“amazon product review template _review products on amazon for free”

The honest answer to “How can I get free stuff to review on Amazon?” is simply to buy stuff on Amazon and submit meaningful reviews for the products. Increase your reviewer ranking on Amazon, and THEN vendors themselves will reach out to you and ask you to review their products.

Distributed enterprises are finding that legacy WAN technologies are creating pain points in the digital era, prompting the need for a new WAN paradigm. Software-defined WAN (SD-WAN) has emerged as an architecture that improves visibility and optimization among common WAN connectivity protocols, while promising reduced costs, improved performance, and enhanced security and control over … Continue Reading…

Wonderful blog, thank you so much for sharing all of this great information! Hope you didn’t mind me jumping in and replying to some of the user questions. Sometimes just can’t help myself, it is like an addiction. 🙂

How much would these companies ding you if you have a few unsavory reviews (which essentially break a bunch of your rules) I doubt there’s anything too obscene and i never used any outright foul language or anything. Would it just make more sense to get a new user name?

1. As I stated earlier I am a newbie Amazon reviewer. I started off reviewing stuff around my house and some e-books I have read. I have had a few companies send me products using coupon code (this completely pays for the product and shows up as “Verified Purchase”), and others just send me the product.

So what are you, the average Amazon shopper, to do? You can avail yourself of sites like Fakespot and ReviewMeta. Both readily admit that their algorithms aren’t perfect, but they do help spotlight products with “too good to be true” reviews attached to them. You can read reviews yourself, and check for things like a ton of unverified five-star reviews — in my experience, a sure sign that something fishy is going on with a product’s review score. And you can click through and check out a reviewer’s history. If a reviewer only has a few reviews, or has hidden their review history, take their feedback with a grain of salt.

Hi, I’m a reviewer on amazon as well and I just wanted to offer some advice to help some newer reviewer. If you do video demos of the product that you buy or receive for reviews and include pictures, sellers would be more incline to select you or reach out to you to review their product. Also breaking up your review in paragraphs or doing a pros and cons is great, and what I do is do a summery paragraph at the end and include in that other possible uses in such.

These companies below are my personal favorites I use to get free products at home to test, and get paid by either PayPal, Cash, Gift Cards, or Merchandise. Sign up now before these panels don’t accept new members! If you’re the main shopper in your household you should do really well.  With the holidays here, now is a great time to join these programs and make extra money.

As Product Elf has grown in popularity so quickly, they have over 40,000 reviewers, discount codes can disappear quickly. New offers are uploaded on a daily basis as sellers are launching new products all the time.

When CR first crash-tested car seats, 12 out of 15 were rated Not Acceptable. After CR published its findings, the government required manufacturers to certify that their seats would pass a similar test.

3. Always tell the truth! Brands need truthful people to evaluate their products. If you lie, companies will not know if they need to make any improvements to their products. Also, you can get yourself removed from their program, and not get paid.

Amazon has historically prohibited compensation for reviews – even going so far as to sue those businesses who pay for fake reviews, as well as the individuals who write them, in an effort to make its review and rating system fairer and more helpful to online shoppers. However, it has allowed businesses to offer products to customers in exchange for their “honest” review.

It wasn’t hard finding cheap dongle deals on Amazon. The problem was the huge variance in the reviews — often for ostensibly the exact same product. It’s an issue I’d noticed plenty of times while hunting for cheap electronics on Amazon, but I couldn’t stop trying to figure out the rhyme or reason behind it all.

The Chinese are, in this respect, reprehensible. A while ago, students at a Chinese high school rioted because the administrators had severely cracked down on cheating. Why were the students mad? Because they claimed that they would be at a severe competitive disadvantage with the other schools, where the cheating was left intact. This is the poisoned fruit that falls from the tree down to us.

I looked around and do not see an Amazon Seller Directory where you can contact Sellers directly. This might be useful to the reviewing community as well as the Seller community. I will look into the feasibility of building such a directory here on The Reviewer Collective. Probably catch hell from Amazon, but we’ll see.

Save time and simplify the task of brand management with Review Central. Gather and organize your product reviews for the past 90 days (up to the first 10 pages), stay informed about what customers are saying about your products.

Love to read your post here. As a Chinese reader from China, the words from your post are better than those official page provided by amazon for me. lol…. I haven`t selling on amazon yet(I own an individual online store: itead.cc), but it will come soon. Your post is helpful for me to sell my products on amazon in the future. But now, there is also exist one question in my brain, that is how to let reviewers write something for my online site. Because I also want to my site get more visitors. Could you help me with this? If your could tell me some sites or blog for products, I will much appreciated for your help. Many Thanks!

This review program is part of ARCTIC Cooling Inc., maker of computer cooling solutions, computer and mobile phones accessories. Like similar programs, they only offer their own brand’s products for review. Available for reviewers in UK, Germany, Spain, France, Italy, USA.

No. All Vine products are submitted by vendors to Amazon, and distributed by Amazon to the Vine Voices. Vendors have no contact with the Vine Voices, and have no influence over which Vine Voices will review their products.

Include words in the subject line that signify a financial incentive to leaving a review (like “coupon, win, free, save, sale, and discount”), which have a positive impact, increasing the conversion rate from shoppers to reviewers by 18.5% on average. If you sell more than one product, you could give your customers a discount for another product. This may not be the best strategy in Amazon, as it may be considered a type of incentive, but it’s something to think about.

Fakespot is part of the Amazon affiliate program. They get paid after you check an item then click the link to go back and purchase that or anything else in the next 24 hours. They have ZERO credibility and don’t even disclose they are an affiliate partner which is against FTC regulations!

And closing things out, we have this Asfour Crystal Tut Anhk Amon Chair. According to the product description, the chair is made with some of the finest crystal in the world and took about 630 hours to build. When it was available (apparently someone actually bought this thing) it ran at about $140,000.

And if I chose to respond to this rather lucratively illustrated offer, will my review site user agreement change in ways that may turn out to be unfavorable for me? For example, would they be able to use my name and/or email to reach out to other sellers they are soliciting? Will my information no longer full under the current privacy agreement? There are other possible implications that I’m not listing as to not to belabor the point.

Keep it short and to the point. I’v had about 25% success with this, to be honest. I believe it has to do with the fact that Sellers have an agenda and want/need certain products reviewed. What I pick might not fall in line with that, or have a lot of reviews already.

And, each site might only offer so many discounts per item. If the item is listed on more than one site, you can still get the free product if all the discounts have been claimed at the first review site.

You absolutely do not get paid through bzz agent. You get points through them for a my points account they encourage you to make, and you can redeem those points for gift cards, but you don’t get paid. Pretty much everything is free, though! I’ve received things as awesome as a soda stream! So, it’s worth it, but no, you don’t get paid.

I wish Amazon had an option to turn off all “paid reviews”, which usually have the following disclaimer at the very bottom of a 10-paragraph review that you’ll never read to the end: “I was provided a discount for my fair and unbiased review of this product.” Fair and unbiased? Please. Claiming to provide an unbiased review that then completely fails to notice serious product flaws is blatantly dishonest. I especially hate the paid reviews that start with, “I bought this for my relative/friend/boss” etc., which misleads people, right off the bat, into believing the reviewer paid full price for the product.

You actually can narrow your options on Amazon to show only reviews from the specific version you have selected. When you go into ‘show all reviews’, there’s a series of drop down boxes to filter by reviewers (all / verified purchasers), star ratings, and formats (all / this specific version only).

Lastly, you can always sign up for reviewer programs such as ILoveToReview.com (which is currently only U.S. based, and which I am a member.) BUT! Be very careful about signing up for these programs. Not all of them are legit, and some use shady tactics to coerce reviewers into only leaving 4-5 star reviews, or giving you bad advice that can actually have your reviews pulled down by Amazon, or worse. Do your research!

Note: It can take up to 3 days after the order is completed or canceled for the “Leave seller feedback” button to appear next to the order in Your Orders page. You have 90 days from the date of your order to leave your rating and comments.

Joining Betabound gives you access to products (mobile phones, home theater, wearables, etc.) before they go to market so that you can test them and give feedback about your experience. Available worldwide (though USA is likely more popular to get products.)

Only choose products you’re really interested in, and don’t feel compelled to select something just for the sake of a review. If you don’t really want or need the item, you can just skip a month or two.

FeedbackExpress offers a beautifully simple status system that makes filtering super easy. You’ll see at a glance all positive, neutral and negative buyer feedback and know when action needs to be taken or if cases have been resolved. You’ll even be advised to leave seller feedback if a negative feedback can’t be resolved.

“how to get amazon products free to review receive free amazon products for review”

Product Testing USA is a JOKE! and a SCAM! I mistakenly signed up with them and all I have received is 20+ calls a day from various companies trying to sell me stuff or give me quotes. Yes, they ask you all these questions on if you’re interested in different things and I said NO to each and every one of them – but that doesn’t mean anything. So, my phone is ringing off the hook and the only way to combat it is to answer and let them know I never requested whatever it is they are offering and to tell them to please remove this number from their list. My mistake – Live and Learn – but please save yourself the aggravation and stay away from Product Testing USA.

I have joined and had success with a few of these except EDC Elite Deal Club,, things were ok then I was asked to review products I had not asked for, the customer service was beyond dire. They are now asking for your financial information,,, be aware people- you pay via Amazon not these sites,,, Elite Deal Club has no reason to demand you personal financial information- leave well alone.

Paid surveys is a great way to earn extra money on the side and plus the perks of getting free products and more. Don’t feel discourage and keep completing surveys and you’ll reap the benefits! Let me know if you need any other help.

(4) Now, you should finally be at the screen to register/create and EA account. Clicking “submit” never worked for us, so we clicked on the –> to continue. This is when I nearly lost it, after all this work we find out that “The registration key used to instal this game cannot be validated.” If you click on help with registration it just takes you to a page for password recovery. I also tried to look at the technical support mentioned in the back of the book with the DVD for help. I can get to the main page, but there is no content at all.

Oh I think I am rambling again…sorry, but I think finding this out explained where my down votes had come from and why!!! Its saddening really, I believe everyone has the right to accept products for free in return for a review if that is what they want to do so why certain feel the need to get more and be better than you is beyond me, why would it satisfy them to push that unhelpful button just to ensure their review remains the top rated???? It hasn’t happened again since but I haven’t reviewed the same products as them yet but I am aware of their tactic and will keep an eye on it. I don’t actually know what could be done other than down vote their reviews but I’m not like that and I won’t stoop to that level or get sucked into their petty wee game plus at the end of the day I can’t prove it was them. I have no idea what take Amazon would have on this either if it was happening all the time and started to become an issue?? I remember reading a post from someone who was on the Vine Programme and admitted that those reviewers have formed cliques, the gossip and backstabbing is awful among them and its all very cut throat!! Craaaazy, wouldn’t it be better if they just respected each other and do their reviews rather than get so competitive about it all.. I guess it boils down to some people having the nature of begrudging and do not like someone else getting on or doing better than them and when it comes to receiving free products greed and jealousy gets mixed into the pot also. I have ignored it so far Lynn and just keep my head down and carry on enjoying writing my reviews but yes, looks like we have attracted a little troll or two on our journey!! 🙂

Writing reviews for products you never owned or never used could come back to haunt you if a company, seller or author ever asks you about it. Also, Amazon customers can leave comments and questions on your reviews asking for more information. Responding to these is also helpful for getting free products to review.

Put your reviews front and center. Consider placing a couple reviews right on your homepage. If you have reviews for specific items, publish them on each product page. You can even add an entirely new page dedicated to housing awesome testimonials with a link in your top nav. Just make sure you get them on your site in a way that works for your product. We love how Primal Pit Paste shows off their raving fans on a special section of their website.

Yep you’ll need to find a topic to blog about. You can become a lifestyle blogger and blog about a variety of topics. As for how to get products from companies to review on your blog, in this post at the end is a link that goes to how to become a product review blogger. Once you have a good flow of traffic to your blog you can also start pitching to companies directly. If only survey panels would allow you to blog about the products you test through them but unfortunately these products are top secret and not out on the market yet.

I have noticed another trend of competitors posting fake negative reviews to try and sink new businesses. It works both ways. Best to read the reviews and make your own decision rather than relying on some automated “honesty finding” program.

It all depends on your demographic what companies are looking for. Some people get a lot of product testing invites and some don’t get hardly any. Remember although you’re just getting surveys right now those points you’re making can be cashed in for money, gift cards, and merchandise, so it’s a win-win!

The one thing you have to take note of is that sometimes there are different rules for each specific product, so be sure to read them carefully. For example, instead of leaving a product review, they may require you to write a blog post about it instead.

I have a question about less than glorious reviews. If you are reviewing a product that doesn’t quite measure up or doesn’t do what it claims do you go ahead and post your reviews professionally with pro’s and constructive criticism and suggestions or do you contact them first?

So if you want to be considered, avoid leaving extremely brief reviews. Avoid complaining about something in the product that is clearly stated in the description. Think about the questions you were asking yourself before you took the plunge and ordered that $200 gadget that you knew you didn’t need but really, really wanted.

Sorry for the long post but I just had to come back to let you know about such a positive result I gained from following your advise…thank you so much and if I can be of help to anyone else on this I’d be more than happy to share my experience…I definitely agree that if a seller has followed the link to your Public Profile from one of your reviews this is where I think they decide to contact you or not. If anyone is thinking of trying this then I’d say go for it…I never thought in a million years I’d get this opportunity but this excellent article by Tristan changed all that completely…its a fun and rewarding way to spend some of your spare time! 🙂 Thanks again Tristan!

Dove Nutritive Solutions Daily Moisture is the best bet for anyone looking for a regular, everyday shampoo. Alterna Haircare Caviar will keep your color-treated hair looking vibrant between touch-ups.

Amazon Sellers pay these companies to reach out to their email list asking their subscribers if they would like to receive free or deeply discounted product to test. When you show interest in a particular product being offered, that company either:

Toluna is a high ranking panel with members making money every day!  I get quite a bit to test with Toluna Panel and the pay is good! When you sign up, click the “Rewards” tab and then click “Test Products” tab.  You’ll get product test invites in your email as well.  Also Toluna has high paying focus groups with pay of over $100 or more. 💰 Pays by Cash and Gift Cards

yes I have left 1 2 and 3 star reviews many times and I continue to receive products all the time. I rarely give 5 stars because my review was solicited. I feel by giving 4 stars it is helping offset the fact that my review was solicited. But when I do give 5 stars teh product deserves it. I think the only product I gave 5 stars in the past few weeks was for a set of flybar stilts for my son. they really deserve 5 stars.

Oz Naturals is another review site that only sells products for their brand. In this case, you can review skin care products for only a few dollars. This can be a good option for the health-conscious as Oz Naturals only use natural and organic active ingredients.

Many people have heard about the “6-pager” white paper practice. Often I need to write one-pager (high level of a program/project), two-pagers or six-pagers (the “white paper”), PRFAQs etc. They are very helpful for me to organize my thoughts and push me to develop thorough thinking, and to use data, voice of customers etc. to build a strong case. This is a very good practice to improve my personal capability, not just “something I have to do for my job”. Clear/concise/direct communication also works effective and widely acceptable here so that we can all be effective and focus.

Just as you can buy almost anything on Amazon, it is also possible to get almost anything for free or nearly free. Whether you want to join a program with flexible shopping options or only want to join one that offers products for one particular brand, there is an Amazon review site for you.

The Vanguard VIP Product Tester program is looking for photographers to give honest, unbiased feedback and share reviews for their binoculars and spotting scopes, tripods, camera bags, riflescopes and outdoor packs. Available for product testers in USA.

No, the OLEDs are identical across screen sizes. The only difference is that the larger sets can often be brighter, but this is the same with LCDs, and it’s not something you’re really ever going to notice without measurement tools.

There are more popping up all the time, but there are a select few with great reputations that you can be sure will deliver what they promise. After testing a whole range of sites ourselves we have come up with a list of the most trusted product testing sites below.

Hi Tristan! As others have said – THANK YOU for doing this article/blog, especially given the time you have invested in it, when you could have been reviewing a a few freebies during this time instead! 😉

I just started researching this to try out, I have never done this before. My question is I already have an Amazon prime account. Does this mean I have to use the email attached to prime account, or can I start a new email, like you suggested to have a dedicated email, for this review endeavor? Please let me know how I should do this. I rather open up a new email account so it’s separate from the one I use for my kids school, doctors, and personal things. Thank you in advance for your help.

I Love to Review (UK) is the sister site to the original USA version. I feel they are the most professional and well-run review site I have ever worked with. They even have an automated review checker so you don’t have to post them to your ILTR account! Only for reviewers in the UK.

Would love to be a Vine reviewer….I currently help people online at no cost when they encounter a problem with merchandise. I have also solved alot of issues here on Amazon when company’s blame Amazon for selling faulty products. Would love to review products!

The BEST site I have used for taking surveys and being paid for the surveys is called: oneopinion.com. Again, you need 25000 credits to cash out into paypal. Its VERY EASY to get them. Ive already cashed out for OVER $500.00 in 2 1/2months. They DONT charge a fee, wen you cash out, your money IMMEDIATELY goes into your paypal account, and at times, they send you products to test and do a survey on. I JUST received an additional 30.00 for a dog treat survey, on top of the 2500 points for the original survey. So, oneopinion.com is a site I would DEFINITELY recommend

eBay will remove product reviews if they are inappropriate, inaccurate or misplaced/not related to products, including reviews of a seller in the product review. We are monitoring for violations and users may report violations of this policy by clicking the report link in the content in question and the review will be reviewed by eBay and a decision will be made.

If you sell more than one product, you could give your customers a discount for another product. This may not be the best strategy in Amazon, as it may be considered a type of incentive, but it’s something to think about.

“get amazon products in exchange for review +amazon product review example”

Approach with extreme caution. The next step is deciding whether or not to respond to a piece of negative feedback. Here’s where things get tricky, because the situation can change depending on whether you are an Amazon reseller dealing with negative seller feedback, or whether the problem is a negative product review.

We really do wish we could give you an awesome list of sites where you could just plug away at asking for reviews. But the point is that this just takes digging. Every product is different and every online world surrounding a product type is vastly different. To see what we mean, have a look at the example below where a maternal clothing brand is being reviewed on mamabblog.com.

For those products that do not show as “Verified Purchase” I try to take some pictures and add them to my review. This way it demonstrates that I actually do have the product. And of I always write “I received this product free in return for my honest review.”

The world has changed since Amazon introduced its first smart speaker in 2014. Back then, the Echo was something of an oddity — a bookshelf speaker made interactive and, remarkably, truly useful through Amazon’s voice-activated Alexa virtual assistant. Since then, the company has expanded its lineup of smart speakers to include a variety of specialties, while continuing to build out Alexa’s arsenal of skills and integrations with third-party apps and smart home gadgets. And the world has caught up, too, pitting Amazon against an increasingly competitive market full of noteworthy rivals including Google, Sonos, and, soon, Apple.

Getting your customers to leave feedback on Amazon is a breeze, thanks to FeedbackFive’s automatic solicitation and timing rules. Customize your timing preferences so that customers receive emails at the time when they are most likely to open the message, click through, and leave feedback.

How I review is based on my personal experience with the item , value of the product for the price paid ( the listed price , not my discount ), quality of the product and if it really is as its listed . Everything I base my review on is the same as I base my reviews on full price items , I would be lying otherwise and not helping anyone who is really in the market .

I would say, mostly there are restricted to the U.S. consumers. That said it wouldn’t hurt to contact each site or at least check out their FAQ section to see if they accept members from other parts of the world.

That’s great that it has been around for years and years but like Jenni Li said it is a conflict of interest if the company that puts food on your table asks you to do a review for their book. Nobody with half a brain is going to write an actual review if it is bad. You might just as well go into your bosses office and kick him in the shins.

The original way to get items for free to review on Amazon was to become an Amazon Vine reviewer. Vine reviewers frequently receive free items in exchange for their honest opinions. While this sounds great, Amazon handpicks those people they want to be a part of the program. They have never disclosed what it takes to be chosen for the Vine program, but the consensus seems to be that it takes a combination of frequent reviewing and having those reviews be marked as “helpful” by other Amazon shoppers.

“Manufacturers aren’t necessarily trying to mask a terrible product,” Tarnoff said. “There are instances where a tactic could boost awareness of a product that people aren’t going to go out of their way to write a review of.”

I couldn’t find a single five-star review with a “Verified Purchase” tag confirming that the reviewer had bought the product. Meanwhile, every single one of the 19 one-star reviews for the Samcable dongles were verified purchases, and all had the same basic complaint: “Doesn’t work.” Here’s a taste of what you’d see from one-star reviews:

Btw product testing is legit I got a polaroid camera and the film with it from them and all you have to do is write a review and they will leave you alone unless you enter another one but it’s legit and awesome.

I understand what you are saying with the FCC regulation, but Amazon reviews fall in the gray area. FCC is going after businesses that promote products. Bloggers, journalists, business Twitter and Facebook accounts, all must disclose if the article/post was in any way supported by another company looking to profit from it. I’ve read it and have yet to see anything specifically stating reviews fall in that category. The reviewer is not profiting from it the way a blogger or business does. I could be wrong and welcome anyone sending me a link to counter it.

Obtaining Amazon Customer Reviews is no longer a part of ADG whatsoever. Further, the DealCoin system has been removed entirely, so you are not limited to the Deals you can redeem based on DealCoins. You are free to take advantage of as many Deals as you’d like without restriction.

By your argument we should probably ban wealthier people from writing reviews, because $100 does not hold the same value for me as it does for someone well above (or below) my standard of living. Just because two people pay the same dollar amount does not mean they incur the same cost.

I will check out your blog! I had Googled “test products for free” and the first thing that came up was a link to your blog about earning free money along with the article on Squidoo lol I liked that it was a real person that is testing stuff so I’m glad I commented on this!

#14 – Elite Deal Club – can’t order anything. Every time you click on a product to get the coupon code, you get a message that says “code not found”. I’ve even written emails to them, and still not working. A couple of people who are signed up with Elite Deal Club, get the same message. So, does not work.

I wish there were a way to follow reviewers on Amazon, lately I’ve found a few rare reviewers who say they received a discount – usually through Vine – but that the product was inadequate and then they extensively detail why it was poor for their needs.

“how to get products to review on amazon how to get free products for review on amazon”

Once your Amazon Profile has been updated and you are ready to start getting free products to review, be sure to check out my growing list of Amazon Review Sites for Free Products. Signing up for even just some of these will ensure you are busy with more review request emails than you ever though possible.

Instead of sending the product, you can ask the reviewer if they will accept an Amazon. Gift card via email for the purchase price. That way they are a verified buyer. Don’t do this in bulk unless you are Richie Rich.

Not only are the reviews syntactically bizarre, many of them appear to be written about phone chargers, not headphone dongles. This latter problem Amazon attributed to a technical error — different color options for the product were actually different products entirely — but if it’s an error, it’s a widespread one. As of this writing, these two-in-one Lightning splitter from eurHpandray had much the same problem: hundreds of five-star reviews, none of them verified purchases, with many listing different “color” options that are also seemingly for different products. In effect, this means that anyone who doesn’t spend inordinate amounts of time examining reviews would come away with the impression that the individual product had hundreds of positive reviews.

While Vine members used to receive a monthly newsletter featuring books and other products they chose from to review — with products valued at anywhere from a few dollars to close to $1,000 — they now have access to a rolling list of items they can order at any time. According to NPR, Vine members cannot sell or give items received through the program away and Amazon can ask for the items back — although they don’t appear to do that.

Amazon tracks gift cards and promo codes now, which means his product review will not show up anyway. You wont get banned, you just wont get the review, especially since they added the fact it was incentivized.

Hi! Have you tried influester, Crowdtap or The Pink Panel? The Pink Panel you test beauty or hair products and often will be rewarded with Amazon gift cards or keep the product. Crowdtap I signed up a few months ago and have received lots of good stuff and they have a monthly gift card giveaway. Influester you can received beauty boxes if you stay active on their website. www.influenster.com/r/1402512

I tried this with some success, but only got 10% or less who actually reviewed the book. For the most part, it was a successful effort as I got realistic reviews and many people did like the book. BUT, there are some wild and crazy folks out there who do things like complain that on page ten you used the word rouge and they don’t like that word. Or who find two grammar mistakes and claim it makes the book unreadable and so they give you a 2 star review. That’s okay, because that is the person’s honest opinion, but I finally got tired of these folks, and of the folks who took a free copy and then had not reviewed the book six months later. I am going to give up on this self-publishing thing, though I admit it has been fun.

I am a BzzAgent, and it took about a month before I got anything to try even after filling out what seemed like a hundred surveys. Now, I am bombarded with products and having a blast. Please hang in. I almost gave up on them, but I’m glad I didn’t.

As of now, the Echo is available in the US, Germany and the UK. One of the challenges in launching the Echo in a range of countries is making sure Alexa understands different accents and knows when words are used in different contexts.

Unlike Amazon’s in-house Vine review program that is invitation only, anybody can apply to become a shopper on these Amazon review sites. If you like trying out products and leaving honest feedback, you are an excellent candidate for reviewing products sold on Amazon.

Tomoson – Connects you with companies that want their products reviewed in multiple places (Amazon, personal blogs, etc). You apply and if you’re accepted, you get the product free shipped through Amazon.

Trek to Teach is a nonprofit organization that sends fluent English speakers to teach in Nepal near the Himalayas. In addition to teaching, Trek to Teach strengthens local communities by helping schools build infrastructure, paint their classrooms, and find furniture.

For Bad Amazon Product Reviews: Responding publically may add further damage, especially if others take the side of the reviewer. Look forward to burying this negative review with new positive ones. Amazon will remove a review in specific cases like those involving privacy violations or obscene language, but these situations aren’t common.

The problem is that AmzRC does not give you any control over who snags your coupons. One person can grab a lot of them and then resell them. This is theft and a double whammy. Once you lose money when you sell your products heavily discounted and you lose again when he steals your customers with your own free or discounted product.

Hey Shannon! I would say, always complete the surveys the survey panels will send you to your email box. Some surveys will end up being a product test for you to do at home. Some people get a lot of products to test and some do not, it all depends on what the company is looking for to review their products.

But unlike Siri, which is still secondary to touch as a means of with iOS devices, Alexa is essentially all the Echo has. It was critical for Amazon to get her right — thankfully, she delivers (and yes, calling Alexa “she” feels more correct than calling Alexa “it,” a testament to how personable she is).

I mostly agree, but I’ve been on Amazon since 1996 and don’t think I’ve ever received an invite. It’s possible that I received an invite when Vine debut, but turned it down because I was too busy at the time and just never received another one. Regardless, I’ve purchased a lot on Amazon and have written reviews for almost everything, simply because I believe reviews are important to online shopping, but I’ve waited for a Vine invite for years without receiving one.

If Amazon actually made it as easy to post reviews about the shipping and purchase process as for products themselves, then I would believe they actually care about that. But they don’t because they don’t want their own problems highlighted. It’s not as if this was unintentional; Bezos’ “Iron Rule” is not that ignorant.

The bottomline is the introduction of bias and this lengthy response confirms that for me. I appreciate an emotional reaction to a product because #human so bashing those out of hand further emphasizes a departure from what a regular reader is looking for in the Amazon reviews. I greatly value review authors who employ a more systematic approach but my personal feeling is that a review made by a person looking for a specific product for their use and then buying it with their own money will always be more valuable to me than a review created after getting the product free. When I want those types of reviews, I visit a site like the wirecutter outside of the Amazon reviews environment so I have some context for where the bias is coming from. I loved this article for taking these reviews to task!! Thank you!!

They’re looking for bloggers, website owners, online publishers, journalists, YouTubers, Amazon reviewers (Vine), Yelpers, podcast show hosts, and other reviewers worldwide.  They fill out our easy Product Offer Form (HERE).  Then we publish their requests for reviews in our free email newsletters.

Missed that. I’m glad FakeSpot is using that investigation technique. I find it just as effective as checking the product’s review dates. To me, they go hand in hand. Unfortunately TheWireCutter neglects to mention that method in their “How We Spot a Phony Review”.

Looks like he was actually wiped from amazon at some point. It is happening more. They can wipe without warning or reason and probably assume he violated something. Not giving the specific reason does not allow the person the ability to properly defend and appeal. They have plenty of customers. .they could care less. They violate rules themselves. In turn they are hurting the reviewers, sellers, and finally themselves. They need to revamp their method of plan, control, and rules. The rules are vague.

So based on that, I personally don’t think ProductTestingUsa.com is a real legit product testing company. Keep in mind that this is from my very limited interaction with their website and that of Tracy’s experience.

The Bad: EA put too much hype out there about it for way too long. They had everyone drooling over this games possibilities for YEARS. Talking like if gamers played this game every day, all day, it would take almost 80 years for them to explore all the games possible stars in the galaxy. And of course when the makers of Sims say something like that, it’s very believable and appealing. But the game just didn’t live up to the hype.

I don’t think there is much you can do, Tracy. Keep in mind that when they do these product testing runs, they are looking for specifics demographic (basically their main consumers), so based on the info you provided, you may not be a good fit for any of their tests so far. That’s why I recommend joining multiple sites so you can increase your odds.

There are no hard stats. Review writing is not a science. It’s all subjective, both Vine reviews and non-Vine reviews. Sure, some judge less harshly because they got the items for free, just as some judge more harshly because want to prove their opinion was not bought.

You don’t need Vine to participate in Amazon giveaway’s and discounts. Check out amzrc.com for some awesome deals that you can get for a huge discount. Just leave an honest review in exchange for getting such a great deal!

Once you get the approval to test, the company will ask for your address to send you the product to test for a week or two.  Then, they’ll follow up with you with an email asking questions about the product you’ve tested.  When you’re done, you get paid!  WOO HOO!

Your link goes to some funky text-only page. The original link is—Milwaukee 2621-20 M18 Sawzall Reciprocating Saw – tool Only – – Amazon.com. You really have to wonder about mostly 5 star reviews and a few 4 star ones and no lower ratings. And the one-liners that comprise the majority. There is even a one-worder! Frankly I always look for the most critical reviews. I never read 4 and 5 star reviews. I assume most of them are fake or by naive star-struck buyers who haven’t spent any time with the tool.

4. Once on the Seller’s details page, look to the right side for blue outlined box and a link near the bottom of it in a paragraph starting with “For questions regarding products”. Click it (you will be asked to log in.) See screenshot:

You are in no way obligated to give them a ‘good’ review, as you know. My advice is to simply respond with “I would love to review this, thanks!” After you get the product, feel free to send them feedback about asking you to write a ‘good’ review. Again, in my experience, no Seller has ever responded to my critiques of their emails. Which is why I wrote a blog post on the subject of writing better emails to Reviewers.

i have a product on amazon and it’s clear competitors have written negative reviews, to the effect of “I have never bought this product, but it’s a 1-star because xyz”. How do I get these review removed?!

I spoke with some of the campaign companies and they say that getting new reviewers is not the problem, it’s getting enough sellers to supply all the demand from reviewers. Another chicken and the egg problem—an ongoing balancing act.

If you want a good example of fake GOOD book reviews though, try looking at Ryan Holiday’s “Trust Me, I’m Lying.” And then read the “most helpful” (and practically sole) one-star review on the page. Hilarious.

3.      Request Amazon reviews via newsletter and social media. Chances are, the folks subscribed to your newsletter and your fans on Facebook already like you, so why not ask them for reviews? There’s a decent chance they’ve already bought a product from you, so they can provide legitimate, positive Amazon customer reviews. In our article about getting reviews on Yelp, we noted that Yelp discouraged directly soliciting reviews. Amazon, on the other hand, is much more lax.

Based on all the great feedback and comments, I am looking to spin up a website for reviewers where we can all get together and learn from each other, share stories and information. Does anyone have interest in something like that?

In my opinion they’re not requiring it, just strongly suggesting what they’d like. I actually had to deal with a seller yesterday who emailed me about a previous review that they claimed was hurting sales. I had given an item 3 stars and they wanted me to change it to four or more.

There are more popping up all the time, but there are a select few with great reputations that you can be sure will deliver what they promise. After testing a whole range of sites ourselves we have come up with a list of the most trusted product testing sites below.

That’s great that it has been around for years and years but like Jenni Li said it is a conflict of interest if the company that puts food on your table asks you to do a review for their book. Nobody with half a brain is going to write an actual review if it is bad. You might just as well go into your bosses office and kick him in the shins.

I know, I know….I should just type and not bother with any edits until I finish completely. But I’m a little OCD, and as soon as an error pops up I have to fix it. I’ve gone back and forth with editors, professors, up to and including my wife! But it’s just me, as my compulsion forces me to fix edits as I go. Grammarly has been very helpful, working along with me, together merrily Fixing edits as we go and keeping my blood pressure down!

Thank you for such valuable information, Lou! I’m commenting on your reply regarding ProductTestingUSA.com being a scam. It would be nice to note in the main article if possible, since not everyone will read all the comments.

hello Louida, am happy to meet you at last.i have been looking for someone like you,my name is Francis cosmos, please i want you to be my online mentor please reply via my email frankume@yahoo.com MAY GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY AMEN.

Do you have one main Twitter account or multiple accounts for each company? Would there be a conflict with writing reviews/feedback on products for different companies (i.e Influenster, Smiley360, etc) on the same account?

What I want to know is how in the world do I delete my AMZ Review Trader account? I’ve tried contacting them through their page and through facebook with just an automated response telling me they will not respond to my email and to go to their help section. I feel that this is a really shady website and I no longer wish to deal with them and the fact that there is no way to delete my account makes me even more suspicious. Has anybody successfully deleted their account with them? I don’t want them having my info anymore.

At No Kidding Coupon, my coupon to get a product did not work on amazon. I also was unable to reset my password when I had trouble logging into their site. Their Facebook page doesnt have activity since 2014 but I did post a question there anyway hoping to get a reply.

Once your Amazon Profile has been updated and you are ready to start getting free products to review, be sure to check out my growing list of Amazon Review Sites for Free Products. Signing up for even just some of these will ensure you are busy with more review request emails than you ever though possible.

Update: Amazon Review Sites can no longer require you to leave a review, but they are strongly encouraged. By having a strong Amazon Profile, you’re more likely to have sellers approve you for a discounted product.

I’ll admit it. Shopping for a personal tank can be a bit daunting. Many times in the past I’ve purchased overpriced, so-called “battle tanks”, then driven them into battle only to be wrecked in ten minutes by the first blow off of some insurgents home-made morter.

It is in Amazon’s best interest for products to have positive reviews – this builds faith in the Amazon Marketplace (makes people feel good about any potential purchase) and encourages sellers to pay for amazon shill services, (VINE) much like YELP extorts local business owners.

I ask it for the morning headlines as I brew my 8 a.m. pot of coffee. I ask it to play the most recent episode of my favorite podcast while I work out. I ask it to set a timer when I throw a frozen pizza in the oven for dinner. I ask it to turn my lights out when I’m hitting the sack. It’s always listening, and it always just works.

You make it sound like dishonesty is some sort of requirement. If you hate everything and rate it all 1-star, they will still keep sending you stuff. I’ve never heard of someone being kicked out of Vine for being too honest. The more common problem is people selecting items for review that they either never took out of the box, only gave a cursory examination of or didn’t know how to use (or literally could not use).

Such a cool article here. I am always looking forward this author and other authors on Wirecutter. I think the authors are far more intelligent than other authors you find elsewhere. Many of them are alos very funny. Sometimes I laugh and laugh and laugh.

“get free products for amazon reviews -how do i get free amazon products to review”

One major piece of information that Amazon does not share is how often it invites users to the Vine program, so it’s never really clear if Amazon is actively recruiting new reviewers. So if you want to be considered, you’ll simply have to keep at it. Most anecdotes found online of Vine members being invited are somewhat dated at this point.

So how do you become one of Amazon’s most trusted reviewers? Amazon will reach out to you if they feel you are a good fit for the program but the company does offer some guidance on what it’s looking for in a Vine Voice.

This is a review program run by Milliard Brands to get reviews for their own line of “bedding, pet supplies, pool items, cleaning products, yoga and fitness equipment, organic teas and nuts, candies, grocery items, and more.” Available for reviewers in USA.

In addition, starting May 6, product reviews will be available for all eligible listings. eBay sellers who previously opted out of product reviews on My eBay will be opted back into product reviews. If you opted out and want to opt in to take advantage of the benefits of product reviews before May 6, you can do so on My eBay.

So, just know that you can’t always believe what you see when it comes to five-star reviews. While some overnight successes do exist, often a four-star product with authentic reviews and a proven track record is a better buy. Look beyond the overall star rating and read with a critical eye, and you’ll be in good shape.

That’s just bullshit because amazon allows reviews without purchasing and its different from the rest because amazon has a stake in kindle and they profit more no matter what on digital content. That would be illegally allowing that market to be inuenced only based on there own guaranteed financial gains. On top of membership access fees for kindle

Some Amazon reviews provide useful information to help you decide whether to buy a particular product or not. Other reviews are useless, like the ones where people give something a one star just because it arrived late. But there’s another type of review that’s neither useful nor useless, but what they lack in helpfulness, they make up for in pure hilarity. Take a look at these funny Amazon reviews to see what we mean. Compiled by Bored Panda, this creative list of customer feedback won’t help you to buy anything, but it’ll certainly help to put a smile on your face.

Still, the problem remained: How could I make sure I wasn’t caught stuck on an airplane again without a dongle for a pair of earbuds? After digging around further, I ended up settling on something a bit more mundane than buying a three-pack of dongles of dubious quality. My search led me to the (unfortunately named) Dongle Dangler, which lets me stick my Lightning dongle on my key chain.

A slew of new sites offering cash back have popped up to help you save at checkout. One popular option, Ebates.com, lets you opt for scheduling in-store pickups instead of delivery, if that’s more convenient for you. The pickup option also guarantees you don’t pay for shipping.

Yes, but the point is that *most* people will have skewed opinions because they recieve the product at a discounted price. You might be honest and try to take prices into account, but you are a minority. The author (or people who “paint a negative brush”) is not saying that you might be dishonest, but a lot more people are and it effects the results no matter how you like it or not. That includes complaining here.

Yes with BzzAgent you do get points you can use on MyPoints.com to use your points on getting free merchandise. I actually never spend my points and just let it expire since all I care about with BzzAgent is getting the free products to test.

What you are asking for is SEO related. You can always ask people to write a review, but I would suggest that if you are looking for an increase in traffic you buy ads with search engines, or improve your SEO and content strategy. I do not have any recommendations for SEO experts.

If you are selling a book, then perhaps even insert a link (or short description) on How To write a (book)review. If you have just one or two reviews, then insert the topic as a quote and just ask your customers if they agree.

I got a message that my review was removed because they think I knew the seller and my review was biased. Um, no and no. This is what it said, ““Amazon does not permit reviews from customers whose relationship to the product or seller may be perceived as biased”. So I guess they won’t be picking me as a Vine Reviewer. I do have 50 helpful votes and over 100 reviews.

Overall, it’s a great game for a 9 year old kid. Some people think the game is shallow and have all sorts of critiques, but my son thinks it is fun and I think the concept of the game is cute. I don’t really care about DRM issues in general because I had only planned for my son to use it on his computer; however, with EA’s history of customer service and the suspected hacking of their key codes, it does become a problem.

This tank R-O-C-K-S! Literally- the 400-watt sound-system keeps me rockin like a crazy man as I’m dishing out justice commando style. Wow. I just can’t say enough. And the kids love it, too- imagine the look of terror in the eyes of the enemy as I’m dropping off my kid’s team to their soccer game. Shock and awe, my friends, SHOCK AND AWE!

Four of the largest health insurers were seeking separate mergers. CR raised concerns about how the move would cut choices, drive up costs and compromise quality, pressing the Justice Department to block them.

The top reviewers for Amazon have earned their status for a reason; they review everything from books to electronics, and other consumers rank their reviews as useful. While you might assume these reviewers are out of your reach—after all, they likely receive hundreds of requests a day—they are still worth contacting. Even if only a few end up reviewing your book, their reviews could make all the difference.

I recommend reviewing products you are interested in getting more of (and own, of course.) So, if you are looking to get more baby or audio products, then make sure you review a lot of baby and audio products. I recently reviewed a few of the popular baby toys and items around the house, and now I get hit up about baby items A LOT. The key is to review popular or mainstream items. I believe suppliers often target those reviewers first since there are usually hundreds of reviewers to choose from. In fact, some suppliers have told me that they found me via another item’s review I wrote.

Thank you for the clarification DeJay, and sorry for seeming so offended. In truth, I may have been a tad bit reactionary, which is soooo unlike me and now I’m embarrassed… Regardless of my unintended act of muddying the waters, I do see your point and agree. Admittedly, I sometimes wonder where the hell some of those suggestions “based on my browsing history” come from. An algorithm which is far beyond my capacity to understand, no doubt.

I have the same question that others here do. I looked at the page of Amazon reviewers, and while they all sound like wonderful people, there is no contact information. It sounds like ” Don’t call us, we’ll call you.”

We say: Toluna is pretty much the best site out there when it comes to getting free products and rewards for your views. You simply sign up for a free account (click here), then you can choose to start testing products or select various polls to answer.

The gift card layering method is another frequently used tool by savvy shoppers. If you know you have to make a purchase from a certain retailer, such as Starbucks or Amazon, you can first purchase a gift card that comes with a discount. For example, at GiftCardGranny.com or Raise.com, you might be able to buy a $50 gift card for $40, which shaves an automatic $10 off your purchase.

I filled out so many testing item surveys it’s not funny. It’s been s few months and I don’t even get any emails for anything related to the site. It’s not worth it. I also did the surveys for offer bucks.com and you have to have all 10 validated before you get your $100, I have only had one validated and it’s been months. I emailed them twice and never got a response. Don’t waste your time like I did.

That is a great tip to you actually own the product! As for tips on taking better product photography, I would say not to worry about it. The pictures should look natural and from your point of view. If they start to look too good or staged, a person could think they are not from a real person but from the company themselves.

I mentioned that an Amazon rep emailed me in response to an issue and told me in the course of our correspondence of the vine club; yet I was told repeatedly that just wasn’t so or possible. How do these people know who has contacted me? They don’t. I actually have the emails saved. Amazon has always had the best customer service or it has been my experience. I never would have believed that they allowed such to go on when they give this link to get help on products etc. Not one conversation I found was about about product. The conversations taking place were about club reviewers and how they would be purged and done away with. Matter of fact, I was told it was coming for me and I would no longer be an Amazon reviewer when Amazon was done with me.

5. Make contact. Once you identify potential reviewers, reach out to them explaining that you discovered their review on Amazon. Explain that you have a book or product that you think may be of interest to them, and would like to send it to them. Further explain that you are seeking an honest review of the item you send, but that they don’t have an obligation (this process is about inviting reviews, not forcing reviews). About 50 percent of the people who get my book, will post an honest review. And yes, there have been occasions where someone I identified in this method destroyed my book in their review, but that is the nature of a good review process.

As for the second criteria – Amazon looks for your interest and expertise in specific product categories. Anecdotal evidence shows that sticking to one product category, and becoming a recognized and helpful expert in that field gives you a better chance of becoming a Vine member.

“amazon product review deals -how do you get to review products for free on amazon”

Choose your link text wisely – It’s normal for people to link back to your website with link text that is simply your domain name (ex: http://mywebsite.com ).  You should ask them to occasionally change the link text to the keywords that you want to rank for on the search engines. For example if you want to rank for “cheap widget” then your link text should be “cheap widget”.

As the name implies, the focus is on Toilet Tree products. At the point of writing, they claim that their membership number is adequate and not looking out for more. But they use to recruit new members on weekly basis. So just fill out the form and they will get in touch if they see you as a good addition to their pool of members.

Amazon tracks gift cards and promo codes now, which means his product review will not show up anyway. You wont get banned, you just wont get the review, especially since they added the fact it was incentivized.

Yes it took awhile for me to get anything too Remi. The key is to keep completing their surveys and once you do start getting products to review make sure to do the different task they would like you to do. Do that, you’ll be bombarded with a bunch of great products!

If you haven’t tried this game, or you want something for your kids to try, this is it! It kind of teaches them the history of civilization from a single cell organism to a superpower to a space exploring civilization. Fun, entertaining, and overall can bring out a lot of creativity, strategy and brain-use in a fun way!

If you are selling a book, then perhaps even insert a link (or short description) on How To write a (book)review. If you have just one or two reviews, then insert the topic as a quote and just ask your customers if they agree.

It’s still too many steps for most people, and it’s under something called “All Formats” — that is why I was unaware of it, because the phrase “All Formats” didn’t really tell me what it was doing. It also doesn’t show the average review out of the smaller subset of reviews when filtered, unless I missed it.

I’ve not, but thanks for the information. It seems to me the best, and most unbiased, straight-forward way to become a reviewer is just as Tristan has described. I’ve always reviewed my products, and admittedly many of mine are very good (I do a TON of research in advance of virtually any purchase, and am happy to report that is the primary reason for so many four star and higher reviews).

That’s just stupid way to say its a stupid guess. If I buy headphones that light up or l LA Gear shoes that light up guess what i would brag about. Just if I bought healys. The wheels. If your a new company I’m sure they do a few adds and post on there own Instagram or facebook pages. I always look for the cheaper version. If I get it I open all my mail over the counter I can see why a counter would be in the back ground or even the foreground. My question is how can I get this great free stuff to review. And my next question is why can’t I say I’m an official tester for myself or my blog and charge for reviews. If I order the product and its only available in amazon and I buy it regardless if review or not then is that not unfair and a monopoly almost from amazon as well. I get it you have to only sell there products at there prices and fees and they are also secret investors in new products making there reviews of any product invested in by amazon or any of its st an holders major ftc violations if they in any way have any of there own products invested or owned by them or an affiliate. Its all conflict of interest law but who is in the worst amazon because its double and triple dipping.

—— “I wanted to reply to this and let you know that what you’re asking as far as the request that I “click the customer reviews….kindly click the yes for us…” that is expressly forbidden by Amazon’s rules and can get me banned from further reviewing any products and get your company sued. Amazon is really cracking down on this and it’s a huge deal. Also, for me personally, this goes against what I feel is ethically is right and wrong. After I’ve used and have an opinion on your product I might be able to say that another review helped me, but I cannot do so before I’ve ever tried it.

As I said in another comment, Vine Voices are selected by Amazon based on the qualities of the reviews the people have written. I see nothing wrong with it; I get free books via NetGalley, which I review because I love books. If I had paid for them, I’d review them in exactly the same way.

In a study of U.S. Department of Agriculture data, CR found pesticide levels in some fruits and vegetables were too high. Shortly after, one of the pesticides was banned for use on food crops commonly consumed by children.

For example, sports fans can ask for the result of the latest “Spurs game.” The US version of the Echo will know you probably mean the San Antonio Spurs and give you a basketball result, while the UK version knows you mean Tottenham Hotspur and gives you a soccer result. The UK version also gives you British English spellings and jokey Easter eggs relating to British cultural touchstones like “Monty Python,” among a number of other uniquely UK-focused features. Check out the video above to see some of those British features in action.

“receive free products for amazon reviews _how to get products to review on amazon”

Any feedback you can provide will be appreciated. I am very frustrated as this is increasing the time I am spending attempting to navigate obtaining products and managing the entire process. I am performing a job search and the time I spend on product review is intended to give me a mindless break in between completing job applications.

Some of the negative votes are real people, while some are clearly trolls. A way to spot trolls is that they often vote negative across all recent reviews, so look for lots of “0 of 1” or “0 of 2” voting patterns for a particular product. Comment trolls are on the rise as well, where they reply to your review with a nasty comment about the fact that you got the product for free. Again, they tend to write the same thing across a number of recent reviews for a product.

I get quite a few products from EarningStation Panel and pay is very well when it comes to product testing.  I get stuff like foods, beauty products, and household items. There was a time I was paid $50 for testing a product not yet in stores. Definitely sign up with EarningStation! 💰 Pays by Cash and Gift Cards

Frosty, I think you may have misunderstood what Venushakti Velatura was conveying. VV was being paid to write fake reviews – it was her job. So, yes, in fact, “those companies” WERE telling VV to compose positive and (VV states) negative reviews. She didn’t get free or discounted products, she (I assume VV is female if that is her real picture) didn’t get products AT ALL. She put food on the table by writing fiction, either to boost sales or undermine competitors, depending, apparently, on her assignment.

We cut drives with reported speeds significantly slower than our previous pick, including popular models from Kingston, Lexar, Patriot, SanDisk, Transcend, and others. We also eliminated drives with SSD controllers because the few models out there are too expensive unless you absolutely need the fastest storage you can get.

Reviews may get taken down if others label them inaccurate or if they don’t comply with Google’s review policies. You can’t contact someone who left an inappropriate review, but you can request that Google remove it.

Thanks for the tips. I’ve actually been using personal information that’s close to mine so easy to remember but not really me. Real address though; haven’t figured out a convenient way around that one.

I bought an item based on its good reviews, all 5 star, and was not pleased with it. I left a 3 star review. The Amazon seller emailed me and offered to send me another for free if I removed the three star review. Shady.

Oh, and to those who are afraid of Amazon having a problem with these free for review sites…..they only take issue with it if you DO NOT disclose that you received the item for free or at a discount. As long as you clearly disclose that in every review you should be fine. I add this statement: “I received this item at a discount in exchange for my honest & unbiased review” at the end of every review and i’ve never had a problem. Once I forgot to add it & they emailed me that my review could not be posted. I corrected the review & then they posted it. Just be sure to actually test out the item and leave a real & honest review. If it looks suspect to them and they think it is a fake/dishonest review (if they see you cut & paste the same content in all your reviews or if you are posting the reviews before the item has even been delivered, that sort of thing) then of course you may get banned.

One other thing to look out for is reviews for the wrong product. A terrible thing that Amazon has done is allows sellers to list multiple unrelated products under one listing so you don’t even know what you are reading a review for. This function was supposed to be used to allow listing of variations of the exact same product like color, size, etc…, but now is being widely abused to list totally different items for the sake of reviews and price-based search results. For example, someone might sell a camera flash and a tripod and full studio kit all under one listing. When you read the reviews, you see a bunch of people raving about how great the product was and you assume it is for the flash you are looking at, but they are all really for the tripod and the one flash review was bad. I have reported this and Amazon simply does not care.

Book bloggers have the uncanny ability to passionately and tirelessly spread the word about their views—and reviews. Unfortunately, many review books on their personal websites and blogs, and not all are posting those reviews (or variations thereof) on Amazon. But don’t let that stop you.

Thank you very much for this post, as obviously your advice was crucial and as a result of taking it, I’m hopefully now about to review my first product as an official “reviewer!” I say “hopefully,” because I’ve not yet received a reply to my acceptance of the offer.

Thanks, Lou. I just got into L’Oreal’s panel right away through your link, too. But for the others, I’m wondering how long it will take to get invited. I’ve answered or got screened out of over 1,000 surveys total. Looking for some other ways to earn, some variety. Love your blog pages — so colorful and nicely arranged. Makes me want to blog again. A little. 🙂

What about Offerbucks ? It’s suppose to be a site that offers you money for doing offers. I looked at a site that gave it a 99% legit rating and it’s partnered with Product Testing USA, Just wasn’t sure if I should trust it.

Seems to me, that Amazon should be suing Fiverr right along with the other 4 that are paying for reviews (http://time.com/3817401/amazon-sues-fake-reviews/), as it seems to me what Fiverr is doing, is just as illegal.

When we say that we will get you a product review on social media, we mean it. We will research your product features in order to give them most relevant and accurate description. We do not tolerate clichés and carelessness! Neither you, nor your buyers will be disappointed.

Melinda, Always submit your text review first. They are approved quicker than reviews with images/videos. After it has successfully posted (check your Profile area to see which ones are complete or watch for the email) go back and Edit your review to include the pictures/video. Right under the Text/Comment field, on the right there is a button that says Upload , it is to the left of the Submit button. Hit Upload and browse to your files. If you have a video, do that before single images. Uploading a video can take a while, a blue progress bar under the Video icon will show you your status. While that is uploading you can add your pictures. When they are all uploaded, hit Submit.

To get started, you will need a Facebook account. Most sites either require an email address or valid phone number, so this registration method is a little different but makes sense as Loot Hoot is a global website. It is free to join Loot Hoot.

Really, thank you so much. I’ve just managed to order for a review a “Revision & Exam Success Hypnosis CD”, hopefully this will help give my 13 year old some tips. Again, another product that I would never purchase off my own back. I’m loving this reviewing lark 🙂

Funny but I’ve been shopping for Bluetooth head phones recently and did order an Anker branded set for my downstairs tenant, though not the same one as you linked to on RM — guessing a newer model because it had better specs. Anyway, reason I chose it was the believable good reviews and my own past experience with that company’s peripherals such as USB chargers and power cords, all of which I found to be excellent; plus, they offered the lowest price among all the many clones. And the magnetic earphones I received really ARE superb, equal in sound quality I think to the Plantronics Backbeat Fit (which I hesitate to otherwise recommend because it seems most of those sold come DOA) and held a charge for the advertised 7 or 8 hours play time. I did leave a five star review of the Anker despite only having had the chance to test it for a day (though as thoroughly as possible, both in my own apartment paired with my iPad and downstairs with a BT tranceiver) and would even have purchased a set but the price jumped five bucks after my review was published, D’oh!

There are no limits to how many deals you can claim each day after 2 pm EST. Each morning, you are only allowed to claim one deal to provide opportunities for other club members. Elite Deal Club sends out a daily email with 100-200 offers. Many people recommend Elite Deal Club for electronics and accessories including phone cases.

There are no hard stats. Review writing is not a science. It’s all subjective, both Vine reviews and non-Vine reviews. Sure, some judge less harshly because they got the items for free, just as some judge more harshly because they want to prove their opinion was not bought.

Customer reviews are one of the most valuable tools we offer customers for making informed purchase decisions, and we work hard to make sure they are doing their job. In just the past year, we’ve improved review ratings by introducing a machine learned algorithm that gives more weight to newer, more helpful reviews; applying stricter criteria to qualify for the Amazon verified purchase badge; and suspending, banning or suing thousands of individuals for attempting to manipulate reviews.

Self-publishing is the most unrewarding soul crushing experience! LOL! I would recommend self-publishing to my enemies as a way to destroy them. Unless you plan to write short stories and not commit too much time to writing, marketing, promoting, etc – STAY AWAY FROM SELF-PUBLISHING!!!

Have you ever gone to a play and gave a standing ovation at the end? You have, right? And chances are you didn’t start the standing O. It’s unlikely you were even the third or fourth to stand. Chances are you stood up and clapped like a seal only when it was clear that an ovation trend had started. This is the power of social proof.

as a result of my experiences in the last year or two, i generally no longer trust amazon enough to purchase items sold or fulfilled by them. instead, if i need to purchase something from a smaller manufacturer that i find on amazon, i now go directly to their own website, if they have one, where i can be sure i’m getting the real thing and there is an assurance of quality and accountability.”

(2) Once you go through the install process, click NO when it asks if you want to install the updates. According to what I read, if you say YES, it assumes a previous install/registration has taken place and then the game won’t run at all. If you happen to go through the updates, just uninstall the software via their instructions and start over. This shouldn’t affect anything since the key code was never entered. Others have stated that once you register and start the game the first time, just quit and restart the game to do the updates then.

Once your Amazon Profile has been updated and you are ready to start getting free products to review, be sure to check out my growing list of Amazon Review Sites for Free Products. Signing up for even just some of these will ensure you are busy with more review request emails than you ever though possible.

Try the product then leave your review. Seller’s are hoping for a 4 or 5 star review from. If the product did not meet your expectations, you can always contact the seller before leaving the review. If they feel that you received a defective item, (and this all varies by seller) they may send you another product.

Some of these sites have a stupid point earning system, or only let you get 2 deals at a time. Don’t bother with this nonsense when there are other sites that will let you get 10, 20 or more deals at a time without having to earn points. And I let them know too how I feel about this, since they don’t tell you this until you have wasted your time enrolling with them. =(

You are not required to leave a 5-Star review. If it deserves 5 stars, give it 5 stars; If it deserves 1 star, give it 1 star. Don’t let a seller or group bully you into a good review for a bad product.

At this point, I was deeply leery of buying any dongle off of Amazon. But I was much more curious about the reviews themselves. Clearly, these reviews were unreliable. But how did they get there? And was there a way to sort out the sham reviews from honest feedback?

You know that review site we have all been looking for? The one that has a close relationship with reviewers and offers high end products for review? Yeah? Well, after talking with the owner, it sounds like Review Directory is that review site! Available to product testers and bloggers in the UK, USA, France, germany, Canada, Israel, Spain, and Italy.

“how to receive free amazon products for review products to review on amazon”

This site has one of the largest public marketplaces I have ever seen on a review site! Lots of ladies fashion, phone accessories, cables, umbrellas, jewelry, and toys (at time of writing.) Available to reviewers in USA.

Trust Review Network has some enticing offers on their homepage. You can buy valuable items like unlocked smartphones, laptops, and mini espresso machines for pennies on the dollar. In regards to the smartphones, the normal retail price is $179.99 and they can be purchased for $0.99.

If you want to receive free products from sellers my advice is write lots detailed & high quality reviews, also include several photo’s with every review. You want people to read your review and find it helpful, the more helpful votes you get the quicker you will climb the rankings. Also, even though you can review items you haven’t purchased from Amazon, those you have bought from Amazon will carry more weight and will have a greater affect on your ranking. I found that as soon as I got in the top 10,000 I started to receive emails from sellers, but you want to get as high up the rankings as you possibly can. Finally, if possible try to form relationships with the best sellers as they will trust you and offer you products on a regular basis.

Please be careful, some of the ones on your list are against Amazon Reviewer and Seller Terms of Service and you will have your profile flagged and possible account removal. Stopped going through your list when I hit “Deals for Reviews”. It is against Amazon TOS to offer additional incentives (IE Random winners of gift cards) to reviewers other than just the free product. Reviews are also being deleted left and right because sellers are abusing the reviewer rights by manipulating the system by offering too many free products for free or at discounts to get their ranks up. Won’t be long before the Amazon terms will be changed again and ALL of these sites will fall.

I also do reviews for a tech company on Amazon. Luckily their products are great so I am genuinely giving positive reviews. I gave a few bad reviews when necessary like when this power inverter buzzed after I hooked it up to an LED strip. I didn’t catch it in my initial review, but went back and added it. I do not see a big issue with people like me, but the wholesale purchase of positive reviews from a review mill takes it a bit far.

How I review is based on my personal experience with the item , value of the product for the price paid ( the listed price , not my discount ), quality of the product and if it really is as its listed . Everything I base my review on is the same as I base my reviews on full price items , I would be lying otherwise and not helping anyone who is really in the market .

The article makes no mention of clicking on the user name and seeing their review history. I clicked on a user yesterday, and she had a history of 16 reviews…all on the same day. Apparently TheWireCutter never thought of doing that. Unimpressed.

Arctic has partnered with Ryzen and Intel to test their electronics cooler units as a product tester. This can be a “cool” option if you like to make money playing games online. As their products are top-notch and they are also partnering with two other prestigious computer technology developers this can be a great opportunity to help influence the marketplace.

I have used over 25 codes and all have gone through for me. You have to open the unberclub email asap to still have codes available that work and aren’t sold out. Good luck ladies. I would say 1 in 10 codes don’t work by time I get the item into my inbox.

s mentioned above, I highly recommend you start reviewing items around the house/office you use often so companies can get an idea of how you write. Also, keep in mind that the type of products review can dictate what companies contact you. If you only review headphones, you will likely get more requests to review headphones.

You either like what the person wrote about the product, or you don’t. If you don’t, you move along to the next post/review. People that write good reviews, would get voted up/aka rewarded with a higher percentage, those who don’t offer a good review won’t get the praise – or the increase in percentage.

As for the typos and grammar, keep in mind that the vast majority of Sellers I have dealt with do not call English their first language. Many of these emails originate from overseas, and many are form letters to start. I normally don’t judge the quality of the offer based on that.

Once you have framed and asked for the review and created the URL for them to leave that review, you need to design the marketing insert. This shouldn’t be too hard nor too complicated if you have a designer in your team. But even if you don’t, you should try to make it as simple as possible, as long as your branding doesn’t get affected.

Maintaining competitive pricing 24/7 is also crucial to your ability to win the Buy Box. With our sister product, RepricerExpress, you can automate Amazon pricing and beat your competitors to the Buy Box more easily.

5.      Reach out with a thoughtful e-mail. Time to plead your case, so put on those puppy-dog eyes! Explain to the target that you found their review on Amazon and that you’d like to send them a product you believe they might be interested in. Don’t send out one soulless generic mass email – personalize the message showing that you’ve read up on the reviewer and seen their past reviews. Maybe comment on one review you found especially illuminating or clever. Personalizing your messages greatly improves your chances of getting a reply, so be sure to implement some considerate correspondence.

Great post, Megan. We share many of these tips with enterprise software vendors to help them drive high-quality reviews on our site, G2Crowd.com. We’ve seen contests and rewards work well for vendors, but as Anupam and Julie pointed out, remaining authentic and transparent is important to ensuring that the reviews are trusted and truly representative of the customer experience. Reviews like these are both a great way for customers to share their feedback and an invaluable resource for vendors.

Skip the rest Amzreviewtrader IS THE BEST. I have already received two great discount products for my review this month. EASY to use and highly efficient. I don’t spend a single minute looking for ‘valid products’ on any of the sites. I only respond to the emails asking for product reviews. The emails being sent out with coupon codes already in them are likely to all be taken by the time I get to them, so I rarely bother chasing those anymore.

This company is highly involved in products research and development. And under their KabelDirekt Premium User program, they often solicit qualified members to provide feedback. And contributing members will be rewarded with free products.

To take advantage of the discounts, you apply for a specific product and the seller will email you the discount code if approved. Reviews are optional to reflect the changes in Amazon’s terms and conditions regarding customer feedback in exchange for discounted and free products.

If you want to spot a good review then look for pics and videos, look for a review that has about 100 + words and includes the good with the bad ( rarely does a product lack a downside or possible improvement ) check to see them showing what the product does . I’ve seen so many reviews like ” this ball is great , it’s lots of fun ” that doesn’t tell the consumer anything. .. just a bland blanket statement, those are the most bogus and easy to spot . So ultimately, there are some really honest and unbiased reviews from people that are outside of the vine program ( my dream ) but aren’t being paid off to write 4 and 5 star reviews. The groups I belong to are VERY strict about keeping with Amazon’s TOU when it comes to doing reviews, if you get into doing this then make sure you know and follow the TOU regardless of what a seller or group admin asks of you .

I’m a top 500 reviewer on Amazon UK, and a Vine Voice on Amazon US (though I’ve never gotten anything from Vine, because I don’t live in the US), and I like posting reviews. Some are reviews I’ve also posted on my website, and some are for items I’ve gotten for free from manufacturers. But all are honest, and are not influenced by the fact the products are free. I’m a freelance journalist, and review hardware and software as part of my job, so I’m well aware of the ethical questions involved in reviewing. Whenever I review something sent to me by a vendor, I note it in the review.

Unfortunately, a very small minority of sellers and manufacturers sometimes tries to gain unfair competitive advantages for their products on Amazon.com. One such method is creating false, misleading, and inauthentic customer reviews. While small in number, these reviews can significantly undermine the trust that consumers and the vast majority of sellers and manufacturers place in Amazon, which in turn tarnishes Amazon’s brand. Amazon strictly prohibits any attempt to manipulate customer reviews and expressly prohibits compensated reviews. Nonetheless, an unhealthy ecosystem has developed outside of Amazon to supply reviews in exchange for payment. 4.

Do you think reviewer rank factors into it? It seems like a company just trying to reach a varied audience would look at the top reviewers to find someone. I like reviewing (and admittedly, free stuff) but I feel like I’m at a slight disadvantage in my reviews getting noticed as I’m not in the top 10,000 that you can scroll through.

As an editor, I want to caution you that Grammarly (or any spell check program) is not perfect. It will often correct mistakes that aren’t mistakes. (One I see often is the words it’s and it’s.) It’s a nice tool, but never a substitute for a human editor who knows the rules. It might be cheaper, as well as catching things Grammarly might not (such as awkward sentences, repeating the same word several times in a short space), to hire an editor to look over your blogs and online writings.

Also before I go, if you ever come across a survey panel and curious if it’s legitimate or not, go to SurveyPolice.com and there you’ll find people voicing their opinions about different survey panels they have joined.

Follow-up is key. Every time you reach out to a reviewer, add the date to your excel spreadsheet so you can keep track of when you sent your letter, who says yes, who says no, and who never replies. Follow up two weeks after your initial request with a friendly and simple message asking if they have had a chance to read through your request and that you look forward to hearing back.

The products on display at Product Elf is impressive (perhaps only second to AMZ) and they do an amazing job to keep their website updated almost on daily basis (so the freshness is always there – in term of product variation and look and feel of the web page).

2. USE a MASTER COPY OF your reviews (Mine is Called “NewEgg-000”) with ANY COMMENTS AND/OR WARNINGS AND SUCH and then just ADD your personal Review to this MASTER COPY. When you’re done with your NEW Review, then save this copy as “WHATEVER NAME-001” or “WHATEVER NAME-088” or whatever name/number you want to. This way if ANYONE has ANY QUESTIONS AND/OR COMMENTS about WHAT you said OR DIDN’T SAY you can provide them with the original Review. This saves a LOT of time AND arguments.

I got an invite a while back when it was new, but didn’t know that I could get free stuff to review. Any ideas on how to re-activate said invite? I don’t seem to have the email, although I could dig deeper.

I actually think the worst part is when Vine people get items they wouldn’t normally purchase, didn’t really want and don’t know how to use and therefore end up giving a good item poor marks because they don’t understand it. e.g., a great gaming headset getting mediocre reviews from people who clearly are not gamers and never mentioned most of the device’s features (macros, microphone, equalizer, etc).

CR was one of the first groups to test food packaging for BPA. After working to pass bans in several states, the FDA finally announced a federal ban on BPA in baby bottles and sippy cups (2012) and infant formula packaging (2013).

The first time you write a review, you earn $3 for it. After that, each review earns you $1.00. Reviews are rated based on their quality. There is a quality review threshold, which if your review score reaches that point, you earn an additional $10.00 on the top of what you already earn for the your reviews. The minimum required for payout is $10.00. Carrotreviews has one set back and that is the fact that you are restricted to writing only 5 reviews a month. Although this rules changes from time to time.

very interesting article. I have a quick question. I have sold some of my products on Amazon. I have done small tweaks to the design (which does not change the performance of the product). Because I have a new code with Amazon, I have lost all the reviews of my old products. Is there any way that review can be transferred?

Hi I am a manufacturer how/where do i get a list of specific UK Amazon reviewers in order to send them specific products they would normally review? I am not sure where I get the Amazon reviewers details from in order to make contact with them?

Posted a bad review once and the company offered me 20% back, but only if I removed the review, no mention of fixing the issue lol. I contacted Amazon to say they had tried to bribe me and Amazon didnt want to know. A few days after their 20% offer they phoned me at home, I hadnt given them my number and saw no reason for them to have it, guy was really creepy and kept asking what I did want for removing the review, at the end he got racist and hung up. I sent a recording of the phonecall to Amazon and once again, they didnt want to know.

I live in Canada, read many reviews and have written a few for different products. If I had been aware of the Vine program (and was eligible) I would have written reviews for all the items I own that are available on Amazon.

I pretty much skip over the Vine reviews — or consider them more of a product brochure than a review. Most of them are too long. All I really want to know is in general, are the purchasers pleased with their purchases and why/why not. Wish Amazon would limit the length of reviews.

I asked around at work to see if anyone have a charger for it and a flashlight that could fit it. They didn’t. So, I reviewed the packaging and quality of the materials, and I also made sure to alert other potential buyers that it looked like a AA battery but was in fact a larger one for super bright flashlights. I recently got a free flashlight that does use that battery size and will be updating my review.

Another useful resource for people interested in reviewing products online is our ProductsForReview.com. It’s a service where bloggers can post about what they want to review, and companies can post products they are offering for review, too.

I would like to understand better is Amazon allowing vendors to submit products to customers with a 90-100% off coupon in return for “un-biased” reviews legitimately? I am finding this practice very deceptive due to the fact that the sellers are misleading the consumers. Some feedback states it was offered in exchange for a discounted price, is this actually acceptable practice by Amazon standards?

“Consumers definitely can notice when a review is fake,” said Alex Tarnoff, senior consultant at Vivaldi Partners Group. “Obviously, fake review writers are becoming more sophisticated, but there’s a lack of genuineness of overall tone or over the top in praise, or the inverse, with negatives. It does hurt Amazon’s credibility a bit.”

Still, the Echo is more than a speaker with Siri-like smarts — it’s the connected home experience you didn’t know you wanted. It’s no longer the first Alexa gadget I’d recommend, but it’s still a fascinating product and a worthy buy if you can catch it on sale during Prime Day or Black Friday.

Does that unfairly skew star ratings however? Probably, and maybe there’s an opportunity there for something like an extension to provide a weighted score by scanning for discount review disclaimers. I think there is real value for everyone in these types of reviews when they’re done right so as to minimize influencing the reviewer as much as possible, although it may be more qualitative than quantitative.

Yes, you should get a Prime account, especially if you plan on receiving products from companies via the Amazon ordering system and don’t want to pay for shipping. You can sign up here: http://www.amazon.com/Amazon-Prime-One-Year-Membership/dp/B00DBYBNEE

No. Writing a negative review will not impact a Voice’s reviewer ranking. A reviewer’s ranking is determined by the number of helpful votes from other customers. Customers tend to value substantive, informative, detailed and objective reviews, regardless of whether the review is positive, negative, or neutral.

Also before I go, if you ever come across a survey panel and curious if it’s legitimate or not, go to SurveyPolice.com and there you’ll find people voicing their opinions about different survey panels they have joined.

2) Imitated gameplay. Spores gameplay offers nothing new. The 5 stages to the game all imitate other types of games. (see other reviews for more depth) This makes the gameplay seem cheap, however, the gameplay is not what sells the game. If you buy spore, buy it for the creature creator which is very well done and offers a very intuitive designer that offers a large number of bits and pieces for your creatures. There is also a vehicle and building creator that is not as interesting to me, but offers that customization that makes the later stages of the game unique.

I’ve been with Bzzagent for over 8 years and they have NEVER offered money payments. They do however offer mypoints for every product test report you file as well as their follow up survey. The best one I got from Bzzagent was a Sonicare Flexcare toothbrush with the UV Sanatizer values at almost 200.

Trek to Teach is a nonprofit organization that sends fluent English speakers to teach in Nepal near the Himalayas. In addition to teaching, Trek to Teach strengthens local communities by helping schools build infrastructure, paint their classrooms, and find furniture.

Even with the stricter guidelines, I have found a safe place to do reviews for Amazon sellers. Plus because of the restraint on verified purchases, these sellers are sending products plus paying incentive. If you want in on this, email brett.hudecek. Its gmail

The last thing to consider if you’re trying to get an invite to the Amazon Vine club is to pay attention to Amazon’s own review guidelines. This is what Amazon suggests when you’re about to write a review:

I don’t buy items with Vine reviews. People may say they are being unbiased but it’s just not true. You are going to be more reasonable in your review for a product you paid hard earned money for. I was looking for a shower head recently and had a difficult time weighing the good ones against the bad because so many of them had those freebie reviews. I ended up not buying the shower head from Amazon altogether.

I am very interested in the Amazon Vine program. I am currently a veteran member of Amazon Prime; as a proud Prime member, it is noteworthy to say that Amazon is my family’s go-to place to shop for most personal, household products, and gifts. And we are very grateful to have this outlet to obtain our needs. Be that as it may, as an Amazon Vine member, I will use it as an excellent opportunity to review the amazing multitudinous goods Amazon offers to shoppers like myself.

Read through the group rules. Some require member forms, review forms, and/or order forms. Beware that some groups will use SuperURLs, or gift card codes, both of which can place a red flag on your account.

3. Always tell the truth! Brands need truthful people to evaluate their products. If you lie, companies will not know if they need to make any improvements to their products. Also, you can get yourself removed from their program, and not get paid.

I am signed up with a few different places. Loreal is good. you get a nice gift bag with full size products worth over $100. I go to their Clark,NJ location. also CRL in Piscataway,NJ. good studies there too. Coty in Morris Plains,NJ. doing two now. will get paid $100 for one and $30 for the other next week in cash. not bad. Revlon in Edison NJ too.

By the way, I would disagree with the “Vipon is dead” posted above. It’s not like it used to be but I still get a few products there. I’ve got 10-12 from them over the past month. Their site is down this weekend while they move to new servers and update the site.

Defendants are in the business of providing such fake reviews. Each of the John Doe defendants in this action utilizes the website Fiverr.com (“Fiverr”) to sell Amazon reviews. Fiverr is a global online marketplace offering tasks and services,  beginning at a cost of $5 per job performed, from which it gets its name. The site is

I bought Ariely’s book because Frank, the producer for my business makeover segments on MSNBC’s Your Business, suggested it while we were chomping down some sushi. I think he mentioned the title once while he reached for a piece of toro. We didn’t discuss it further, but it was just enough of a trigger that the next time I was on Amazon I looked up the title. That’s when the 463 reviews convinced me to buy it, over all the alternatives.
