For example, sports fans can ask for the result of the latest “Spurs game.” The US version of the Echo will know you probably mean the San Antonio Spurs and give you a basketball result, while the UK version knows you mean Tottenham Hotspur and gives you a soccer result. The UK version also gives you British English spellings and jokey Easter eggs relating to British cultural touchstones like “Monty Python,” among a number of other UK-focused features. Check out the video above to see some of those British features in action.

Plus, most get paid to reviews sites emphasize on writing reviews based on your true experience, and if you don’t, they will eventually catch up with you, which might lead you to lose your chance to get paid to review.

4.      Reach out to users who reviewed similar products. You can find users who have reviewed products similar to yours (even your competitor’s products) by visiting your product page, going to “Customers Who Bought This Item Also Bought” and “Customers Who Viewed This Item Also Viewed.” These are your competitors, and you could do well simply taking note of them and reading their reviews (paying attention to what they do well and what they fail at), and even checking out their website.

The active way would be to come right out and say that you enjoy reviewing products on Amazon. While there is no hard and fast rule against you saying that you would take products in exchange for honest reviews, I would advise against it. Since Amazon has the Vine Program in place, I’m not sure how kindly they would take to you overtly circumventing the program on your profile. It’s not that Amazon doesn’t know people are sent items for free in exchange for reviews, but I am sure they would prefer you not advertise you do so outside of Vine. But, if you are super eager to be sent products to review, then maybe the active approach might be best for you.

In fact, at the time we did our research sweep, the Rxvoit headphones had a five-star rating and a few hundred reviews posted within a week or two. This, for a company that is very new (as in, it has only one product—these headphones) and one we had never heard of. That’s a red flag.

4. Once on the Seller’s details page, look to the right side for blue outlined box and a link near the bottom of it in a paragraph starting with “For questions regarding products”. Click it (you will be asked to log in.) See screenshot:

Most products are 50% to 99% and there are a few free products as well after the discount is applied. For example, you can try out a plastic bread cutting slicer for free or buy women’s clothing and purses for $30 (70% off normal price of $100).

I will add, in my experience with Grammarly, and why I advocate it and it stood out. It catches many words that aren’t misspelled, but are in the wrong context. For example, a couple lines above I accidentally typed “doesn’t out much,” where in haste I typed out instead of “put.” I would proofread it when I finish (my father taught me to proofread by reading each word from the bottom up, right to left as it makes you slow down and pay closer attention…tedious but handy) but before I got a sentence away Grammarly identified it and pointed it out to me, and a quick mouse click later it’s fixed. Which can shortens my prof dreading later.

Hey guys, just came here to see other offers and testing sites. I’ve signed up for Nike/Reebok etc but never got anything from them. I did however sign up about a year or two ago for New Balance and have tested probably about 5-6 pairs of shoes so far. Legit and a great program, although my girlfriend (and Mother) signed up last year and hasn’t gotten one pair yet. Good luck!

Karen, while it’s true that sometimes beauty pageant winners who are current toolbelt divas DO purchase items on Amazon, it’s a statistical improbability. Those items show up in Amazon’s list because sellers of those items create pools of multiple fake accounts, and each fake account “purchases” and “reviews” the exact same items. A single, unique individual like yourself won’t affect Amazon’s rankings much in a statistically significant way.

Snagshout is one of the more popular Amazon Review Sites. Snagshout only allows you to review one product at a time, meaning you have to order the product, test it, review it, and get it verified by the Snagshout team before you can review another product.

You may have noticed that some of our reviews and rankings are slow to update. That could be because very little has changed in a particular product group. For example, stand mixers have not changed much in 20 years, so until something better than the Kitchen Aid comes along, you might not see an update to our review in 12 months – or until the new models arrive.

Thank you, Lou. You shared some very good survey sites that I am a member of. Thanks for listing Nicequest. I was able to sign up with them through your link. I think some of the best sites are the ones that send invitations through email.

Thank you for such valuable information, Lou! I’m commenting on your reply regarding ProductTestingUSA.com being a scam. It would be nice to note in the main article if possible, since not everyone will read all the comments.

Amazon Vine invites the most trusted reviewers on Amazon to post opinions about new and pre-release items to help their fellow customers make informed purchase decisions. Amazon provides Vine members with free products that have been submitted to the program by participating vendors. Vine reviews are the independent opinions of the Vine Voices. The vendor cannot influence, modify or edit the reviews. Amazon does not modify or edit Vine reviews, as long as they comply with our posting guidelines.
