The Bad: EA put too much hype out there about it for way too long. They had everyone drooling over this games possibilities for YEARS. Talking like if gamers played this game every day, all day, it would take almost 80 years for them to explore all the games possible stars in the galaxy. And of course when the makers of Sims say something like that, it’s very believable and appealing. But the game just didn’t live up to the hype.
You have to wonder If there is a negativity bias behind this article. Its like they’re implyingnyhay negative reviews are more legitimate than positive. However. When someone has an ax. to grind its not unusual for them to get friends to gangup on a product and lost very extreme negative reviews in an effort to take down someone they dislike. That’s a far worse problemproblem the negative review trolls.
Dove Nutritive Solutions Daily Moisture is the best bet for anyone looking for a regular, everyday shampoo. Alterna Haircare Caviar will keep your color-treated hair looking vibrant between touch-ups.
I’ve been getting a lot of beauty products to test from Mindfield Online lately and they pay me about $30 or more. Also they offer a lot of baby products testing. Do you have a Sam’s Club membership? If so, they currently have a high paying project for Sam’s Club Members in the works right now to join. 💰 Pays by Cash, PayPal, and Amazon Gift Cards
I review all of the time, but I’m wanting to start reviewing bigger products. Such as Bluetooth Speakers, and things like that. So, my question is how do I go about getting approved to review bigger products. Any advice you can give me would be wonderful.
If you need to contact Amazon about a review, you should email email@example.com with the order number and your profile link. That email is manned by real people who focus on nothing but reviews, and is much safer than just calling or emailing them through the website.
This site launched at the end of July 2016. They show a handful of sample products on their home page: costumes, toys, beauty supplies, electronics, speakers, phone cases, apparel, video and more. Available for reviewers in the UK.
Sounds like the customer was still under the impression that discounted products meant you had to leave an incentivized review. Perhaps they just weren’t aware of it. As mentioned by others in this thread, if you didn’t break the rules I wouldn’t worry too much.
Power drills and makeup mirrors having no connection? Really? Do you live under a rock? As a former beauty pageant winner and current toolbelt diva, I take issue with your statement sir. In fact, my last purchase on Amazon included these items: a Rockwell Versacut power saw, 150 pink Swarovski crystals, a bass tuner, a bottle of Beautiful by Estee Lauder (my signature scent), and a set of under drive pulleys for my Cobra. People, in general, are so much more than what you see on the surface, that what you see as completely unrelated and suspect is nothing more than an average shopping trend at a retailer that offers every conceivable product ever created.
I wrote the following as a review of the product in question and it was rejected. I understand the reason – I was not really reviewing the product. I have not been able to find a place where I can send it to Amazon.
Even if you don’t manage your feedback in FeedbackFive, you can still sign up for an account to track product reviews. If you do that, you will have access to the “My Product Reviews” interface and will be able to see other pages, but we won’t import orders or send emails on your behalf. If you’re a FeedbackFive user already, “My Product Reviews” will appear in your dashboard’s sidebar. You can track two ASINs for free, or you can sign up for this enhancement to your account, which starts at $9.95 per month.
If you want to add more emails to your email sequence, you can do it. However, I wouldn’t recommend it, because that could be considered both spammy for Amazon and annoying for your customers. Also, if you combine marketing inserts with email follow-up sequences, the chances of getting more reviews will considerably increase.
I’m a Vine reviewer and I’d like to address some misconceptions in the article and comments. I love thewirecutter.com, and so I’d like to contribute by giving my understanding as a Viner who’s been doing it for several years:
“Before I begin my review on this product, let me set the record straight on something. NewEgg DOES NOT PAY their Eggxpert Reviewers ANY MONEY for a review (GOOD OR BAD – ON ANY PRODUCT)!!! When they 1st asked me to become a reviewer, they told me that I could post ANY TYPE of review that I wanted to, either GOOD OR BAD! The only thing that they asked me to do was to be honest in my review, which I try to be. Now that this is finished, let’s start…”
If your customers aren’t sharing lots of photos on your store, you can ask for permission to repurpose those you’ve found on social media (like Instagram and Twitter) as a review with credit. This is a powerful form of social proof and can make your product pages look amazing!
I use the “search” feature when reading reviews to look for my weight/size and see if people with a similar body type posted their experience. This is especially helpful when sizes don’t run true to size!
Be aware that Amazon is cracking down on these things! We have had several customers who have left reviews that Amazon either chose not to post or pulled down after they were posted. We are talking about verified purchases too! After contacting Amazon, they could not give any real solid answers as to why, and that the customer should contact them directly. They are really difficult to work with as a seller!
Since January 14, I have tried to get some one form either Amazon and/or HomeTown, to organise the return and refund. Nobody, either at Amazon and/or at HomeTown seems to care about the multiple emails, and complaints sent this January 14.
2. USE a MASTER COPY OF your reviews (Mine is Called “NewEgg-000”) with ANY COMMENTS AND/OR WARNINGS AND SUCH and then just ADD your personal Review to this MASTER COPY. When you’re done with your NEW Review, then save this copy as “WHATEVER NAME-001” or “WHATEVER NAME-088” or whatever name/number you want to. This way if ANYONE has ANY QUESTIONS AND/OR COMMENTS about WHAT you said OR DIDN’T SAY you can provide them with the original Review. This saves a LOT of time AND arguments.
I think Amazon should take this review devaluing more seriously! And maybe a few rounds of region-based boycott’s would help them take notice? Instead they dink around w/ taking or giving Prime Benefits or spin off more fee based memberships with new names! Aye! BTW, has anyone made a Hitler reaction video yet?
While an interest in the products enrolled in the program is key to getting an invite — aside from looking for Vine reviews on Amazon (which is not an easy task), there’s no real way to know which products are enrolled. All we know is that vendors pay to have their products included — a fact that Amazon did not initially disclose, leading to some negative coverage of the program in the past.
You may have heard of an Amazon program called Vine (members are Vine Voices and get a badge.) It is an Amazon sponsored program to help suppliers get their products into the hands of seasoned reviewers before and during the launch of the product on Amazon. This way a new product has a handful of reviews, or more. As I stated above, having genuine reviews of a product actually help online sales.
