“product review sites for amazon |how to get products for review on amazon”

As a supplier of an item I want reviewed, I am looking over your profile to see if you are going to be a good candidate for this product. I’m also going to read your reviews (likely skim them) to judge them on length, content, constructive criticism, and tone of voice. I want a reviewer that is not only going to give me an honest review, but one that will help other potential buyers A) make an informed buying decision based on a peer review, and more importantly B) want to buy the product.

In a statement to Select All, Amazon said: “Amazon is investing heavily to detect and prevent inauthentic reviews. These reviews make up a tiny percentage of all reviews on Amazon but even one is unacceptable. In addition to advance detection, we’ve filed lawsuits against more than 1,000 defendants for reviews abuse and will continue to pursue legal action against the root cause of reviews abuse as well as the number of individuals and organizations who supply fraudulent reviews in exchange for compensation. Customer reviews are one of the most valuable tools we offer for making informed purchase decisions and we work hard to make sure they are doing their job.”

4. Once on the Seller’s details page, look to the right side for blue outlined box and a link near the bottom of it in a paragraph starting with “For questions regarding products”. Click it (you will be asked to log in.) See screenshot:

I pretty much skip over the Vine reviews — or consider them more of a product brochure a review. Most of them are too long. All I really want to know is in general, are the purchasers pleased with their purchases and why/why not. Wish Amazon would limit the length of reviews.

This is one of the first review sites I have come across that charges a monthly subscription fee. If you feel you are having trouble getting products from other sites, this site’s fee just may keep the pool of reviewers down to a more manageable sum.

Tell them that you’re hoping for an honest review of the product, although no obligation is required. Many won’t respond to your email, and probably only around half will review the product you send, but that’s the name of the game. Yes, it’s risky. But if your product is awesome and you know it can earn great reviews, a few 5 star ratings from these top Amazon reviewers will be HUGE.

We’re serious about editorial integrity. So much so, we keep our sales team and reviewers in separate buildings – in different states and in different time zones. Seriously! Once our reviews are complete and published, our sales staff pursues various means of developing revenue. That may include traditional advertising, sponsorships, lead generation or affiliate relationships.

It all depends on your demographic what companies are looking for. Some people get a lot of product testing invites and some don’t get hardly any. Remember although you’re just getting surveys right now those points you’re making can be cashed in for money, gift cards, and merchandise, so it’s a win-win!

This new product promotion program is owned and operated by the same veteran team that ran The Review Effect. Enjoy a simple email-only program to get up to 99% off on great new products. Available to product testers in the USA.

Take a screen shot of your window with the code you pasted in, I always try and copy/paste them for accuracy, and the error message you got. Include the Total Section. Email this to the proper person. Different websites and fb groups have different rules on how to proceed with this. That way you have proof that you typed in the correct thing and it didn’t work. So many times someone tries to tell you that you did it wrong, lol.

I was wondering………. how do you get to leave a “verified” review without paying for the product first. I thought I could give potential reviewers an Amazon Gift Card to the value of…. or perhaps there is another way? Maybe you just leave unverified reviews?

producttestingusa.com is not a legit site from what ive heard. you have to answer a bunch of yes or no survey questions and sign up or it signs you up for different stuff. but as I was on one of those sites I read the small print and it talks about getting so many silver, gold, and bronze points(I don’t know what all that entails-but it doesn’t sound legit to me)

absolutely! the goodies should always be post the review more as a thank you gesture for the review, and not as an enticement for a good review. the moment you start doing it the other way round it loses its credibility.

Listings associated with a product in the eBay product catalog are eligible for product reviews. If no review has been written, a buyer will be given the opportunity to be the first to write a review and any buyers of reviewable items will receive an email encouraging them to write a review. All eligible products across all categories in general can be reviewed and show reviews.

But after reading this post, I went in and cleaned up a few of mine that weren’t detailed, and I scanned all of my titles to make sure they would stand out to a consumer as the type that would be helpful.

Amazon tracks gift cards and promo codes now, which means his product review will not show up anyway. You wont get banned, you just wont get the review, especially since they added the fact it was incentivized.

It certainly can’t hurt to ask the company/manufacturer. Though, to put this in perspective, I would expect products that just hit the shelves within the past few months (and don’t have any/many reviews) would be more inclined to want/need your review. And know that not all companies/manufactures recognize the value of reviews. Also, keep in mind that high end products typically go through the Vine Program, while food and vitamin samples are very commonly sent out for reviews.

In a blog post, Amazon said it’s improving its review ratings by introducing an algorithm that gives weight to reviews that are more helpful. It said it’s also suspending, banning or suing “thousands of individuals for attempting to manipulate reviews.”

Believe it or not, but you can purchase a personal tank style cruiser on Amazon for just 19 grand. Not surprisingly, this product elicited a number of hilarious reviews, though this one in particular really stands out.

Joining Betabound gives you access to products (mobile phones, home theater, wearables, etc.) before they go to market so that you can test them and give feedback about your experience. Available worldwide (though USA is likely more popular to get products.)

So far, I’ve found amzreviewtrader to be pretty useless. Have requested to review 4 items and they have remained in “pending” status for days. I emailed them using the link on their “New Help Center” and got a reply saying their email volume is too high so they won’t be responding to my email and that I should go to their “New Help Center”. Nothing like getting auto response admitting that my email is not important enough to respond to.

I only write honest reviews, and I write them as if I spent my own money to buy the product (just as customers would.) I test all products thoroughly. I also only do reviews for products that interest me. That being said, most times I don’t get awful products because I research the product on Amazon before I say ‘yes.’ If it looks like junk, or other reviewers are panning it, then I say ‘no, thanks.’

The bottomline is the introduction of bias and this lengthy response confirms that for me. I appreciate an emotional reaction to a product because #human so bashing those out of hand further emphasizes a departure from what a regular reader is looking for in the Amazon reviews. I greatly value review authors who employ a more systematic approach but my personal feeling is that a review made by a person looking for a specific product for their use and then buying it with their own money will always be more valuable to me than a review created after getting the product free. When I want those types of reviews, I visit a site like the wirecutter outside of the Amazon reviews environment so I have some context for where the bias is coming from. I loved this article for taking these reviews to task!! Thank you!!

  1. Once you have framed and asked for the review and created the URL for them to leave that review, you need to design the marketing insert. This shouldn’t be too hard nor too complicated if you have a designer in your team. But even if you don’t, you should try to make it as simple as possible, as long as your branding doesn’t get affected.
Please can u suggest some websites for Indian users.. i found ur blog useful! but mostly the products are for US or other western countries. Please tell me genuine product testing websites for us. I live in India.
#5) I Love To Review is now Deal Hustl. You get redirected to that site. Page one asks for your first name and email. After you give them that, you get another page where you have to supply your full name and phone number. Seems scammy. Why do they need my phone number? Anyways, just wanted to give a heads up.
Thanks for the suggestion. I don’t know anything about them since they are new to me, BUT I will say that their site does not use encryption during the sign-up, login process and account area. I HIGHLY recommend you hold off using the site until they fix this security issue. I will be contacting RMI telling them they need to fix this to protect their users/customers. Thanks again for bringing this to my attention.
When CR first crash-tested car seats, 12 out of 15 were rated Not Acceptable. After CR published its findings, the government required manufacturers to certify that their seats would pass a similar test.
