“amazon products for honest review +how to review products on amazon for free”

I know, I know….I should just type and not bother with any edits until I finish completely. But I’m a little OCD, and as soon as an error pops up I have to fix it. I’ve gone back and forth with editors, professors, up to and including my wife! But it’s just me, as my compulsion forces me to fix edits as I go. Grammarly has been very helpful, working along with me, together merrily Fixing edits as we go and keeping my blood pressure down!

Run by Lisa Koivu, a former contributor to the U.S. News Frugal Shopper blog, ShopGirlDaily.com keeps you abreast of the latest trends in the retail world, including the best ways to score a deal or where to find the best price for fall boots. She also publishes gift guides and information on affordable subscription boxes.

And incidentally, Amazon specifically tells us not to talk about shipping and purchase process in reviews in their guidelines so that isn’t a flaw of the free-item/Vine review system as is mentioned here. They want that information given in product/seller feedback. Check their review guidelines page about what reviews are rejected. No one is supposed to include that information.

Due to Amazon’s latest policy change regarding product reviews, many of these sites have been forced to change direction. Some still continue to operate but under different rules, and some are completely halting their program. I will do my best to keep up and update this page. Please let us know in the comments if you do find changes on any of these sites.

The quick answer is that every analysis does two simultaneous things: we analyze every single review posted and we review each reviewer and every review that reviewer has ever posted on that account. We take all that data and run it through our engine which grades everything and looks for patterns.

Great post, Megan. We share many of these tips with enterprise software vendors to help them drive high-quality reviews on our site, G2Crowd.com. We’ve seen contests and rewards work well for vendors, but as Anupam and Julie pointed out, remaining authentic and transparent is important to ensuring that the reviews are trusted and truly representative of the customer experience. Reviews like these are both a great way for customers to share their feedback and an invaluable resource for vendors.

When I first started completing surveys back in 2008, I believe I received my first product test survey within 1 to 2 months and I remember it was from SurveySpot to test coffee and I was paid $150! When I did this I was hooked! I started to sign up with as many Survey Panels I could find and I’m so glad I did!

This company is highly involved in products research and development. And under their KabelDirekt Premium User program, they often solicit qualified members to provide feedback. And contributing members will be rewarded with free products.

No. Writing a negative review will not impact a Voice’s reviewer ranking. A reviewer’s ranking is determined by the number of helpful votes from other customers. Customers tend to value substantive, informative, detailed and objective reviews, regardless of whether the review is positive, negative, or neutral.

I noticed my ranking made a big jump downwards too, then it corrected itself a few days later. I think it may have been a bug in the algorithm Amazon was using to rank people. Going from 3K to 9K in ranking seems odd. When you get above 5K rank, going down 500 or 1,000 points because of a handful of negs is possible.

Upon registration, the website will award you with 200 deal tickets that can be useful for immediate redemption or discount codes. Your deal tickets will accumulate after you put in more and more reviews!

Since I wrote my answer many things have changed. Over a year ago Amazon changed the reviewer rules. You no longer required to leave a review for a product you get for a reduced price. You can only leave about 4 reviews a month for things purchased at a reduced price. AMaxon rejects so many reviews especially bad reviews now. And because they can no longer require you to leave a review, the merchandise is no longer free and is not discounted as much. I was always a truthful reviewer. I told it like it was. But I stopped because it is no longer worth it.

I understand what you are saying with the FCC regulation, but Amazon reviews fall in the gray area. FCC is going after businesses that promote products. Bloggers, journalists, business Twitter and Facebook accounts, all must disclose if the article/post was in any way supported by another company looking to profit from it. I’ve read it and have yet to see anything specifically stating reviews fall in that category. The reviewer is not profiting from it the way a blogger or business does. I could be wrong and welcome anyone sending me a link to counter it.

I really do think the uk are at a disadvantage at this game!! It’s not fair! I do wish all these sites would have a uk section like art does. We are very limited over here! Humf! Please post any uk sites you find, would be ever so grateful. Lol xx

Once you get the approval to test, the company will ask for your address to send you the product to test for a week or two.  Then, they’ll follow up with you with an email asking questions about the product you’ve tested.  When you’re done, you get paid!  WOO HOO!

The Customer Product Reviews screen shows you a list of reviews for that item. The list includes the date of the review, the reviewer name (keep in mind this name can be different from the name the buyer uses to purchase items), the rating, title of the review and the text of the review. The screen also shows you whether or not the review is associated with a verified Amazon purchase.

BuView is more of a focus group but it is another way to test products that are pending release or will be soon. Like other paid survey sites, product offers are based on your profile and interests and the vendor’s target audience.

I updated the link and it should work now. But please be aware that Pinecone is looking for certain demographic at this time: Males- Hispanics, African African Americans ages 18+ and Females ages 18-24.

6. Always fill out your demographic information with each product testing website you’re signed up with. This helps them know which product testing surveys are better suited for you, and more than likely you’ll will qualify for.

So what’s going on here? Scanning the listing for the highly reviewed three-pack, I found there wasn’t much of a range — they were either wonderful or terrible. Of the 673 reviews, 654 were five-star reviews, while the remaining 19 were one-star reviews. And those five-star reviews had some quirks.

2. Find potential reviewers. This is way easier than you may think. Simply go to your existing product page for your own product on Amazon. Then scroll to the section that says “Customer Also Bought Items By” and the section “Customers Who Viewed This Item Also Viewed.” These sections lists the competing products that customers view and buy when they consider your product. This is a goldmine. You are only one step away from targeting the best reviewers you could ever have–the people reviewing your competitor’s offering.

We can all agree these 3 tactics aren’t as easy to implement, nor as effective as the previously incentivized reviews. But one thing is guaranteed: everyone in this business will be positively affected.

This is a great article and as a person that does test sample products from amazon sellers I can say that I absolutely hate the fake reviews, it ruins the whole process. I take pride in my honest opinion and review of the products I test , I also update my review if something were to go wrong along the way with the item as well. Fake reviews just make it hard on those of us who are genuine and want to help the consumer get an idea of what they can expect from the product they’re looking at . I am one of the people that rely on word of mouth and honest reviews while shopping or looking at a business, it’s often what helps me decide .

My name is Natasha I am 26 years old and a single mom if 4 children. We have two dogs and some fish as well. I see you have a lot of use things on you’re page I’m wondering if you have the time could you recommend anything to me. I’m interested in money, surveys testing products at home even being paid by the products I’m testing. Thanks in advance for you’re time my email just in case you have time to help tpetrie6739@yahoo.com

These are the best Amazon review sites to choose from. As you will notice, there are many different sites to choose from and each one will have a different product selection to complement your shopping needs.

Oh I think I am rambling again…sorry, but I think finding this out explained where my down votes had come from and why!!! Its saddening really, I believe everyone has the right to accept products for free in return for a review if that is what they want to do so why certain feel the need to get more and be better than you is beyond me, why would it satisfy them to push that unhelpful button just to ensure their review remains the top rated???? It hasn’t happened again since but I haven’t reviewed the same products as them yet but I am aware of their tactic and will keep an eye on it. I don’t actually know what could be done other than down vote their reviews but I’m not like that and I won’t stoop to that level or get sucked into their petty wee game plus at the end of the day I can’t prove it was them. I have no idea what take Amazon would have on this either if it was happening all the time and started to become an issue?? I remember reading a post from someone who was on the Vine Programme and admitted that those reviewers have formed cliques, the gossip and backstabbing is awful among them and its all very cut throat!! Craaaazy, wouldn’t it be better if they just respected each other and do their reviews rather than get so competitive about it all.. I guess it boils down to some people having the nature of begrudging and do not like someone else getting on or doing better than them and when it comes to receiving free products greed and jealousy gets mixed into the pot also. I have ignored it so far Lynn and just keep my head down and carry on enjoying writing my reviews but yes, looks like we have attracted a little troll or two on our journey!! 🙂

  1. You make it sound like dishonesty is some sort of requirement. If you hate everything and rate it all 1-star, they will still keep sending you stuff. I’ve never heard of someone being kicked out of Vine for being too honest. The more common problem is people selecting items for review that they either never took out of the box, only gave a cursory examination of or didn’t know how to use (or literally could not use).
