“how to get free products to review from amazon amazon product review deals”

Thank you very much for this post, as obviously your advice was crucial and as a result of taking it, I’m hopefully now about to review my first product as an official “reviewer!” I say “hopefully,” because I’ve not yet received a reply to my acceptance of the offer.

Getting free products in exchange for reviews is very tempting. But be aware that these sites were created for the benefit of the sellers and not the customers. These sellers are giving you free or deeply-discounted product and EXPECT a four or five-star review. This is a form of “review manipulation and can get your account banned from Amazon and all the reviews deleted, including the reviews that were rightfully purchased before joining the review clubs. Regardless of what these review clubs say, all rules MUST comply with Amazon’s Terms of Services (ToS). You can not get any monetary feedback in any way, not by reselling or blogging for profit. Too many reviewers have had their accounts terminated for violating Amazon’s ToS and then try to find out why and are not told by Amazon. Amazon is cracking down on these reviews and it’s the reviewers who get hit first before the sites are shut down. So join these with caution.

4. How to get a review. Click on each reviewer to get details on the person. Note that this step may require some sleuthing skills. In some cases the reviewer will share their contact information, in other cases they will share their name and business, and in some cases they reveal squat. I have found about 50 percent of the time I can find a way to contact the person in under a minute—often via e-mail, other times via a Facebook page or Twitter.

3. The pot of gold. Visit the Amazon page for the first competitor that you identified in Step 2. Now, near the top left of the page, click on the link to the customer reviews. This will list every review the competing product has received. To make this process easy to track, click on the option that lets you sort the reviews by “Newest First.” Now you will see the list of sorted reviews with the Amazon name or “Real Name” of each reviewer. Welcome to the pot of gold.

1.      Find the top reviewers. First we’ll scour the Amazon list of Top Reviewers. You’ll see the page is divided into Top Reviewer Rankings and Hall of Fame Reviewers. Hall of Fame holds the long-time legacy reviewers, while the Top Review Rankings shows the best Amazon contributors at the current moment. Hall of Fame shows the reviewers’ title badges and accolades, although you can get this same info mousing over names in the Top Reviewers section.

In my opinion they’re not requiring it, just strongly suggesting what they’d like. I actually had to deal with a seller yesterday who emailed me about a previous review that they claimed was hurting sales. I had given an item 3 stars and they wanted me to change it to four or more.

I have only ever reached out to 1 or 2 companies that I can remember. I get about 1 offer a day now, so I don’t really have that much time to request more. And it is always via the email address I have listed on my Amazon profile.

“Also, they asked me to check some of the existing reviews, and to click that one helped me.” DON’T DO THIS. This A) goes against the ethics of the Reviewing community, B) is expressly forbidden by Amazon and something Amazon is cracking down on and kicking Reviewers/Seller out for, and C) is something we all need to stamp out by writing back to Sellers and saying ‘no’—educate them that this practice of fake up-votes is unethical and against policy.

I wish I lived in New Jersey! I would love to go to their location in person and review their beauty products for LOreal and Revlon. I hope one day they will fly me out there to check out there facility.

Once you have framed and asked for the review and created the URL for them to leave that review, you need to design the marketing insert. This shouldn’t be too hard nor too complicated if you have a designer in your team. But even if you don’t, you should try to make it as simple as possible, as long as your branding doesn’t get affected.

3. I doubt I will ever be asked to be a Vine Reviewer but I am enjoying reviewing several products. Tristan (and any other reviewers reading this), would please take a couple of minutes of your time to look at some of my reviews and give me constructive feedback? I am not the greatest writer and appreciate any help you would offer.

These are the best Amazon review sites to choose from. As you will notice, there are many different sites to choose from and each one will have a different product selection to complement your shopping needs.

As a supplier of an item I want reviewed, I am looking over your profile to see if you are going to be a good candidate for this product. I’m also going to read your reviews (likely skim them) to judge them on length, content, constructive criticism, and tone of voice. I want a reviewer that is not only going to give me an honest review, but one that will help other potential buyers A) make an informed buying decision based on a peer review, and more importantly B) want to buy the product.

We use these various revenue streams not only to support our staff, but also to purchase products for review, to outfit our offices with the best tools and equipment for testing – including the construction of our new 5,000-square-foot Purch Lab – and to continue to expand the number of products and services we rank and review.

Believe it or not, but you can purchase a personal tank style cruiser on Amazon for just 19 grand. Not surprisingly, this product elicited a number of hilarious reviews, though this one in particular really stands out.

Absolutely. The founding principal of Jump Send is that everything follows Amazon’s policies to the letter. You can read through Amazon’s Prohibited Seller Activities  Most importantly is the sentence, “You may request feedback from a buyer, however you may not pay or offer any incentive to a buyer for either providing or removing feedback.”

I’ve been reviewing a lot through sample programs. I’ve specialized in one area (beauty products) and now I’d like to contact some sellers about products I’d like to review. Some of them have even done Vine promotions so it looks like they may be receptive. It’s REALLY difficult to contact a seller that you haven’t already ordered from. Do you know how to reach them?

When they DELIBERATELY AND WITH FULL KNOWLEDGE OF THE ENSUING CONSEQUENCES eliminated their 20–word minimum rule for product reviews, this opened up the floodgates for the cheats to post MILLIONS of fake product reviews.

Something that needs to be mentioned is that if you are doing discounted reviews or free product reviews, you are required to leave a disclaimer stating that you got a promotional discount or free product. Its not an amazon reg but an Federal Trade Commission regulation

As an editor, I want to caution you that Grammarly (or any spell check program) is not perfect. It will often correct mistakes that aren’t mistakes. (One I see often is the words it’s and it’s.) It’s a nice tool, but never a substitute for a human editor who knows the rules. It might be cheaper, as well as catching things Grammarly might not (such as awkward sentences, repeating the same word several times in a short space), to hire an editor to look over your blogs and online writings.

Product reviews drive buyer trust and confidence by providing relevant information they need. Supplying this information at the point of purchase means shoppers are more likely to convert to buyers when viewing your item. Research shows they keep buyers on the site, resulting in an average 18% uplift in sales.*

Important: Before you can post a review, you need to have an Amazon.com account that has successfully been charged for the purchase of a physical or digital item. Free digital downloads don’t qualify. You don’t need to have purchased the product you’re reviewing. There’s a 48-hour waiting period after your first physical order has been completely shipped, or your digital item has been purchased, before you’ll be able to submit your review. If you’ve purchased a digital gift for someone else, the 48-hour waiting period doesn’t begin until the gift has been redeemed.

Call up any established product at Adagio Teas, for example, and you’ll see hundreds, if not thousands, of reviews. This is due in part to the fact that customers are rewarded five loyaltypoints for each review written.

Amy, for shoes, companies like Nike do have product testing, but they send you shoes all the time. And some require you send it back after a few weeks of testing. I found 6 of them that include Nike and Reebok. Here is the link to my post: http://moneypantry.com/get-free-shoes/

As it turned out, I LOVED the book and in my opinion it held a great deal of crossover appeal and whether or not you liked sci-fi, you should read this book. So, in my review title, that was generally what I typed. I kept it short of but got the point across. And in the body, before going into specifics, I reiterated a bit about me as a reader, the type of book I normally enjoy to read (including a few examples of recent favorites) and gave the book a comparison and a description of what I’d compare it to that wasn’t considered sci-fi.

Don’t want fake reviews? Ask only real customers then. When you let anyone do it you will end with a bunch of fakes and 21% of reviews made by people who never bought or tried that product! (Source http://bit.ly/reviews-falsos),

It’s tough making your living online – the web has a way of bringing out the worst in people as many users hide under the internet’s veil of anonymity to spread slander they’d never dream of voicing IRL. It’s not a matter of if you’ll ever get a bad review – it’s just a matter of when.

But after reading this post, I went in and cleaned up a few of mine that weren’t detailed, and I scanned all of my titles to make sure they would stand out to a consumer as the type that would be helpful.

  1. Please Note:  Recent changes to Amazon.com’s terms of service prohibit “incentivized reviews”.  This means that reviewers can not accept free or discounted products (or other incentives) in exchange for providing reviews on Amazon.com or its affiliated shopping services.  Please do not use our service for these purposes.
Great article! Thanks for your help personalizing my profile- I didn’t realize that was something I could do! I was wondering if you’ve ever personally contacted companies to test their products or if they generally just approach you? I really considered going the “bold” and “direct” route you mentioned, but I don’t want to get into trouble from Amazon either, haha. Also- if they contact you- is it always through your email- or is there a way for them to contact you through Amazon?
