“amazon product review vs seller feedback _amazon product review plugin”

This site has one of the largest public marketplaces I have ever seen on a review site! Lots of ladies fashion, phone accessories, cables, umbrellas, jewelry, and toys (at time of writing.) Available to reviewers in USA.

Once have framed and asked for the review and created the URL for them to leave that review, you need to design the marketing insert. This shouldn’t be too hard nor too complicated if you have a designer in your team. But even if you don’t, you should try to make it as simple as possible, as long as your branding doesn’t get affected.

It’s worth noting at this stage that not every user of product testing sites gets sent something to test. This is because there are 1000s of users and they simply can’t afford to send out 1000+ free TVs for example. But they do say, if you don’t buy a ticket you can’t win the raffle…

I do NOT contact companies before I write a bad review about a product. There was one time where I wrote a bad review about some earphones and the company sent out another set because they thought mine were faulty. Second set worked better, so I amended my review. I also once got asked to take down a bad review stating ‘I did not know how to use the product’ (they were ear buds.) I do not take do reviews, only amend them.

If you need to contact Amazon about a review, you should email review-appeals@amazon.com with the order number and your profile link. That email is manned by real people who focus on nothing but reviews, and is much safer than just calling or emailing them through the website.

Have an Amazon account with preferably a Prime membership. Prime is not required but if you plan on doing reviews regularly, you may want to consider getting a membership so you won’t have to pay shipping. The majority of review items offered qualify for free Prime shipping. Without Prime, you’ll have to pay between $4-$6 for shipping on each item. You can sign up for a Free 30-day Prime trial but remember to cancel before the trial is up or you will be charged the full membership price ($99) or you can opt for monthly payments of $10.99.

Stay alert about negative reviews that are published about your business. Automated email notification helps increase your respond time to customer complaints, so you are in a better position to resolve product issues.

Hi,I agree with you, because I am a seller on amazon,I do not want to spent more money to get review like you say,my items are all in high quality, but,no review no orders, especially good review.I hope all reviewers review honestly,but…………..

Posted a bad review once and the company offered me 20% back, but only if I removed the review, no mention of fixing the issue lol. I contacted Amazon to say they had tried to bribe me and Amazon didnt want to know. A few days after their 20% offer they phoned me at home, I hadnt given them my number and saw no reason for them to have it, guy was really creepy and kept asking what I did want for removing the review, at the end he got racist and hung up. I sent a recording of the phonecall to Amazon and once again, they didnt want to know.

Getting free products in exchange for reviews is very tempting. But be aware that these sites were created for the benefit of the sellers and not the customers. These sellers are giving you free or deeply-discounted product and EXPECT a four or five-star review. This is a form of “review manipulation and can get your account banned from Amazon and all the reviews deleted, including the reviews that were rightfully purchased before joining the review clubs. Regardless of what these review clubs say, all rules MUST comply with Amazon’s Terms of Services (ToS). You can not get any monetary feedback in any way, not by reselling or blogging for profit. Too many reviewers have had their accounts terminated for violating Amazon’s ToS and then try to find out why and are not told by Amazon. Amazon is cracking down on these reviews and it’s the reviewers who get hit first before the sites are shut down. So join these with caution.

Now, the companies you have listed gives out free products in return for a review so you can help them market their brand. These products you are reviewing is already in stores so all the companies need from you is a review.

Vipon offers a variety of products for 50% to 100% off and is also one of the oldest review sites. They were previously known as AMZ Review Trader. It is free to join and a great option if you want to test several products at once.

On behalf of Giveaway Service Team, I wish to thank you for writing such a positive comment about us. I would also like to point out that the discounted price on our website must not exceed $2. This means authors review products they got for free or at a highly discounted price.

Hi Tristan. Great information! I just wanted to underscore a sentence you wrote above regarding receiving payment post-review (I work in an industry where the payment based upon success of the product is frowned upon/illegal/immoral as well). As you point out, this is so important: “It’s payment for review (a gray area, or flat out forbidding), and open for being taken advantage of by the person requesting the review.” Again, great article and advice within the comment section. BTW, No, Tristan did not pay me for this comment!

Be constructive with your review: each negative mark should have a recommendation of how to improve it. No one likes a reviewer that just hammers away at a book/product without suggestions to improve it.

What I do care about re:reviews is that while you may be as good as gold, there is an unfortunate connotation that if someone gets something for free that there might be a tendency to review less harshly. When it’s your money on the line you get more annoyed if something isn’t up to snuff. That’s a tendency.

Do you think this is okay for me to say? I don’t want to blow my first shot at a review, but I don’t want to commit to misleading anyone either. Fortunately, the product has a bunch of good reviews as of now, and it’s inexpensive. So for the price, I’m sure there will be redeeming qualities. But still….

True. Being able to contact a Seller directly without having bought from them first—or they having reached out to you to review—makes it much more difficult. For larger name brands that have websites, a simple Google search might suffice. But what about the smaller Sellers? I don’t have an answer there. At one time I used to see a “Contact Seller” button on some product detail pages. I’m not seeing that anymore.

You won’t find a selection of products by going to their site, but rather a landing page that’s only used for registering a new account. They are a bit more strict in their process for giving out discounts.

The Vanguard VIP Product Tester program is looking for photographers to give honest, unbiased feedback and share reviews for their binoculars and spotting scopes, tripods, camera bags, riflescopes and outdoor packs. Available for product testers in USA.

We can all agree these 3 tactics aren’t as easy to implement, nor as effective as the previously incentivized reviews. But one thing is guaranteed: everyone in this business will be positively affected.

Trust Review Network has some enticing offers on their homepage. You can buy valuable items like unlocked smartphones, laptops, and mini espresso machines for pennies on the dollar. In regards to the smartphones, the normal retail price is $179.99 and they can be purchased for $0.99.

The websites are breaking Amazon’s TOS and that is why reviewers and sellers are getting their accounts banned. Every day more accounts are wiped. You can find proof of this on the forums and you can look down the list of top reviewers and look where it says number of reviews, it will show a zero when they first get wiped and then a few days later the whole account is gone. In particular, here is one that was wiped last night, as an example, look at top reviewer number 117. Next to it, it says “reviews 0.” There were of course a lot more accounts wiped last night but that is one of the top reviewers I remember off the top of my head. Also, in those removed last night were admins of the facebook review groups. What does that tell you? AMZRT is one that gets tons of reviewers deleted and banned, too. Tomoson, as well. It’s been proven.

I just read through the squidoo article. Now that I think of it… I did do a survey on BzzAgent that asked me about my child playing with Transformers but I didn’t qualify because he’s a one year old. I also did 2 surveys on Smiley360 one of which asked if I had a dog and I don’t so I didn’t qualify so I think that was the Greenies test product and the other one at the end said I qualified to test Oxyclean 2in1 Stain Fighter. I think I’m starting to understand how these panels work! I’ll just continue to fill out my surveys!

Barbara, I just published a post with a list of 40 websites where you can get Amazon products for free (or highly discounted) in exchange for leaving revives on Amazon. Here is the link: http://moneypantry.com/amazon-review-sites/

Seems to me, that Amazon should be suing Fiverr right along with the other 4 that are paying for reviews (http://time.com/3817401/amazon-sues-fake-reviews/), as it seems to me what Fiverr is doing, is just as illegal.

Please get K. Ellington to stop continually harassing me for the honest 1 star review I posted on Amazon. It’s an honest review, and for a product that even the Seller has removed from purchase because of its potentially toxic ingredients! Hopefully your entire business does not run on bullying, and it is just this one person.

And closing things out, we have this Asfour Crystal Tut Anhk Amon Chair. According to the product description, the chair is made with some of the finest crystal in the world and took about 630 hours to build. When it was available (apparently someone actually bought this thing) it ran at about $140,000.

Yes, sorting by “verified purchase” is a must these days. I once bought a kitchen knife that had an obvious flaw. I was dumbfounded since it had all these glowing 5-star reviews. How can that be? Turned out NOBODY had actually purchased the knife, just me. Lesson learned.

Follow-up is key. Every time you reach out to a reviewer, add the date to your excel spreadsheet so you can keep track of when you sent your letter, who says yes, who says no, and who never replies. Follow up two weeks after your initial request with a friendly and simple message asking if they have had a chance to read through your request and that you look forward to hearing back.

Vine reviews can also be filtered out of the listing by using the “Filter by” option and only selecting “Verified purchase only”. But, sadly, the “Verified purchase only” filer does not filter the star rating. I would love for Amazon to add that feature.

2. USE a MASTER COPY OF your reviews (Mine is Called “NewEgg-000”) with ANY COMMENTS AND/OR WARNINGS AND SUCH and then just ADD your personal Review to this MASTER COPY. When you’re done with your NEW Review, then save this copy as “WHATEVER NAME-001” or “WHATEVER NAME-088” or whatever name/number you want to. This way if ANYONE has ANY QUESTIONS AND/OR COMMENTS about WHAT you said OR DIDN’T SAY you can provide them with the original Review. This saves a LOT of time AND arguments.

Writing reviews for products you never owned or never used could come back to haunt you if a company, seller or author ever asks you about it. Also, Amazon customers can leave comments and questions on your reviews asking for more information. Responding to these is also helpful for getting free products to review.
On-site requests and follow-up emails are the most popular methods to do this. If you’re using WooCommerce, the Follow Ups extension allows you to automate this via email with as many different configurations as you like.
