When I first started completing surveys back in 2008, I believe I received my first product test survey within 1 to 2 months and I remember it was from SurveySpot to test coffee and I was paid $150! When I did this I was hooked! I started to sign up with as many Survey Panels I could find and I’m so glad I did!
Customer reviews are very important to boost a product ranking and offering a product at a discount is a great incentive to quickly acquire customer feedback and boost sales simultaneously. Due to recent changes to Amazon’s customer review policy, most of these sites might require that you place a disclaimer stating you purchased the product at a discount price.
Thanks for the suggestion. I don’t know anything about them since they are new to me, BUT I will say that their site does not use encryption during the sign-up, login process and account area. I HIGHLY recommend you hold off using the site until they fix this security issue. I will be contacting RMI telling them they need to fix this to protect their users/customers. Thanks again for bringing this to my attention.
People are going to complain, and sometimes about strange or silly things. While these reviews bring down the average, a higher ratio of positive reviews should balance things out. Publishing all levels of reviews shows that you keep it real.
This company is highly involved in products research and development. And under their KabelDirekt Premium User program, they often solicit qualified members to provide feedback. And contributing members will be rewarded with free products.
The required registration is easy. Get to their website and scroll all the way down until you find a place to fill in your e-mail address and click join. Promotion codes will be sent via e-mail and your prize for your review is free OZ Naturals product. Update: This site no longer offer 100% free products in exchange for reviews, instead you get heavily discounted products. You can get (full-size) products for $1.95. Thanks to Ann for the update.
Amazon is incredibly data driven and document heavy. Although those are not inherently bad things and can be good, they often keep the organization from seeing the big picture and balancing strategy with short-term numbers and reactions.
In case people are not aware as of October 2016 it is no longer allowed that free or discounted products are reviewed on Amazon. Plenty of people still lie and do it but it is a violation of the TOS and those that do it dismiss the FTC disclosure regulations as well.
There’s always a chance for a scam and websites come and go. With any website, only invest a small amount of money (if any) before you buy a lot of products to sell to make sure you like working with the site and to make sure it isn’t a scam.
So yes, there is no substitute for good old fashioned proofreading. But I have been very impressed with how smart Grammarly is, and how many intuitive changes it suggests. Suggesting that it’s developed with some serious AI, far beyond anything I’ve ever found in Microsoft Office, Adobe, iOffice etc.
Any feedback you can provide will be appreciated. I am very frustrated as this is increasing the time I am spending attempting to navigate obtaining products and managing the entire process. I am performing a job search and the I spend on product review is intended to give me a mindless break in between completing job applications.
I mostly agree, but I’ve been on Amazon since 1996 and don’t think I’ve ever received an invite. It’s possible that I received an invite when Vine debut, but turned it down because I was too busy at the time and just never received another one. Regardless, I’ve purchased a lot on Amazon and have written reviews for almost everything, simply because I believe reviews are important to online shopping, but I’ve waited for a Vine invite for years without receiving one.
For those of you who are not based in the USA (ie if you live in Canada, UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy….) you can use trendledeals to get some good deals. No need to leave a review either since the Amazon terms changes last year.
The good news is you can get tons of reviews on Amazon for your book or product in a legitimate and honest way. The key is to proactively seek out reviewers. There are a number of people on Amazon who have bought and reviewed products or books that compete with yours. If you simply identify who these people are, and then offer to send them your product for an honest review, they are likely to do it. And since they already reviewed a competing product to yours, their review is highly credible.
