honest review.
Of course I would not be getting paid to review products, and certainly this big player’s lawyers have determined that this is not in violation of the this big player’s Amazon reviews for free/discounted products contract terms. So participating in this favorable or unfavorable for the review community?
I signed up for snagshout yesterday and was able to snag 2 deals the same day. At first it said my limit was 1, but after I entered my amazon profile url and snagged my first item it told me my limit had increased to 2, so I snagged another. It said I’ve earned a “helpful” badge, based on the helpful votes on reviews I had previously written. I should receive both items in the next day or 2,with prime.
One advantage to shopping on Vipon is that you can apply to try 20 products at once. The downside is that each individual merchant must approve your request. Many other review sites treat deals as “first come first serve” with instant approval. You might be approved by the next business day or it can take several weeks.
According to Amazon, “Vine is an invitation-only program. All Vine products are submitted by vendors to Amazon and distributed by Amazon to the Vine Voices. Vendors have no contact with the Vine Voices, and have no influence over which Vine Voices will review their products.”

In addition to managing feedback, FeedbackFive allows merchants to manage Amazon Product Reviews. Sellers can build custom solicitation rules using our Email Campaign feature. Merchants can even upload a list of ASINs that they wish to track. Receive real-time email alerts to be notified of new reviews.
Filling out your profile is one thing, optimizing it so suppliers can get a sense of who you are and easily contact you is another. The Amazon profile in use today has a space for “pen name”, signature, location, email, website, occupation, About Me, and Interests. None of this except your ‘pen name’ is required to be filled out, though the more you fill out the more optimal your profile will be to suppliers looking for people to review their products.
I recently signed up with Elite Deal Club. Basically you can get free/ deeply discounted products in exchange for an honest unbiased review on Amazon. I don’t think it would be worth it if you don’t have Amazon prime, since you would have to pay shipping. I have gotten 18 products so far. Totally worth it!!!

Although, in theory, these reviewers could write their true opinion on the product – positive or negative – these incentivized reviews have tended to be overwhelmingly biased in favor of the product being rated.
I do the same thing, I’ll generally look at the 3 Star Reviews as well, those people seem to be most critical about the product. “It is good, but…” are my favorite ones because they point out parts or issues of the product you don’t think of.
The site positions itself as a professional review panel. They very likely are interested if you are some kind of publisher, experienced product reviewer, social media influencer, or blogger. You state your interest in the site and their marketing experts will contact you, subject to their screening and scrutiny.
I have managed to review and get some of the “not so mainstream” products here. This practice is a departure of other review web sites that so incline to push the usual types of merchandise before you. And they are big on supplements as well.
I’ve been successful in more than a few cases sending a nice email to some top reviewers, and in those instances received not only favorable reviews, but gained a fan for my books and a good network connection. I think it’s important to build relationships like that.
(3) If you start the game and only get a black screen with a big blue cursor (sometimes I got music in the background, but I usually didn’t), this doesn’t appear to be a video compatibility issue, at least in our case. Once you get the Spore cursor on your screen, click command-Q. This will take you out of the game and give you a message that you must quit from inside the game. Click OK and then it takes you back to the game, but now you can see/hear everything. Odd, but it works – and it needs to be done every time you start the game.
Amazon (AMZN) this week said it will ban “incentivized” reviews, or product ratings that are provided in exchange for a free or discounted product. The ban comes after the company already took steps against phony paid reviews, with mixed results. Even after legal action from Amazon last year, fake reviews continued to proliferate on the site.
Influenster: Influenster is looking for social media influencers to spread the word about products that range anywhere from single cup coffee makers to the newest cosmetics. You can get one item to review or a box of products to review.
By the way, I would disagree with the “Vipon is dead” posted above. It’s not like it used to be but I still get a few products there. I’ve got 10-12 from them over the past month. Their site is down this weekend while they move to new servers and update the site.
Vindale Research is not a get paid to review site per se, but in a sense you do make money by sharing your opinion and ideas about products and services you use in your daily life. They pay up to $75 per survey/review. If you sign up with just one site, I would highly recommend you sign up with Vindale.
I will bend over backward to find positive things to say about it, and I will paint it as positively as I possibly can. But if it’s less than quality, I’d rather commit to provide you feedback to that extent directly. And simply not say anything publicly. Is that okay?
1. IF you do get an opportunity to become a Professional Reviewer (for ANYONE), SAVE COPIES OF ALL CORRESPONDENCE (BOTH TO AND FROM EVERYONE) in a DEDICATED FOLDER (DIRECTORY) such as one Directory for NewEgg, one for Amazon and so on and so forth. This will make finding a particular message MUCH easier AND FASTER.
“Before I begin my review on this product, let me set the record straight on something. NewEgg DOES NOT PAY their Eggxpert Reviewers ANY MONEY for a review (GOOD OR BAD – ON ANY PRODUCT)!!! When they 1st asked me to become a reviewer, they told me that I could post ANY TYPE of review that I wanted to, either GOOD OR BAD! The only thing that they asked me to do was to be honest in my review, which I try to be. Now that this is finished, let’s start…”
However, sometimes their deals tend to vary. They had some spatulas on sale for $6 dollars, which I didn’t consider to be a very good deal. I could’ve gotten the same thing on another page almost for free.
This was also a decision has hit the private label community like a sledgehammer. “Now what?” is the question you see most often around the different Amazon private label Facebook groups. The number one trick that most private labelers used to increase their sales velocity and trust is gone.
As the name implies, the focus is on Toilet Tree products. At the point of writing, they claim that their membership number is adequate and not looking out for more. But they use to recruit new members on weekly basis. So just fill out the form and they will get in touch if they see you as a good addition to their pool of members.
Here are some tips for installing and starting the game that, after an unsuccessful install attempt, took me a while to find through searching multiple forums: (this is based on installing to a newer version of a MacBook Pro)
